With the closure of New Yat Wah, this is the closest thing to Chinese food in walking distance. It’s a simple quick and dirty Chinese food and nothing special. Great for a quick eat but not worth going out of your way for. If you can drive to downtown area.

Great place to get coffee or whatever you need and have great prices on them. Whenever I am in the area I am always looking for a good donut and a coffee, it’s must to go to sunrise donut.

This place is a real hole in the wall?! Explains the rush hour between 7am — 8am the locals goes nuts here. It’s like a donut zoo?!

I love stopping by here for breakfast. You cant go wrong with cheap and fresh donuts made daily! Nothing wrong with the location… Who cares if the people around here are Hispanic. No reason to dock a few stars for that. This is a true review for the quality of the shop. The donuts and food here is great ad the staff is awesome. Five stars for sure.

Good local donut shop. On a Monday morning there were many locals in and outside the shop, so it can’t be too bad. The donuts were decent and inexpensive. The service was fast and very friendly. I give a 3 star because the location is not great and the donuts are good but not spectacular.

I always try to stop by whenever I’m in San Rafael. Their croissants are huge and at a good price. Donuts are baked fresh every morning. The last time I stopped by, I bought two dozen donuts and they even through in a few extra and some donut holes. Who ever makes the donuts does a very good job!

This place has been in the Harbor Shopping Center for a few years. The donuts are pretty good and inexpensive. They have a Chinese Buffet with about 10 items from 11am to 7:30pm every day. The prices have recently gone up; but, you still get a lot of food for only $ 6.50. There are a few tables and some stools. Most people order take out. The owners are Chinese and the food is pretty good; although it’s greasier than most places. Without a doubt, my favorite dish is their Chicken Fried Rice. Though greasy, it has excellent flavor. The Broccoli with Beef is also really good. On top of the rice, my favorite thing is the Hot Sauce. They take Sambal Oelek and doctor it up a bit. It ends up not being as hot as pure Sambal Oelek. Though the owners and cook’s are Asian, due to the location, the clientele is 100% Hispanic. During the day, there are a lot of day laborers hanging around. I usually visit at lunch and have never had a problem. Yet, sometimes all the single men(with nothing better to do) staring at you makes you feel uncomfortable.
