I’ve never written a review before, I’ve also never sent back food at a restaurant before, but there’s a first time for everything. It took the man who was working over 5 minutes to seat the two of us in an empty restaurant with only 3 other tables. He did everything else he could before seating us. We got the sampler plate and the hummus was inedible. The falafel was dry and barely warm. Then my friend ordered the butternut squash ravioli which was stale and undercooked; unfortunately it was better than my sour pot roast over unseasoned vegetables.

OMG, I am shocked at all the bad reviews. I loved the setting. Me and my Aunt went there a couple weeks ago, and the Ceasar Salad, was so good, I had to eat the whole thing, and when I finished, I was full, so took my mushroom raviolas home to eat. So good, I had them for Dinner the next night. Its such a personal and charming spot. Both me & my Aunt felt like we were in Monteray. Just a really sweet place with wonderful people working there, the service could not have been any better. I hope folks will give it a chance and check it out.

I have no idea what these people are talking about. Excellent food? I know Marin doesn’t have much of a palate, but maybe these people have never eaten actual food before? Ate there last night with my husband. Cute place, nice courtyard. TERRIBLE food. Steak was bland and overlooked. Veal was bland and dry. The rice tasted like sugar and all my veggies tasted like cooking oil and red onion. The oil on the table was cooking grade, not dipping grade, although the sourdough rolls were fresh and hot. I’m still mad about spending $ 70 on a dinner that was barely edible. I don’t even know what else to say. So disappointing.

This has been a favorite spot for gathering of friends and family and even just regular dinners ever since our friends introduced it to us several years ago. I think everything I’ve had here has been excellent! Starting with the unique and yummy appetizers to the tasty entrees served with the delicious house pasta followed by the best dessert brownie I’ve ever had. The place is adorable and simple, like eating at a friends home. I love it that the staff greets all of the regulars by name as they walk in and talk about their kids and previous conversations. I just love it! We love the cosey interior dining, but especially enjoy their outside patio on warm evenings. Their prices are reasonable, and their servers are friendly and personable, which I tend to find makes a dining experience even better. I recommend this restaurant for those that want a friendly, relaxing and casual dining experience with delicious food.

Thesis: This place is terrible Explanation: I am truly baffled by all of the positive reviews. The food tastes bad, the presentation is worse, and the room is ugly. Everything about eating there was cheap, except for the prices. I tasted many different dishes, as we had a large party, and none of them impressed me.

Stale rolls. Really stale. Like 5 or 6 day old stale. Bland Caesar Salad. Really bland. Like ‘Is there dressing on this?” bland. Boring Seafood Pasta. Really boring. And packed full of squid, but very little salmon, and only 2 shrimp. BOO! Then we got the warm brownie with ice cream. I thought, how can they screw that up? STALE! I give the waiter 60 bucks on a 40.17 bill and the jerk asks me if I need change back? Buddy, like I’m going to give you a 20 dollar tip for bringing me crap food. Dream on. I had heard good things about this place but I was sorely disappointed and I will never go back. The ambiance is nice, but the food sucks.

Hanna’s is a wonderful family run restaurant with a cozy vibe and delicious food. I have tried nearly everything on the menu and it’s all worth coming back for! My favorite dishes are the Chicken Hanna, the calamari and the schwarma appetizer, and all of the pastas… So really, I love it all. Come in here with a large party on a cold night for a great vibe and a filling meal, or in the summer when you can sit outside under twinkling lights and take in the 4th street ambiance with a glass of wine, or for a romantic candlelight dinner for two. There is a great wine selection and no matter what the occasion, you will not be disappointed. The staff are wonderful people and the owner, Hanna, is the most charming and friendly man you’ll ever meet. He will definitely take care of you. I can not recommend this place enough!
