Despite having worked down the street from this place for the last 18 months, this was my first time at Zilio’s. Having heard mixed reviews, I’ve opted for more tried and true lunch spots. But, I had a craving for pizza and thought I would give them a try. I ordered a Calabrese pizza and the house salad. I definitely could have done without the salad. There were, no joke, 5 olive slices, and 3 pieces of red onion. The rest was just iceberg lettuce. The dressing was decent, but I would have expected more in the way of toppings. I don’t mean a variety of toppings… I read the menu and knew what to expect… but rather, I wanted more of the existing toppings. Also, the bread that comes with the salad was more like a giant, stale croûton. I took one bite and threw the rest away. The pizza was good… satisfying. But it kind of sits in this weird space… It’s not nearly as good as Pizzeria Limone, as far as being artisan pizza. And if you are wanting something quick and cheap, you are better off grabbing a $ 2 slice at Costco.

Price wise this place is awesome. For such a small price you can get a whole pizza for yourself and be pretty full. Taste wise it’s not the best pizza, or the worst, I’ve had. It’s a very barebones pizza with sparse toppings which would not be a problem if their crust and dough were great, but it was very average.

I paid $ 7 for a full salad that was very plain. Spinach, romaine, a little bit of cheese, with some grapes and strawberries. Definitely not worth $ 7 and not filling for a salad.

Look, if you’re expecting top shelf gourmet pizza for $ 6.50 or less, you’re going to leave a little bit disappointed. However, without reservation, I can say that this is one of the best $ 6.50 pizzas I’ve ever had. And that’s for the ten inch size one. The 8 inch size is slightly less money, but paired with a half salad, that’s also a great option. I’ve enjoyed both. I have yet to find a pizza here that I don’t like, or a salad that was substandard. Again, I’m speaking in relation to price for what you get ratio. Usually, the pizza comes out pretty fast, less than 10 minutes, and that makes this a convenient and quick place to get a bite of fresh pizza. The staff is also very friendly, and happy to see the people that walk in, I didn’t feel like an annoyance or an interruption which is nice. I’ve been here probably a total of ten times since they been open, so I feel like my visits have been spread out over different employees and different times of day, and different daysand the experience is always identical. Highly recommended!

Thumbs down. The food was very average. Calzone was served luke warm and it was cold by the third bite. Waited forever for a salad. And they give you a cardboard box to take the salad home in? Would not recommend this place to a friend or family member.

This place wasn’t bad, I thought some pizzas were good and others were so-so. The one I really liked was the pear pie which consisted of mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic infused olive oil, Asian pear, caramelized onions, blue cheese & balsamic vinegar glaze. Also liked the vegetariano which consisted of red sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, spinach, red bell pepper, red onion, black olives & feta cheese. The other 3 pizza’s were just okay, nothing to brag about. The cheese stuffed bread-sticks with red sauce were pretty good too.

My wife and I wanted to try pizza from a new place. We typically order delivery from one of two nationwide chains, but we were in the mood to try something different. WOW, I’m glad we did! Using the mobile site to place our order was a little tricky. We did not see an option to choose«take out» or «delivery,» so the order we place defaulted to «take out.» I called the store and explained the situation and they found my order and said changing it to delivery would be no problem. They said our order would be there in around 45 minutes. BAM! 10 minutes later, the driver was at our door. I should mention that the friendliness of the person I spoke to over the phone as well as the courtesy of the delivery driver was top notch! No hassle, no wait, NOPROBLEMS, even at 7:00pm on a Saturday night. We ordered: 10″ pig and pineapple pizza for $ 6.25 Meat Lovers Stromboli for $ 5.75 Cheese Stuffed Breadsticks for $ 4.50 Cinnamon Bites for $ 2.00 ORDERTOTAL: $ 18.50 Like many reviewers have already stated, we enjoyed the fact that the pizza(as well as everything else) was not greasy. In fact, the pizza was one of the best pie’s we’ve had in a long time. The ingredients were fresh and seemed to taste healthier while still feeling like a really good slice of pizza. The Stromboli was oozing with cheese and a good amount of sausage. The stuffed breadsticks were slightly crusty around the edges and soft and warm in the middle. And the cinnamon bites, mmmm… They came drizzled with icing a strawberry sauce to give them an extra kick. PERFECTION! The 10″ is an ideal size for two adults. We had a lot of leftovers after sharing a little bit of everything, and honestly, we wish would have known about this place a long time ago. It is delicious, inexpensive, and just plain awesome. A definite recommend to our friends and family. Thank you, Zilio’s. We’ve found our new favorite pizza place in Sandy!

Ordered a calzone, cookie, and drink. After ordering, I left my cookie and order number on the table and went to fill up my drink. When I returned, the cookie and number were gone. I asked the man who was cleaning the dining area what happened he laughed and attempted to hand my partially unwrapped cookie back to me. Picture this, a guy who has been cleaning, holding a bucket in one hand, attempting to hand me a food item with his dirty hands! He was offended when I told him I didn’t want the cookie after he handled it with his dirty hands. He then says«I guess I’ll have to buy you another cookie.» This experience makes it unlikely I will eat here again.

Prices are great, they’re super quick, and have great service! The pizza smells like totinos frozen pizza. Looking at the pictures on Unilocal I thought I hit a gold mind. The pizza wasn’t good though or artisan style…

I was staying at a hotel for a work trip recently, and a bunch of my coworkers were sitting around trying to figure out what to have for dinner without a lot of success. I finally decided to choose for us, and I chose Zilio’s. It was good. Surprisingly good. For our group of 6 people, we ordered five ten inch pizzas. We had a great selection. I highly recommend the pear pizza, and the patata pie. None of them were bad, but these were the stars. There was another one that we had, that I can’t remember the name of, but it had a lot of oregano crumbled over the top and it was delicious. The delivery was very prompt. Our delivery guy was very cool. Definitely try this place.

I had very high hopes for this place since the wife and I are pizza junkies. However after our first visit here we ended up being highly disappointed. We ordered two calzones and stuffed bread sticks. We were the only ones there so it was quite shocking when our food came out lukewarm at best. There’s a few reviews on here that mention that Pizza Hut is better and sadly they’re right. Pizza Hut, Sams Club, and Little Caesars all beat out Zilios after this experience. The«stuffed» bread sticks were more like mini sandwiches than bread sticks. I have a feeling that the ingredients were frozen and put in the calzone dough which was fresh and the dough cooked much faster than the innards. Not sure if I’d give this place a second chance. Skip it.

I’m not a big pizza person, but I love the sweet pork from zilios. It has bbq sauce, pulled pork, onions, and pineapples and it’s absolutely delicious. I been here about five times and that’s the only thing I ever get. It’s very inexpensive as well, 10inch pizza for ~5. The bread is flat but I don’t mind. Service is fast and friendly too, pizza gets to you in 10 minutes max even when it’s busy.

Wow. This pizza is WAY less $$ than comparable spots like Pizzeria Limone. It’s good, too, with lots of options for toppings. Not as gourmet — the sauce and dough and toppings are pretty standard — but it’s good stuff. The pizza & salad deal is a good value, and that’s what I got. I’ll definitely go back.

Pretty good. I had the pulled pork pizza, my son the Italian sausage. The sausage was just right – it had that mild licorice flavor we all know and love. I also like the sweet pulled pork, though I don’t understand why the pineapple was there. Overall, it’s a thin crust, personal-sized quick oven pizza. I wouldn’t call it a date night, but for lunch it’ll satisfy.

This is Not Artisan pizza. It’s typical oven baked fast food type pizza. We were disappointed. We ordered a salad which seemed like they dumped a bag of lettuce in the bowl, and then sprinkled a few strawberries and feta on top. As for the pizza, the sauce lacked seasoning and tasted like a can of tomato sauce. The mozzarella was grated, not fresh. It should absolutely be fresh with Artisan pizza. I don’t like giving negative reviews, but this just wasn’t good tasting pizza, and considering they call themselves an «Artisan» pizza joint, it should BE Artisan. Wicked cheap prices though.

The only part I like about eating pizza is the crust… this place is a winner for that reason. We had the vegetarian and margharita Mozzarella was good on the vegetarian but pizza would have been better with some sauce. 4⁄5 The margharita was a winner for me: crispy crust, freshly diced tomatoes… mmMmmmm Friendly service Really cheap priced
