Starbucks

I had a wonderful experience with a barista named Dani. I asked her to put the name on my cup at Rapunzel and she did so without annoyance, hesitation, or attitude. She was a wonderful person and really upheld the customer connection experience. I would go back just see her again, truly an amazing worker that makes you feel welcomed.

Love the drive thru at this location! It’s also a great meeting place s it is conveniently located off of the 78 freeway. I tried the «Holiday flat white» coffee… not my favorite. It was actually un-​drinkable, but that’s just my flavor preferance.

Seriously they can’t get an order right. And autumn was horrible told her drink was wrong and basically shrugged it off as oh well. Definitely one of the worst customer service and starbucks around. I will go out of my way and visit another location.

Great Starbucks. They are pretty fast but like every other Starbucks it gets pretty busy being by the freeway and a drive thru. A lot of seating so if you need to study or are meeting up.
Reason for the 4 and not 5 stars? There is a cashier there that is so rude. I will call him T because I dont think giving his full name is necessary. I have a pretty basic order and every time he is rude and short with me. He always tries to tell me he cant do my drink when I am paying for a venti and only asking for a grande. He says he can only do a grande in a venti? Ok so you are saying you can take less money and give me more product but not more money and less product? I mean really? I am paying $ 5+ for a drink just give me the drink! I am paying extra!!! Get with it! So frustrating when you have waited in line just to get attitude from someone who is supposed to help make the start of my day better!
Anyways other workers are pretty nice and never give attitude so thats why I only took one star away. Perk up T!

PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE
This is the Starbucks where I tried my first ever Pumpkin Spice Latte. This is the drink that my white female friends rave about every Fall. I finally decided to try it out. Honestly, in my opinion, it’s alright. I’m not saying it’s bad. No, not at all. It’s just alright
Regarding this Starbucks, it’s the same as almost all the Starbucks nationwide; it’s clean, free wi-​fi, and service is top notch
Yes, I’m a fan of Starbucks, it’s one of my favorite evil American capitalist corporations, along with Apple.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops to study at in San Marcos (The Old California Coffee House being number one). I like the space inside the shop. It’s pretty roomy and has plenty of space to study and have some personal space. Last time I went they had pretty clean facilities because I had to take a dooky and it was pretty good. I got an ordinary freshly brewed coffee last time I went just so I could stay up and work.

I have been here a number of times and it’s always a decent experience. I always get whatever drink I want and it’s usually made the right way. The service here is alright. It’s a nice place to hangout with some friends and just talk, while you have some coffee and maybe a cake pop. I continue to go here for my coffee drinks.

Nice location. Right off the freeway and had a drive thru. The drive thru line is awkwardly placed and blocks parking spaces so be mindful if you walk in that you don’t park in the way of the drive thru line.
I went in today and the staff was friendly, busy, working hard, and still very attentive. The lobby was clean, tables and chairs neatly arranged, and bathroom cleaned and well stocked. There was plenty of room in the lobby. I like the indoors and patio seating too. Everything is really comfortable.
My drink was not made to order. I stood there waiting and my drink never ca. It must have got skipped. But the ASM noticed and took good care of me. She noticed I had been skipped, asked my order, made it up right there, and gave me a comp card for my next trip. I like that! You take care of your customers! Thank you!

I frequent this Starbucks often because it’s close to the freeway and always on the way to wherever I am going– plus it has a drive thru. The parking is not the best & during the morning rush to work or lunch, expect a long line thru the drive thru. The barista’s are always friendly, even early in the morning. I went through yesterday and I was disappointed that they were out of coconut milk– and the barista had no idea when they were going to be able to order more.

Always love this Starbucks and come here for work often. Today I had a stellar experience with Natalie. I asked for an iced drink and it came out hot. I told her to just give me some ice because I’m not picky but she refused. She remade my drink and let me take the hot drink back to my coworkers. What a treat! I appreciate that she didn’t compromise the taste of my drink even though that was the cheaper and easier option. I also was very pleased to not see the other drink go to waste and my coworker loved the surprise treat. Thank you Natalie!

This by far the most bad customer services I’ve been in, it’s says they open at 4:30am but it’s never on time. I try open the door they could’ve say something instead they look up then down never again. One day I came in some girl was being so rude and didn’t wana my order

If there is an award for world’s slowest drive thru then this location would definitely win. But the staff is always friendly and my drinks are always made right.

I’m usually in San Marcos frequently because of school, friends, family, or restaurants, and with about 4 – 5 Starbucks in San Marcos alone (probably more), this one is the best one out of them!
Although the parking lot situation sucks, they’ve always made my drinks on point! Only like two times did they miss something, but the baristas are always friendly!
In the morning it’s chaotic definitely because it’s next to the freeway and a stupid gas station is in front of Starbucks, so entering and exiting out of this place feels a bit Mickey Mouse.
Never actually studied here, but there’s always people studying in groups, so if you’re lucky enough to snatch a table, grab it fast!

The drive thru sucks. They screw up orders. Can’t hear you. And don’t seem to want to be there. Been inside once and it was a lot better. Get with it people. Jesus.

Today I dropped by the Starbucks drive-​thru to redeem my reward for my free drink. The worker at the drive-​thru was really sweet. I ordered a Venti Caramel Soy Frap with two extra shots. It was PERFECTLY balanced & PERFECTLY delicious satisfying my only sweet tooth which is Starbucks drinks!

Sweet friendly crew working here. Lots of indoor seating. Usually never a wait. What else is there to say? It’s a starbucks…

I’m going to take away one star from this location…
Went in on Christmas Day and it was packed. The baristas were hustling, still being friendly… until…
I wanted a cup of decaf…‘pour over’ style. I had it once (at the suggestion of a barista at ANOTHER Starbucks when they didn’t have any fresh decaf brewed) and I’m convinced it’s the only way to go now.
Anyway, I asked for a decaf misto pour over style… and the barista shut me down. «We aren’t do that today». I was sort of shocked. I know it takes longer but there’s not extra manual labor. It just takes longer to drip.
Disappointed for sure. :(

The drive-​through is one thing; parking/​parking circulation is another. However, the two conflict around 715a through to the end of the morning peak rush. That said, don’t park in the spots closest tot he building after 715a because you’ll find yourself caught in the storm of cars queuing up for the drive-​through and adjacent gas station. Some are able to manage it; others not so much.
The difficulty is that the gas station, Starbucks and Carl’s are located close to the intersection to insure maximum visibility thereby putting parking and circulation to a disadvantage for a patron of all three at a disadvantage.
The solution is to park beyond Carl’s Jr. as there’s ample parking there and walk it.
Overall, the staff is awesome, friendly, smart and quick.

It was a Sunday night with only 3 cars ahead of us in the drive thru. It’ll be quick right? WRONG…
We ordered 2 drinks. Peppermint Mocha and a Hot Chocolate.
I think our whole experience took 20 mins.
When we presented to the window the lady hands us my hot chocolate and closes the window… A few mins pass…
She comes back and apologizes that she gave our drink to someone else and would need to make another one. Closes window. Another few mins pass…
She pops out of the window and hands us a free drink coupon for next time. Closes window… Another couple mins pass…
Finally our drink…
Closes window…
20 mins for 2 drinks?! C’mon…
