I’ve used A&R Termite both for my personal homes and for my clients. I am a Realtor and have also been confident when we come across an A&R Termite report in disclosures. A great company!

I have used A & R Termite for years and worked with Skip on many home sales. They are consistent with their reports and do a comprehensive job of inspecting properties. I have them scheduled again for a new sale and will continue to rely on them in the future. No company is perfect and it is important to be present when the inspector completes the inspection of the property. I insist they walk me around the property and show me everything that will be included in the report(except under the house… I don’t get paid for that!). That way if something comes up, I am able to walk the seller or buyer to the item listed on the report and we can discuss it. In the past, I have had items in the past listed on reports that sounded horrific only to find our it is a minor trim piece or something that can be fixed with little trouble.

A&R Termite is who our realeter uses. Mike, the technician was very thorough, spending an hour or maybe a little over an hour combing every inch of our house. He is definitely a wonderful, knowledgeable man. So, for thorough termite inspections with nothing to chance, A&R cannot be beat. Keep up the good work Mike and crew.

Avoid these guys at all costs. They couldn’t find a termite unless it jumped out at them. Seems most real estate agents like using these guys, now I know why. Actually, I know why… cause they’ll give a property a clean bill of health to speed up the sale process. My last 2 properties were inspected by these guys. I had a painter come out to get an estimate, and am they pointed out the termites. I bought the house 11 months ago, and A&R gave this place a clear sign with no termites. All inspectors at the 4 companies I got estimates were shocked they didn’t see this then, as with the termite droppings color meant they’ve been there several years. Be sure to have a REAL termite inspection by one of the major players. Orkin is good on the inspection side, but don’t buy their services unless you just like wasting money. Orkin over charges(by at least $ 500 and as much as $ 1,000), perhaps so they can spend more money on TV commercials. I’ll never buy a house again with a report from this place!
