Aussie Crete

We used Aussie Crete for pouring a stamped concrete patio in coordination with a pool contractor we recently hired. The owner, Al, was a nice enough guy but took more of a «my way or the highway» approach to working with us. He offered us a few color choices and patterns for the stamped concrete he was installing. When we asked for more choices, he wasn’t too interested in providing them. We did wind up liking one of the patterns/​colors he provided, but that was more happenstance than anything else. We trusted our pool contractor with hiring Aussie Crete, so when Al didn’t want to give us a written estimate, we deferred solely to this trust. If it wasn’t for the pool contractor, we would have fired Aussie Crete simply for not providing a written estimate. We were told Al is a little «old school,» but I would rather him be a bit more customer friendly. His group did good work; it was just a hassle dealing with him sometimes.
