It’s much cheaper to mail packages from here than UPS. It’s usually pretty busy, but worth the wait. There is also free parking in the first floor of the parking garage for postal service customers!

San Luis Obispo, CA
This is the secondary post office in SLO, so if you drop off mail here rather than the post office off Madonna Rd, expect it to take a little longer because all mail that comes here must go to the main post office first.
This post office is less busy than the main one off Madonna Rd but the parking is less convenient. Designated post office parking is in the parking garage on the bottom floor – don’t forget to press the «20 minute post office patron only» button on the meter in front of your parking spot.
