Diamond Nails

I went in to get a fill for my acrylics nails. One of the women started by removing by polish and glueing some separated nails. Then I sat there for an hour waiting for Michael to arrive. He did an average job. A few of my nails are cracked because the acrylic wasn’t thick enough. I don’t plan on going back and wouldn’t recommend it.

One of the best mani/pedi’s going & great prices! Not the fanciest place in town, or the best location, but they really do a great job. After leaving my previous salon of 16 years, it’s taken some time to get used to the way they do business here. I have always had an appointment (only been 4 times so far) and have had to wait every time. I don’t think I have ever been seated on time. It’s usually within 10 – 15 min. I have had both Mary & Susan, and they really do a thorough job. However, you have to block out a minumum of an hour 45 for mani/​pedi. That’s a big chunk of time. That is the biggest draw back for me. My old salon had you in & out in a reasonable time. One person doing mani and the other doing pedi. But I have to say, from one picky customer, they do an excellent job.

I had an appointment at 5:00pm, a lady came in at 5:40 and was helped before me. I asked the owner about my appointment and he told me they were going to help me right away, I waited 1 hour even I had an appointment. he never apologized. will never come back again!!! Bad customer service!

I have been going to Diamond Nails for several years. I have tried more high end salons but Diamond Nails definitely is more meticulous and they really pay attention to detail. All of the staff, Michael, Mary, Susan, and Jenny are extremely kind and it feels like you are visiting family. The environment is casual and warm. I highly recommend to others!

I wish I could give 6 stars! Incredibly thorough with attention to detail. Probably the best pedi I’ve ever had! I asked for extra time on the foot massage and it was pure heaven! I live in Mill Valley and usually go somewhere else but will come here from now on.

My go to place. I drive from Sonoma just to get my acrylics done by Mike. Never disappointed. :)

This is only my second time coming here, but they already remember me! They are very nice and the location is pretty convenient.
Both times I have gotten a spa pedicure and a gel manicure and it is around 50, which is very reasonable considering the gel lasts more than a couple weeks.
Parking can be a hassle, but that’s everywhere …

they all get so happy to see me. I love everyone who works here. They are nothing but the sweetest group of co workers ever. Price is great, service is outstanding and they got colors colors colors!!!

I’ve been going around places in Marin to get my nails done and none compare. I usually go once a month to get a full set because my nails are just weak and break all the time. Every single one of my appointments, I got what I asked for! I’m super picky about my nail design and this place just rocked it. Thank you!

I came on accident because it was the closest place to where I had parked and got a pedicure and it was AWESOME. Mary paid very close attention to my nail shape and feet (my toenails were ruined. months of soccer and no pedicure in like 6 months) and they looked super beautiful once I left. And it was so cheap! Also, she came and walked me to my car because I didn’t have flip flops, which was super kind. It was nice to be at a laid back, friendly salon. Thank you!

BEST PEDICURES EVER! I’ve never had a manicure here, so this review is pedi only. I came here while grabbing lunch because I heard their pedicures were only $ 20. She gave me a great pedicure with LOTS of scrubbing. I thought maybe it was a fluke because I usually get a good pedi at least once from every place I’ve been so I went back today and, once again, it was magical. Now let me make this clear — if you do NOT like to have your feet scrubbed, don’t go. I have gnarly feet and I only care that they scrub them like crazy. They use a buffer machine and the pumice. My feet looked completely different when I left and she did an amazing job on my polish. Not to mention she was very, very nice. If they were open on Sundays they would be perfect! For now I will go on my lunch break because this is my new favorite spot, hands down.

Great nail salon! The people are very nice, and salon has a pleasant, relaxed feeling. I got a terrific $ 20 pedicure, and the esthetician spent lots of time on my feet– they also use the electric buffer, of which I am a great fan, for removing calluses. My feet look great, and I will go back… (A bit of a chemical smell for those sensitive to that.)

Love this place! They actually use a sander on the skin & nails to smooth down any sharpies. I have a great appreciation for the extra care they have given me on all of my visits! Plus, they add cinnamon scent to their hand lotion… Yum!

Susan is amazing. Some of the other ladies are maybe 3.5−4 stars, but Susan is 5+ stars. She is amazingly thorough in her exfoliation (be warned, it can get ticklish), her nail shaping and painting skills are out of this world and she’s super nice. Oh, and can you say loooooong massage?
My toes no longer look like they belong on a sasquatch. I love her. You’re not allowed to go see her because I might not be able to get in. Shoot. Why did I write this review? How do I delete this thing?

GREAT pedicures.
I’ve been going here for several years now and have always been very satisfied with my pedicures. They give a pretty lengthy massage which is nice after a days work, ESPECIALLY compared to the places in the city that rub your calf for 3 seconds and call it a day.
The women that work there are super sweet as well :)

I have been going to Diamond Nails since they opened and have always been happy with my nails. I have had to wait a couple of times but not for very long. They take their time when doing manicures or pedicures and do them very well, love the massages.
I also love the fact that Michael, Mary and Jenny are so friendly and talk to me, unlike so many nail salons where the employees hold private conversations and I feel very uncomfortable.

Negative rating if applicable. Michael will make customers wait extremely long, and won’t admit he overbooks appointments back to back. Like many other nail shops, it’s pointless to make appts, since they welcome walk-​ins cuz they’re greedy with $$$. Does he think people have nothing else better to do? He’ll sneak in extra charges here and there… total scam artist. No thanks, not worth my wait — time is money. I’ll take my business elsewhere, as nail shops are a dime a dozen.

i hate to do this but i must…
came out of there with bubbly nail polish. looks like she sprinkled sand on my nails before applying the polish. could be from trying to shake and scrape the last bit of polish from the bottle instead of cracking open a new one.
they’re super nice people though, 2 stars for inner-​beauty.
