Terrible customer service from counter person, who displayed no knowledge of the menu, while managing to be condescending to the customer. Customer left store before order was placed.

First off the service is terrible at this location and definitely needs retraining and real management. Majority of the workers act like they do NOT want to be there and do not want to interact with customers and at times it feels awkward when ordering. IE; i like lettuce on my sandwich and they hardly put any so i ask for more lettuce and i received some negative body language in return. Sometimes they’ll be on there cell phones checking while making the sandwich and talking among themselves(unprofessional). I will end in a positive note that this subway is in a good location.

Three stars is being generous… Service is whack. The additional stars are for its location.

The 2 star reflects the WACK service this place offers. Subway sandwiches are pretty much on point for the most part, so I won’t comment on that, however I feel the need to comment on the girls working behind the counter. Granted, I had to change my order right as she cut into the bread, because who woulda known the kid size sandwich was literally like 4 inches? That’s like 2 bites. Anyways, so that already pissed her off and she made no effort to hide her annoyance with my order. From then on, it was Miss Attitude all the way. Then when it was time to check out, she got all frustrated because 2 of my orders qualified for a meal(since I bought drinks and cookies), but of course, she failed to know how to ring it up properly and got completely frustrated. The owner(I’m assuming) then came over to help ring me up. Get it together Miss Attitude! It’s not a glamorous job, but I was neither rude or disrespectful towards you.

This is one of the newest Subway locations in the area. The new plaza is a nice addition to a otherwise old and decaying area. The plaza has a few businesses but is still looking for tenants. There’s no surprise that there’s a Subway here; after all, they have more locations than McDonald’s. The Subway is new, clean and in close proximity to Contra Costa College. The staff is always friendly and fast with sandwich orders, as long as you don’t order three or four sandwiches, which tends to always be the person in front of me. Regardless, the food is standard Subway and is on par to every other location I’ve visited. A nice addition to the new San Pablo plaza.
