I’ve been jersey mikes countless times. Mostly to the the one off Palomar airport. But this particular store in San Marcos was horrible. Customer service was the pits. It took forever for someone to even take my order along with my boyfriend. The girl with the black glasses took her sweet time making each sandwich, unless she was new. But still you need to learn to hustle a bit more. And the tall blonde guy with this stupid man bun, was just talking away about hating his job with the other co workers. NOT what you should be doing or talking about at work. Management really needs to do something. Not going back to this location. And it was the whole entire staff working about 2:00PM.

I have eaten at jersey mikes so many times I can’t count but I won’t be returning to this location. We waited in line for a good 20 minutes before we finally ordered. We got two chicken philly subs that were made wrong not once but twice. I kept the wrongly made subs as we couldn’t wait another half hour for our sandwiches. The girl who delivered them to me didn’t apologize just walked off with an eye roll. Wait. Wasn’t I the person who should be rolling my eyes? When I asked for a refund on our sandwiched they couldn’t get the system to give me a refund bc there was a discount in the order bc I had earned a free sandwich. I walked out with a hand written slip to use for a free sub later on a generic slip that I won’t use bc I won’t be returning to this location. This location needs to take a lesson from the solana beach or Encinitas locations.

This location has always given me a good, consistent sandwich and great customer service. I’ll drive further to eat here rather than eat at closer vista or oceanside shops, which can’t seem to get the cooking right on cheesesteak, let alone the simple task of getting the order right.

This isn’t even about the food. If a customer asks you the SIMPLE question of «how many ounces are on the cheese steak?» you should be able to answer. So if you want food and care nothing about any information(God forbid you have dietary restrictions), this is your spot!

Horribly slow service. Under staffed. Waited in line for about 20 minutes with only 3 customers ahead of me. The bread was stale. I’m never coming back.

I was in a pinch for dinner and had my two children with me. If we ever go out for sandwiches it was usually a Subway. They are everywhere and fast. Tonight we stopped at the San Marcos Jersey Mike’s Sub. Excellent customer service!!! Greeted with smiles, clean establishment and lines on the floor to tell you where to go :-). I’ll admit… it’s pricey. But when they bring out a huge sub stuffed with fresh veggies and meat, it’s worth every penny. My son was so happy with his sub, he felt the need to thank the sub makers. As busy as they were they stopped and thanked him and gave him and his sister a little treat. Customer service is right up there with In and Out and Disney… but for sandwiches!!! We will be coming back!

I visited Jersey Mike’s San Marcos yesterday for lunch and ordered a salad(trying to diet post Thanksgiving!) Anyhow, when I went to the plastic bin for plasticware, they only had knives. I let the staff know the fork tray was out and they said that they had run out(12:30pm– Lunch time rush) I was told by one of the employees that their manager forgot to order more. I understand these things can happen, however, they suggested I go next door(Nothing Bundt Cakes) to ask for a fork? I did not feel this was a good idea. In the same parking lot is a HUGE grocery store(WinCo) perhaps one of the employees could have called the manager and let them know they would be buying a few cases of forks until their shipment arrived? God help us if our future generation cannot find solutions to simple problems. Better luck next time guys. They did give us two cookies for the inconvenience.

This was my first time going to Jersey Mike’s Subs and it was an awesome experience with awesome food!!! I love it and I definitely loved the customer service as well. I would love to thank the workers Jacob, Party Pat, Andy, And Tron for making this experience fantastic for both my husband and I. I’m definitely coming back to eat here again.

Fast paced, friendly staff and amazing sandwiches. Online ordering is really helpful if I am in a rush and yet crave their #8.(The absolute best!)

I’ve been here three times: one for a cheesesteak(meh), once for a turkey, and once for a ham sandwich. The cheesesteak was okay, meat was very average but cheese and bread was great. The turkey and ham were okay but nothing to write home about. I find that Jersey Mike’s is a step above Subway in that they have ‘fresher’ ingredients. The price is good for the turkey and ham but was overpriced for the cheesesteak. I know the ingredients cost more but I think the actual sandwich was smaller than I expected. Maybe they just picked the smallest bread for me or whatever. I thought the turkey and ham was worth it. I would not get cheesesteak here but I would go back for other sandwiches.

Four stars. Subway gets three stars, and the likes of rockn jens and hungry bear deli are fives. Now that you know my rating system for local sandwiches you can see that Jersey Mike’s falls right in between. Set up in the same way Subway is you don’t pick your bread but its Italian grinder style so it is good. The meats and cheese just taste fresher, and you get three choices for sizes. This particular location is usually busy(especially at lunch hour) but, the line was moving so it was good service too. Looks clean even though they were extremely busy. Im for this place. :)

Bought a Baja chicken wrap to go from your store today. Got to my home in San Marcos and opened it up and it was completely soggy and when I went to pick up one of the halves everything fell out of it… I threw it in the trash. If I had wanted to eat it with a fork I would’ve ordered it in a bowl. They might need to work on that. Waste of $ 10.

So I’m sitting outside on my motorcycle and I notice a lot of people walking into Jersey Mike’s. So I say«why not» as soon as I walk in Rob a employee welcomes me is with big energy and a huge smile. This being my 1st time here I was amazed by the customer service. He then suggest his best seller. The #13. He makes it for me and it was absolutely delicious. I will be briging in my office and my family soon. With this high level of service and food who would not come back. Hannah was letting me know about other future choices that I should try. Which I will. This place rocks

Love the subs here! The staff are all upbeat, happy and really seem to enjoy working together. The deli meat is fresh and delicious. I love the tuna(«mike’s way») and the big kahuna cheesesteak the best. We come here at least once a week. :)

Jersey Mikes! Great sandwiches! This place is pretty good considering that there are other sub shops! It’s the price that steers me to go to subway. 7.25 plus tax for a regular?! that’s a lot, but then again the quality of meats and cheeses is a lot better tasting than subway. I’ll only go if I have coupons! Can’t choose your own bread, and there is not as much of a variety of toppings like there is at subway. Be sure to get it Mike’s way, it’s tasty! Simply lettuce, tomatoes, and optional pickles, banana peppers, and jalapeños. With a water cup please! yeee! Staff is very enthusiastic, can be good or bad depending on yourself. Could get annoying or nice.

We walked in to get tailgate food and we came to the right place. We walked in and the employees greeted us and were very personal. We ordered 3 subs — turkey and provolone, original Italian and club supreme. The bread was crispy and fresh and the ingredients are simple yet tasty. These subs are pretty solid. We ordered all the sandwiches Mike’s Way, but without the onions. Our Mike’s Way comes with lettuce, tomato, spices, oil, and vinegar. When I was eating my sandwich I noticed that something was missing. Next time I will have them add mustard — perhaps that was my missing flavor. The toppings are simple in comparison to Subway, but it actually works. The sandwiches are very good and a great«healthy» alternative meal. There are usually coupons or deals for Jersey Mikes, so take advantage! This is located in the same shopping center as Best Buy, In-N-Out and Phil’s BBQ.

OMG. The stars aligned or something tonight. The whole family(3 year old and 6 month old) went out to eat and everyone was happy. We had a BOGO free offer. Why cook? My husband really likes Jersey Mikes(this location and the RB one). I have to agree. Good sandwiches– way better than Subway. It’s hard to compare them to Capriottis since the sandwiches are different. I had the club on wheat. Very good! We’ll be back!

I’ve gone to Jersey Mike’s twice and one item deserved a 2 and the other item got a 4, which averaged out to my 3 star rating. I had the Philly cheesesteak, which I didn’t think was very good at all. It might have been due to the fact that I’ve tried actual cheesesteaks in Philadelphia, and that a place like Philly Franks is just a 5 minute drive away but I wasn’t impressed with the cheesesteak at all. It just lacked the flavor that I was looking for. I did however try to buffalo chicken wrap and that was pretty dang good! I got it with the spinach wrap and it had some good flavor. The chicken was also tender and the buffalo sauce complimented the entire meal. Price isn’t bad as well. With a drink I ended up paying $ 9. Not too bad!
