I’ve been going here for 40 years plus Very disappointed tried charging me $ 16.50 Rigatoni and meatballs The girl said the prices just went up today I will never eat there again At those prices I could go to Raffaellos much better anyways this was the San Pedro location very disappointed

I only give 2 stars because I like the meatballs and thick crust but the place was a mess and the owner was just sitting on his cell phone instead of cleaning it up… what? I know plenty of business owners, they have to hussle but not this guy, wish I could’ve snapped a pic but he didn’t seem like it would’ve mattered. If I wasn’t at pet groomer, would’ve gone to Nikos or Big Nick’s.

Wednesday June 22nd i call in a order I go pick up my pizza its like 20 bucks pull out my debit card and the dude ask me for ID seriously for $ 20, been coming here for how long. my last review was negative cause delivery sucked and it was cold. Keep doing business like this. no wonder everyone is pushing sorrentos… smfh

This is my first choice for a Pizza fix. If my Italian grandmother loved it, then you know it is good. The prices may seem a little higher, but the pizza itself is bigger. You definitely get your money’s worth.

Adore this place, and every single one of the pizzas I’ve tried! As a kid, my grandpa ordered our pizza from Buono’s, and when my boyfriend and I moved into the neighborhood years later, our favorite pizza place was here, too. The variety of options, along with the absolute deliciousness of every one of the pizzas (whether choosing from the house options or adding individual toppings) makes Buono’s the greatest. Not greasy, plenty of sauce and toppings, and a welcoming environment are what make it so fantastic — and, of course, we never get tired of it!

I ordered a personal pizza from here a couple days ago. They were not skimpy on the cheese. It was awesome. I usually have to pay for the extra topping to get a decent amount of cheese. Best pepperoni pizza I’ve had in a while… I usually go for the more common Dominos or Pizza hut.
I am definitely going start ordering from here more often!!!

I moved out of state so I crave this pizza quite often. When I do come home to visit, it is so magical enjoying this pizza again. There’s something so delicious about the sauce and the dough that you just can’t get anywhere else. P. S. please open a branch in Vegas!

Authentic pizza at is best. But before I get to the pizza let me tell you about the staff. So Awesome! Dianna at the counter was so polite and sweet and helpful. It was our first time there but she treated us like we were regulars. The pizza was delicious. The sauce had great flavor and it wasn’t super oily/​greasy. It was just right.

Best pizza period. San Pedro is blessed to have this gem. My husband grew up on the Buono’s in Long Beach. Even though sometimes the delivery man delivers our pizza with the cheese and pepperoni all to one side because it’s slid all over the place …we give ‘em 5 stars. We love Buonos!

«Pizza was great, especially the pepperoni and the mozzarella. Still good as it was when I first moved to San Pedro, CA in 1998. I also thought the service was excellent. Dianna tailored the Rancho pizza specifically to our needs and gave great recommendations, the ones included in this review. She most definitely is an asset to the business. I also love how I see many familiar faces that I grew up with, still a San Pedro jewel. A coupon brought my man and I here and I was glad to come back.

Hangin with the Wife on an impromptu trip to San Pedro so we stop in to see if this location compares to the LB spots that we usually frequent. They definitely delivered on the pizza (tastes just like the LB locations) plus they had gluten-​free crust for the Wife (the one on Willow doesn’t always have it) and the staff was friendly. The only real downside was the lack of parking but I can’t really fault them for that — solid 4 stars!

We love this Buono’s… Have for years. I’ve patronized them to varying degrees since my days in junior high school, having actually gone to school, (elementary on up), with Frank, the owner. Back then, it was a small grocery store, (owned and operated by Frank’s father), more so than a family restaurant, but the sandwiches were just as good then as they are now.
Quality ingredients that equate to gastro-​intestinal, blissfulness. The family deal they offer is not only delisth, but a premium value to boot!!! Pasta, pizza, salad and garlic bread That’ll easily serve 4 for ~ $ 40…
Street parking only and that my friends can be a major bitch. They do deliver but because they are so freaking busy, that can take a while too. But… It’s worth the wait!!!

Came here one night with my hubby. We were in the mood for pizza so we decided to try this place out. We ate inside, and received complimentary bruschetta ! Dine in only special! It was delicious. I ordered a personal Hawaiian pizza while my husband ordered pepperoni and black olive. The service was very good and the food was on point. Crispy and full of flavor!
Will definitely be coming here again.

Received Buono’s menu in the mail so I decided to check it out.
Spent $ 20 on pesto pasta and a slice of frozen chocolate cake to be delivered to my home (which is less than a mile away).
Now, I did enjoy the pasta (how can you go wrong with boiling Rigatoni and throwing some pesto in?), but I could not believe the amount of oil puddled at the bottom of my plate. The garlic bread that came along with the pasta was quite stale and chewy.
Maybe ordering a basic pasta dish is where I went wrong with Buono’s. I’ve seen some great reviews on their pizza (but I MUCH prefer a pasta dish over a pizza).
Bottom line, I’m willing to try Buono’s again. I truly hope they redeem themselves because I’d love a good Italian restaurant close to home.

El personal es horrible, llegamos por una revista que los recomendaba y pues nos atendieron despues de como 15 minutos, el lugar estaba vacio y la persona al teléfono, les pedimos agua y nos dijeron que nos sirvieramos nosotros.
La pizza es normal nada fuera de lo común la verdad esperaba más calidad en ingredientes, si la pizza es grande pero practicamente no tiene sabor y eso que pedí la especial con prosciutto. Simplemente no volveria.
