The Pecan Crusted Chicken salad is a must try! I ordered it the first time I dined at Trinity and haven’t been able to order anything else since. :) The staff is very friendly and the views of Lake Pend Oreille and City Beach from the back deck are gorgeous. Trinity is a higher-​priced restaurant, but it’s definitely worth it!

I am usually very pleased with the food. This time I had the fish and chips and the fish was not well drained after the deep fry. Soaked the fries and left a puddle of oil over half the plate. The outdoor dining is too die for.

Recently went with a group of friends for dinner. Sitting on the deck is very nice beautiful view. Service was extremely slow. We waited over a half hour for our food. We were all drinking but couldn’t get the waitress to bring us another round. The food is expensive and not a lot of choices. Go for a drink and the view and skip dinner go somewhere else for that.

Breakfast here is amazing. A delicious and beautiful way to start any day — calm, scenic setting on the lake. Clean and comfortable. A little pricy, but worth every penny.
We had the country breakfast, crab cake Benedict and a half order of French toast. Everything was perfect. And to top it off, coffee was good and mimosas were delicious and served in big wine glasses. A++++
Dinner wasn’t quite as strong as their breakfast game. We were expecting another home run, but it just wasn’t quite as amazing as we imagined, especially for the price. But service is amazing, the wine suggestion was perfect. Soup was delicious and again our waitress did absolutely everything to make our experience as pleasant and perfect as possible.
We can’t wait to come back again :)

Went for lunch today… have always had a good experience here… Today I had a small issue. In the salad I ordered I found something that didn’t belong.(what is was isn’t important) just less than appetizing. Hey it happens to the best places I’m sure. What is important and the the reason for the 4 stars is I alerted the server and within 3 minutes the Manager was there offering me something else. I wasn’t really feeling it at that time so I declined,.She then took it off my bill no questions asked… That is the way it should be. That is great customer service. I have eaten here many times and had the same thing I had today and It is always delicious… Would I go back. You Betcha!.. Would I recommend it. I do all the time!

One of my favorite restaurants in Sandpoint, hands down. These guys are awesome! Casual or formal, TCB never fails. The food is delicious for every meal, and the staff is timely and very polite. The restaurant overlooks the lake, and has a wonderful deck to dine on in the summer time. They have a full bar, as well as a delicious lounge menu.

Pretty good food and reasonable prices. Especially good for a sunny breakfast outside in the summer. The only reason I rated it four instead of five is that every time I’ve gotten orange juice here it tastes like dish soap. I don’t know what that’s all about, but I wouldn’t recommend the OJ.

I have eaten here multiple times and have had great dining experiences everytime. I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here, as well as drinks/​bar menu and have never had a bad experience. Consistency is something you can expect here. Service is excellent and their food is consistently prepared well, kudos to all the staff. The atmosphere is clean and inviting with beautiful views of the lake.
If you are passing through town it’s easy to stop here from hwy 95. There are several good restaurants in sandpoint and this on is up near the top of the list. I recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

The setting could not be more perfect. In the summer, eating outside is the best. I love their salads. My new favorite is the black and bleu steak salad. It is phenomenal! The pecan crusted chicken salad is delicious (I don’t like goat cheese, so I have them remove it). I have’t had anything that wasn’t tasty here. When I go to lunch with my bestie, we always eat here.

I think of Trinity as the best place to dine in Sandpoint. The servers are all super friendly, the food is always top quality and the they also have the best mixed drinks in North Idaho.
Every time I go there, I order a salad with the maple chipotle dressing. If that’s the only thing you order, it’s totally worth it. The strawberry vanilla mojito is my favorite drink. My husband makes it a point to order something new every time we go there.
If you’re looking for a place to go with a beautiful view, drinks and high quality food in a casual atmosphere, Trinity is definitely the place to go.

I’ve only been there once, and the food was good, but even with arriving before the lunch rush, the wait was excruciatingly long, and then they didn’t have one of the dishes because the kitchen staff messed it up, causing an even longer wait. Not going back.

Alex the hostess was great! I really like the sweet potato fries here with the honey mustard spicy chipotle sauce. $ 3.00 for a side order — very reasonable! Crispy and tasty they were! I didn’t get a chance to try anything else, but the menu looked good!

La Quinta, CA
YUM! One of the best restaurants in Sandpoint. Also a great place for drinks! I usually like to sit in the lounge– it just feels warmer and cozier and not so loud. Some of the best items on the menu:
Portuguese clams– omg the sauce is mouth watering!
Tcb burger– the bun is so good. Such a juicy great burger!
Root burger– I would have never ordered this if my cousin hadn’t forced me to. So flavorful! Even if you’re a big meat eater. Try this!
Pecan crusted chicken salad– one of the best salads ever. The creamy goat cheese is the best part.
And last but not least… Best Cobb salad I’ve ever had!!! Absolutely delicious and fresh. Everything I’ve had here has been so delicious. Minus the nachos… they’re so so.

No dogs allowed on property inside or outside, so we left the dog in the car (with windows open) and ate inside the lounge/​bar. Ordered the brown ale and TCB burger with fries. Burger was over average in size, bacon was fair +, and the taste was 4⁄5 thanks to the honey-​chipotle mayo. Ask for a side of their great tasting tarter sauce to dip the fries in!

It’s been 8 years since I tasted the mouth watering crawfish soup! It’s just as good as I remember, and the view is breath taking.

We were excited to dine here again after a great experience last year. Sadly it was not the same this year. The inside dining was mostly filled with a large group for breakfast. They were very loud and we couldn’t hear each other at our own table.
I am so disappointed at the degradation of the food quality. The Ahi tartar that was great last year was scant and soggy in sauce. It was like they were trying to cover something up. The Cesar salad tasted mostly like anchovies. I added chicken to it, and they charged $ 6.99 for a small chicken tender.
I don’t understand the inconsistently in the quality.

When I make the trip up to Sandpoint this is one of the places I know I will have a good experience. Plus… you can’t find a better view during the summer time!
My favorite thing to do is drive up for the day and bring my bicycle along to ride around town. This is where I stop for a burger and a pint of beer out on the deck! It gives me that extra boost of food energy to pedal my way around Sandpoint.

Hands down the best restaurant in Sandpoint. Food is consistently of good quality and prices are reasonable. Love the breakfast menu and of course the fantastic view of the lake. Lunch has delicious salads and the service is stellar. One suggestion I would have for Trinity would be a better hot tea selection (different tea vendor). Other than that, two thumbs up from us! You can’t go wrong here. Would also like to give special kudos to their attentive servers with Holly being our all-​time favorite!
