Please, please, use Sophia and her staff for your next hair cut or trim. I have never been so loyal to a hair stylist. Being a male, I get a haircut every few weeks. Sophia and her staff are very professional and Christ centered. Stop waisting time, book an appointment!

I’ve been going to Sophia for 4 years now for color and cut and she’s awesome! The first time I came in my hair was green from box dye and she made it beautiful again! Very reasonably priced especially compared to the other salons around San Marcos. I recommend everyone to her! Great service and great people!

I love going to Hair Fitness! Pearl cuts my sons’ hair, and Sophia cuts mine. We’ve never had any problems. The shop is clean; the people are friendly. It’s in a convenient location. You can walk in during the week. It’s by appointment only on Saturdays.

The owner of Hair Fitness has been cutting my hair since I was six years old. In fact, she’s the only person who has cut my hair since I moved to the Austin area. And — knock on wood — I’ve never had a bad hair cut!
When I first met the owner, Sophia, she was simply a friend of my mother’s who cut hair. She worked at Super Cuts though most times she would come to my house and cut my hair in the kitchen. Eventually she moved to another (locally owned) salon where she was regularly voted Stylist of the Month/​Year, and before long she was opening the first version of Hair Fitness in a small building off a side-​street downtown.
Hair Fitness is now housed in a brand new strip center with a second location on the Texas State University campus. The staff is friendly and it’s (usually) not hard to get an appointment on the exact day at the exact time that you want it. The pricing (on everything from just a wash and cut to a full head of highlights) is very reasonable, especially compared to what you might pay at places with more name recognition.
If it’s not too far out of your way, or even if it is, I highly recommend making at least one appointment at Hair Fitness. Ask for Sophia — you won’t regret it!
