Came here with a group of 5. $ 54 for an hour that comes with shoe rental not too bad for the price. Saturday night is very busy but fun! Got there around 11:30 bar closes at 12 so order drinks before your game if you do it that way. My adiosMF was a little too sweet for my liking. Overall a very nice experience..

Great place to go on a weekend with the kids! The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s clean and the lanes feature current-technology screens/interfaces.

Last night we hosted our staff holiday party with party host Sina. Craig helped organize the event, promptly responding to phone calls and emails. He was a pleasure to work with and are sad we couldn’t thank him in person for his help. Sina was AMAZING! She constantly checked in on our group of 30, refilled drinks, brought food and was simply enjoyable. Our staff had the best time, and we will be back next year! Thank you for a great party!

Very disappointing place. Having lived right next to bowlmor lanes in cupertino(a fantastic bowling alley in vallco) I was very underwhelmed by several factors. It’s always busy. People are extremely loud and rowdy. And this was a Wednesday night. They also don’t do open tab which was annoying, as it’s so much more convenient than having to decide how many games you’ll play. Parts of the place feel outdated, the bar areas, reception, and the café. The lanes do however meet league regulations so they’re fine.

I’ve been bowling for many years and love that BelMateo has changed and updated with time. Rolling balls down the lane doesn’t change much but the atmosphere is great here. Love the new touch screens, graphics, and wireless charging for phones.

We brought a group of tween girls here to bowl one Sunday morning and had a great experience. On a side note, I have been to several other SF Bay Area bowling alleys. I haven’t been bowling for several years now since the Daly City Serra Bowl was closed.(Anyone know what is going on with that empty location??) That was one dark bowling alley, but they had a great free summer bowling program for the kids. I had two children’s bday parties at SeaBowl in Pacifica and I loved the brightness of the bowling alley and the attentiveness of the staff. And then there is Classic Bowl in Daly City too. Nothing really memorable one way or another about that place since my last visit years ago. We had reservations for two lanes. Rate was $ 20 a lane for an hour which included shoes. Five adults on one lane and four tween girls on the other lane. Check in was easy and quick. The staff was friendly and attentive. Very impressed with the nice bright place and the high tech monitors. The girls could take pictures of themselves and even text us on our monitors. And the place didn’t have that musty bowling alley smell so typical of other places. We didn’t purchase any food here and we didn’t check out the arcade. My review is limited to our bowling experience only. Will we be back? Yes, definitely!

cool spot in san mateo, they got a good bar with cheap drinks. They got a decent karaōke night on Friday and Saturday even if most of the songs are from the 60’s to 80’s. The bowling is pretty sweet. There’s not much competition in the area so they stand out.

Weekends $ 7 a game. Wow, I think the most recently was $ 5 – 6. Long wait for a busy saturday night, parking lot is small but easy street parking. Belmont overall is a good neighborhood but that shopping is dead and feels spooky. Next to El Camino Real probably making it more shady. Didn’t get to bowl. Arcade has two video games?

Wonderful place to celebrate your love ones! It is fun and really updated. We reserved2 lanes for my husband’s birthday on saturday night and we had a BLAST! the package was a great deal and the service was outstanding! they helped me set up the cake and brought out the pitchers of beer and were really attentive with all our needs. Will come back for sure!

Great place to have a quick game or two with a friend or bring the whole family on a Sunday afternoon. The scoreboards were very modern, but I would have liked more seating options. The arcade could use some TLC. I was disappointed to find that some of my favorite games were«out of order» and the air wasn’t working on one of the air hockey tables. The woman working the bar was extremely sweet and friendly! The front desk staff was helpful and polite. The cost was reasonable, and I might go back someday!

My family loves the new touch screen computer units here. You can take selfies and it loads into fun animations on your score screen after you bowl your turn. Hilarious. There were some glitches with resets and the front register told us we had, to bowl on the last lane against the wall. We asked to be moved but told all other lanes were reserved for league players. When league time started only 1⁄3 of the other lanes were being used. Wish we didn’t have to bowl up against the wall for an hour when there were so many lanes unused. We love the bowling alley but wish the front desk was friendlier. No «have fun» comments or problem solving to ensure customers are happy. But we still recommend Bel Mateo Bowl because it’s fun even without a friendly front desk.

The most technologically advanced bowling alley I’ve visited yet with actual touchscreens! Is that pretty standard these days for bowling? Who freaking knows, but it’s pretty darn awesome to me. My friend’s birthday party here was a blast and I liked the pricing format with charging by the hour rather than by game. The pizza here wasn’t bad at all and the draft selection was very solid for a bowling alley. Would definitely come back.

I love this place! My husband and I first went to Bel-Mateo bowl nearly four weeks ago, and we had a great time. I’m a terrible bowler, but between the music and the great company, I didn’t have time to sweat my bowling skills. Things I love: 1. You can reserve a lane online. EXCELLENT! 2. Clean establishment. 3. Snack bar! We didn’t eat at the snack bar, but we were able to view the menu online. They have regular ol’ American fatty food, and everything looked good. 4. Karaōke! After our hour was up, we peeked in on the karaōke and had some laughs there. 5. The 21st century lanes! You can choose nicknames, take pictures, and a variety of other things. My mom was visiting over the weekend, and we went back to Bel-Mateo Bowl, and she loved it, too. Thanks for two fun bowling nights, Bel-Mateo!

Love Bel Mateo. I bowl here in a league and its always a fun time. They have remodeled parts of this bowling alley from years ago. The scoring system is very up to date and the lanes seem pretty good to bowl on. The employees are fun and a pleasure to see.

I’ve bowled here a couple times, and had a great time on each visit. We’ve gone with a group of 6 each time, and made reservations since Friday nights are VERY busy. (Shoes are also included in the price, which must be paid when the reservation is made.) The staff is nice, and are cheaper than some bowling alleys. Although, there are so few bowling alleys left, it’s not like we have lots of options. The place is bit more dated than the bowling alley in Pacifica, but– beggars, choosers… Bathrooms are clean, drinks are cheap(and better than you’d expect.) Parking is easy, and this alley is fairly close to where we live. I’ll definitely be back.

Reserve lanes online via the website. Best decision ever! The remodel is amazing. Loving the electronic kiosk. They take your picture now and use them in the cartoon videos displaying your score. It’s one of the only bowling alleys left and a real gem. I love the vibe inside and karaōke nights in the bar.

Came by for bowling the other night and the experience was mediocre. The facilities themselves were rather dated although the actual bowling alley and shoes were in decent condition. The screen to keep score was touchscreen and advanced. Their snack bar food was standard frozen-like snacks like fries, jalapeño poppers and pizza. They do have a bar in the back with adult drinks… but it had an odd smell inside. The bathrooms were rather decrepit though…
