Definitely a smaller location than what I’m accustomed to, but depending on what you’re coming here to buy the selection is pretty cut and dry. I came here specifically to purchase running/gym shoes because one of my colleagues informed me that Sports Authority typically has deals or coupons you can find online. These coupons can also be used on clearance items. The clearance section was definitely smaller than anticipated and selection was slim, but when you’re looking for a bargain — one can only complain so much(especially when you can get some pretty sweet deals! For example, I got a pair of Asics for a little over $ 40 bucks! FYI they were on sale and not on clearance when I bought them.) Service can be hit-or-miss though. My first time here, there were quite a few employees and they all asked me if I needed anything but when I went to the counter to check out the employee helped me out, but it felt like very distant(I hope that makes sense) customer service, but was very patient with me when I decided if I wanted to add anything else to my purchase and when I was trying to find my coupon. The second time the staff that helped me with my return(aka an accessory I bought on impulse) the employee was super friendly, accommodating and present. Parking shouldn’t be a problem dependent on when you come! If you come during the weekdays during the lunch rush? Probably a bad idea. Many workers in the area are trying to get their grub on. I’d advise coming earlier or later in the day! Food for thought. Overall, the store was well-kept and organized. There’s enough staff to accommodate you and they’re typically very friendly and patient.

This location really deserves no stars. We came into the store at 2:30 pm today(Sunday) just to check out their selection of sports equipment. There were about 5 – 6 employees working, we walked in and did not receive a greeting after making eye contact with the cashier and another employee at the front of the store. We started working our way towards the back of the store and passed by another two employees in the shoe selection made eye contact and still no kind of acknowledgement was given. All the employees seemed young and way too into their conversations amongst themselves which they were conducting through their headsets. Finally one person said hi… After I had all ready started trying on a few of their small selection of slippers. I went over to the weights where another employee was just walking around talking oh his headset I was trying to figure out the pricing for their dumbbells and the employee did not bother to assist me. I won’t be back… Thanks for nothing Sports Authority, I’ll take my money elsewhere.

My review is on merchandise only. I came to this location to get a new A’s jacket and shirts. When I get there, the«A’s section» is SOSMALL. But, the«Giants Section» is huge!!! I get that the Giants won last year. But I feel like when you live in the Bay Area it’s divided on who is a fan of the A’s and Giants. The section for the A’s was sad. I asked if they were going to get anymore and I was told probably not. It’s crazy to me. This also goes for the Raider shirts and 49ers. Yes, the 49ers are a better team but fans are fans and the merchandise should be equal. It’s annoying. So if you are looking for A’s or Raider stuff, go to the Big 5 in the same lot!

Well, just visited this store tonight for the first time and will never return . There were about 10 employees and we were the only customers, however they all seemed to be too busy chatting to offer any assistance. My wife wanted to try something on and we had to yell across the store to ask for a dressing room, and we were answered with a finger point into the direction of the fitting rooms . My toddler was having a fit and was whining a bit and 1 of the employees just glared at us as if we were in the library. We purchased 1 item clearly marked with a discount sticker, and it was rung up full price. Then we wait for the manager to come over and even she had an attitude problem . I’m not sure if these people hate their jobs, or if they were trained improperly at this location but we certainly wouldn’t recommend or return to this location.
