The Lounge a Place For Hair

Teresa is a GOD SEND! I totally hacked my hair last weekend due to an impulsive buy at CVS that left me with a terrible ombré effect. I had numerous lines in my hair that I couldn’t cover up so had to braid it everyday this week. I read the reviews of Teresa’s salon after visiting a very $$ salon in SF and decided to call her. I explained my situation to her & she was convinced she could fix me for a fraction of what I was quoted in SF. She fit me in quickly and the results are incredible. I couldn’t believe the magic she performed and am so excited about my new look. Thank you, Teresa!!!

i got married last week in berkeley. i wanted to pay for my 4 bridesmaids and mother to get their hair and make-​up done for the wedding (they were all traveling in from far away, so it felt like the least i could do). i also wanted to find someone to come to our hotel the morning of the wedding, since no one planned to rent a car.
i started my search in berkeley, and got quote after quote in the $ 300 range. not what i was expecting! finally i put an add on craigslist out of frustration, and teresa responded. her pricing structure was so reasonable that i was convinced there had to be a catch. nope!
i met with teresa one afternoon and explained what i was looking for in terms
of service and style. not only did she know
her stuff, but she was friendly and down to earth, and i felt super comfortable with her right off the bat. and she was willing to travel to our hotel in berkeley!
she put up with a few scheduling changes and all of my crazed bride stuff with patience, understanding, and a smile. she and her assistant were on time and efficient on the day of my wedding (and had all of their supplies, including eye lashes for everyone, organized and ready to go). my girls and mother all looked amazing and were thrilled with their hair and make up. they all have really different hair, from short and fine to long, thick, and wavy and teresa made handling it all look effortless.
i dont wear a lot of make up on a daily basis, and was nervous about looking over done. teresa listened to my worries and found the perfect balance. i couldnt have been happier with my wedding day look.
in other words: teresa is just incredible. so much so that im going to continue to use her for regular hair cuts and styling =)

Teresa has been doing my hair for years, and I won’t trust anyone else! I never have any idea what I want, and I leave looking fantastic every time! She has such great vision and artistic ability when it comes to style! I recommend her to everyone I know!

I saw Theresa for a color correction and she absolutely went above and beyond. My hair had been brunette and a previous stylist had been taking me blonde but i was annoyed with how brassy and unnatural and unflattering it was, as well as the rootline being obvious. Theresa fixed it and now it is perfectly golden instead of brassy, with a natural looking ombré like I have never even died it and the sun did it for me. I cant wait to go back for extensions and color touch ups (if I even need it because i think she matched it so well to my natural dark blonde that my upkeep will be super minimal). Also, previous stylists had literally melted my hair and had to cut inches and inches of each session, Theresa did not melt my hair one bit even tho we did go lighter on my ends and dye my hair all over)
I think she is a wizard… some sort of magic was goin on in there.
