Cycle Gear is great. They pack a ton of things into their not-huge area. I can spend a ton of time in there! Almost anything that they don’t have, they can order. And their prices are generally very good. The only thing that I wouldn’t normally buy there are tires. You can find those cheaper online generally… but it’ll cost you an extra $ 10 to mount them. It’s relatively fair — I’m sure it’s hard to compete with the volume of online resellers. And the people — I love them. I’m not a huge people person, but they area always so nice and helpful. Even the least knowledgeable people there know a good amount, but most are extremely knowledgeable — up to the point of doing extensive research online(they don’t do that — that’s really only when I know more than them). They all pretty much are motorcycle riders themselves, you’ll usually see their bikes outside. Another thing that drew me in was coupons. Make sure you somehow subscribe to their catalog, because they often have $ 25 off $ 75 or $ 20 off $ 50, etc. That, bundled with their excellent sales can really make for some amazing deals. I’ve gotten full leather Joe Rocket gloves for around $ 25 with coupon. My boots were ridiculously cheap — around $ 20, if I recall correctly. I also cover their clearance area for some sweet deals. The deals get better the longer they’ve been on clearance. One thing that actually feeds the clearance area is their excellent return policy. Helmets can be returned within a week, which is really nice. And everything else… well, it feels like it can be returned whenever. I’ve seen tons of returns on clearance where I have to ask myself… really?! You took that back?! Well, good on them — they really do their best to make sure that the customer is happy. Note that they do mount tires here, but you have to take the wheel off of your bike. No problem for me. They can mount a tire while you browse the store… generally never takes me more than 15 minutes. That’s all I can think of at the moment — really great place overall. Only place you’ll find things cheaper is online(often not by much if at all) or at The Helmet Shop in Daytona. I prefer Cycle Gear though, but they are pretty good as well(bigger helmet selection and gear, but not as much of a range, and no coupons). Happy riding!
