Helpful and knowledgeable staff, very good products. I’ve been using Warnes since 1990 or so and have never been steered wrong. Matching new products & colors to old pre-​low-​VOC ones is particularly challenging and they are up to the task. My partner is a professional color consultant, painter, & faux artist and she has used Warnes almost exclusively over the same time period.

We use Warnes for all of our paint needs. They’re really nice and helpful and they index the colors we use so we can look it up later, which is really nice since we have a lot of properties and it’s hard to keep track of everything. The paint quality is great too. I’d highly recommend them.

I have used Warnes Paint several times while doing renovation projects. They are always very helpful and friendly. They are well respected by every contractor I know, as well as being a friendly neighborhood paint shop, plain and simple.

This is a small, out-​of-​the-​way paint store that you’ll miss if you blink while driving along Orcutt Road.
The friendly staff is extremely helpful and goes great lengths to find and mix the paint you want. Their prices are surprisingly reasonable considering that they are not a Big Box store.
I’ve bought paint there and have never been disappointed.
They also rent power-​washers that I’ve used on my house and deck. Because I brought it back with a full tank of fuel, they gave it to me for a nearly full day for the half-​day price. Can’t beat that for customer service.
