One of the best places to eat in San Marcos, easily in the top 2 – 3 for breakfast tacos! Great, friendly staff. A valued business within the San Marcos community!

Yummy red salsa, Huervos a la Mexicana were loaded with eggs and veggies, the green salsa was deliciously spicey and service is super fast. There was a constant flow of people picking up breakfast tacos to go. I highly recommend.

My husband and I came for breakfast today. He had chorizo and eggs and I had migas. It was the best Mexican breakfast I’ve had. It was delicious. I’d recommend going here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was fast, friendly, and affordable.

Only been here for breakfast… Only ordered one one dish. The breakfast enchiladas, which is essentially cheese enchiladas in corn tortillas with soft fried eggs on top… Oh my gooey runny goodness! Hey, don’t knock it till you try it! Everyone else gets the breakfast tacos which they rave about. My advice… Go hungry! Oh, but don’t go for the coffee.

Breakfast tacos are delicious. I think their beef fajitas are the best in town. Much better than Taco Cabana. Los Vega has the same prices and better food. Very busy on the weekend. I could go here a couple times a week.

Ordered a carne guisada burrito. It was 7.99 and nothing more but a large tortilla and meat. I expected a burrito with all the fixings but essentially just got a large taco. It also came with chips that were not fresh and a two small hot sauces. Overall very over priced. Most taco places charge about $ 5 for their burritos with meat and fresh ingredients like pico de gallo.

Best barbacoa I’ve ever had in my life! Very flavorful and not too fatty/greasy. The breakfast plates are also very delicious.

Great breakfast tacos! Love the salsa that comes with them. I suggest chorizo, egg, potato & cheese or one made the same way with plain sausage! Always busy, always good!

My favorite breakfast restaurant since moving to San Marcos. Easily the best breakfast taco’s I’ve ever had… and the little cups of salsa for them are just the perfect amount of spicy goodness. Best best best.

I love going to Los Vega for their breakfast tacos, they are always stuffed with your choice of food. They always get my order correct — especially since I always like my breakfast tacos with corn tortilla. My boyfriend is very fond of their bacon omelette, very filling. We’ve been coming to Los Vega for almost a year for breakfast food — so far they have not disappointed us.

Los Vega breakfast tacos will do ya right, whether you’re hungover or just looking to start off the day with something yummy. Their service is lightning fast, I’ve never waited more than 3 minutes for ordering tacos to go and the staff is always smiling and helpful.

Los Vega was okay: not great, not bad, but okay. The queso is such cheesy goodness I can’t even handle it. SO good. Must get a large and consume it all. Maybe even order extra tortillas and get the bottom of the bowl. What?! Crazy! The breakfast tacos are very good. Although the tortillas are pretty thick, they’re still yummy. I just personally prefer thinner flour tortillas but none the less. I ordered the chorizo egg and cheese and I honestly will probably never order it again. It just wasn’t very flavorful. The sausage egg and cheese it bomb tho. The salsa is excellent. Not too spicy. Not too mild. Protips: cheap, hits the spot(especially for a hangover), takeout, YUM. Contips: very small building for dine in,(it can get pretty crowded really easy), don’t be lame, give it shot.

My friends recommended this place for an any-time breakfast and honestly I had an exceptional experience. Get a Bacon/Egg/Potato breakfast taco – seriously. Be careful with the listed hours. I think they are only open until 4:00PM.

Wow! Big Bomb-Ass Tacos have a way of redeeming this place’s Good Name! Based on my last review it must have been just one of those off days that everyone seems to have from time to time. I went here this morning and had two of the best tacos that I’ve ever had in San Marcos! If you’re tired of the same ol potato egg and cheese or bean & cheese tacos… then try either of these: Al Pastor Taco — Flavorful, lean cuts of pork tips that are marinated in onion, garlic, and some secret recipe of Deliciousness! This behemoth of a taco was Loaded to the rim… practically almost a Two-hander in my book! Barbacoa Taco — Greasy. yes! Delicious. yes! Awesome. Amazing. Best Taco for a Hangover… Yes! Yes! Yes! Cover this bad boy with chopped onions, cilantro, & hot sauce and BOOM! You got yourself one bad mama-jama of a taco! So Please PLEASE Disregard my last review. Found my new Taco Hot Spot in town! Los Vega is where its at!

The words«Meh. I’ve experience better» perfectly sum up how I feel about this place. Cheap? Yes. Good? Meh. I think I am mostly offended by the Velveeta that they melt on their food, and call it «cheese». It’s an insult, and it’s disgusting. They should forewarn you that their cheese is not really cheese… or at least give you the option between the pasteurized crap and real shredded cheese. I don’t know about you, but my digestive tract really knows the difference! :)
