Omgoodness everything is crammed in tight here, but if you dont mind looking through a crammed full store of treasure go for it! What resale shops are about right? This is tucked away in a small shopping center but, learned about it from a friend. It supports local foster families and most of the store is dedicated to children. SOMANY clothes, toys, baby items and books. There is also an area for adult clothes which I found a lot of cute items. Hit or miss like most places. I like that there is not just junky knick knacks everywhere. You can tell everything that was donated was inspected first. I will return!

Tons of baby and kids clothes! I’m expecting a baby in a few months and hit the jackpot finding this place. Great stuff. Just be sure to look each item over cause some could have stains.

This is an awesome place to find resources as a foster parent or kinship caregiver. They work tirelessly for children and those who support them. I’m currently taking the CPR– class they offer for free to basically anyone who works with children. Check it out you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I have recently found this resale store and love coming here and donating my clothes as well. The volunteers are very friendly and helpful, there are always kids here which makes it fun for my toddler and the prices are great. I mostly love that it is a non-profit organization and they are doing so many great things that it makes me happy to give to them. My lack of one star is due to the fact that wherever there is aid there are entitled people. I was recently there and there was a woman wiping out the stores inventory. The staff recommended for her to «take it easy» but she did not acknowledge the concern. I wish they had a system to ensure people like that didn’t take advantage of the system they worked so hard to create. I humbly suggest some kind of form for the recipients to fill out marking off what they need and how many to minimize excessive hoarding and greed.

I love this resale store. I always find a great deal and they have a lot of baby clothes in great condition. The staff is super nice and friendly. The best thing is this resale shop helps all the foster youth, being a foster parent it is great to be able to go and get clothes that are in great shape for your little ones. They do so much for the foster parents as well.

I’m selfish and I’m afraid word is going to get out about this place. I love it! It’s hidden in a San Marcos shopping center with very little traffic. The ladies that work there are always very sweet and kind and their prices are low(I bought my niece a bike for $ 8.00). I was informed that they are a non profit that supports foster children. How cool is that! Their hours aren’t great, so call ahead to make sure they are open. And if you have extra plastic bags at home, bring them with you to give to them!

This resale shop is great, especially for baby and children’s gear! I’m expecting and have already been in this store several times since my mom and I discovered it a couple of months ago. I feel great about shopping here because the prices are so reasonable and it’s a non-profit that supports foster children. I have been able to score adorable baby outfits for $ 1-$ 3 each! I also shop at places like The Baby Exchange and La Costa Kids, which are great. However, since Straight From the Heart is a non-profit, they are able to keep prices lower. My advice is to check this place first to see if they have what you’re looking for. My only gripe is that they aren’t open as often as I would like them to be. They have rather weird hours because they are dependent on volunteers. I’ll give them a pass for that. ;)

I love this store! I stop in every couple of weeks or so because it’s really convenient for me(I work nearby, and it’s right across from the credit union). I always find something cute for my baby girl, and I know I’m supporting a good cause. It doesn’t make sense to me to spend a lot on baby clothes when she is only able to wear outfits a few times before she outgrows them. The staff there are always really friendly and helpful. I am pretty sure they will take credit cards for amounts over $ 10. Please shop here, and support the local community and foster youth!

I have driven past this store many times and always wanted to go in but never had the chance to get over there until this weekend. I am in need of a smaller size and hate paying retail, so I have started checking out thrift stores. What a lovely resale store this is. The selection was excellent, the prices were great, and the staff was friendly. Their charity helps foster kids, and I think foster parents might even get a discount since they asked if I was one. This is a gem of a little store. I got 5 items for $ 15. I will absolutely be going back. Now I just need to find out how I can donate items to them that I am no longer using.
