If you’re looking for a rare gift, this is the place to come! Its got all sorts of gifts that you could never find at Target or a big retailer. Bob (super nice guy) travels the world and brings back the best of the best. He really knows his stuff and can tell you all about the origin of his products. There is a wide variety of Bali /​Indonesia /​Hindu objects. Also, if you want to get a nice scented bath oil or soap, he has that too. Naturally, given the name of the store, Aromas, he has lotions, candles, incense etc. that smell fantastic.
He doesn’t gouge his customers, you get what you pay for. Great value for your money. Last time I went in I got this darling, wood hand carved Buddha for $ 8 plus I bought tons of stocking stuffers: soaps, body gel — ok that was for me :). You just have to see the selection to believe it! Tons of unique options.
If it’s summer, it’s just a short walk off 4^th street down B to his place. I know he’s open then. Other than that, give him a call to get store hours. He might be travelling to bring back the best the Far East has to offer! 415−454−1021.

This store is a tiny slice of heaven for anyone who loves candles, aromatherapy and spiritual or Asian inspired art. The owner, Bob, is warm and friendly and obviously fills his store with things he loves. Prices are extremely reasonable, and although it is a small store, there’s plenty to see. So many things to delight your senses!

This is a fantastic locally owned store that specializes in aromatheraphy oils, soaps and lotions, asian art, gifts, plus lots of interesting items not found elsewhere. The prices are excellent and the owner is very helpful. It’s the perfect store to get a gift. It’s open Thursday nights from 6 – 9, and Fri-​Sat from 12:30−5. I think it is also open by appointment. This was a life savor when I had a few last minute gifts to purchase. Highly recommended
