Went here for lunch with some coworkers at a friend’s recommendation. None of us got pizza(I was tempted to but I’ve been eating pizza quite often lately) and we had no idea what to expect of this place especially when we saw the interior. It’s made for take out and a quick bite. They have a few tables outside and about 3 – 4 small tables inside and that’s it. Still we used the existing tables and had a very satisfying lunch. The food was very fresh and pleasing to the eye. The workers were polite. The cashier at the time seemed kind of out of it and got out orders mixed but it didn’t matter since we ordered almost the same sandwich except hers had chicken and mine had turkey. We got to try each others half sandwhiches. Definitely I’d go back for the chicken. Our sammie’s came with a simple cheese and tomato basil pasta salad. They also gave us a tray of garlic knots with marinara which weren’t bad. Just a tad over cooked and burnt for my taste. No fountain drinks from what I saw. Just bottled water, Snapple, Coke and San Pellegrino from the fridge. The lunch special was definitely a good deal. You get a drink 2 slices of 2 topping pizza for under $ 7 or Sammy and drink for just over $ 7. Can’t remember exactly the price, but when we got our sandwhiches and salads they were worth it. The portions were generous and hearty. Chicken was well seasoned, great crusty ciabata bread, arugula, basil and I think they might have included some caramelized onions in there. Their medium sized Caesar salad was more like a large. Overall I’d definitely come back here if not at this location maybe at the Hermosa Beach one which I believe has better dine in atmosphere.

Order pick up for the first time tonight and the pizza was just okay. While the cheese and crust were great I found the sauce to be a little on the flavorless side and the pepperoni wasn’t my favorite either. I think it’s just a personal preference as fat tomato came highly recommended by friends. Especially for their gluten free crust.
