I love BCBGMAXAZRIA cocktail dresses. Love ‘em. And at this particular store at the San Marcos outlets, they are a serious fraction of the cost.
An entire wall of LBDs (that’s «little black dresses,» for you men out there) normally 200 to 300 dollars, for $ 100 or less. I found two gorgeous ensembles for $ 50. But they didn’t fit — arg! — and I refused to go up a size. (Ladies, unfortunately some of you may know of this rule all too well.)
There was another side of the wall that was all an additional 50% off featuring blouses (for work or play), jeans, slacks, workout wear, blazers and coats; along the back wall you can find swim suits, shoes, belts, purses … and all very wearable. Meaning, the clothes and accessories weren’t outdated or hideous. I actually regretted not bringing a backup credit card.
Service was great; Amanda, a bubbly salesperson, directed me to the better deals and styles and even brought me some personally selected items. This store rocks.
