This store is a Total Rip Off! They sell defective merchandise and don’t allow you to return it one second over 30 days. They try to sell insurance when you buy things because the know that the crap they sell doesn’t work.
Do not buy from this store! You will be disappointed.
Defective equipment Straight out of the box. They need to do us all a favor and go out of business. I will never buy from radio shack again.
They will be in bankruptcy soon i hope!

I feel obligated to warn people about this store. My elderly neighbor went in there to buy a new CLOCK radio. They sold her a radio without a clock AND sold her a warranty for it. When she realized there wasn’t even a clock on this thing, she takes it back less than a week later and made it clear she does not want any warranties. She purchased a less expensive clock like she had originally wanted. When she got home, she realized they never gave her credit back for the warranty — but they kept her original receipt. I told her to call her credit card company (the one she used for the transactions) about it and make them get her money back. She should not have to go there a 3rd time just to end up with what she went in for in the first place and repair her getting ripped off. It was the manager who helped her! She said he was sure to tell her he was ‘the manager.’ Shame on them.

Can’t say anything good about this Radio Shack location. Wouldn’t honor national Radio Shack promotion.
I’ve seen this before with some RS stores. They think they’re gonna lose money or not make enough so they come up with lame excuses why they won’t give you the deal that was advertised.
What they don’t realize, I guess, is now they’ve lost a potential or real customer. And maybe with the help of Unilocal,they’ve lost more than one.
I won’t go back there. If you need to go to a Radio Shack, there are others all over the place. Try Torrance on Carson Street.

When a brand new Canon camera lens assembly quit working only 3 weeks after purchasing it at the Radio Shack store on 936 Western Ave., San Pedro, CA, I worried as to whether the store refund policy would really be honored. When I took the defective camera into the store, the assistant manager explained that he himself could not immediately approve such a refund, but he was helpful, careful, and assured me that he would check out the situation quickly, since I was due to soon go out of town. He did exactly what he said he would do, and very timely. He reached his manager, and then called me the same day. The store fully honored their policy. I have occasionally shopped at this store for at least 10 years, and expect to do so for another 10.
