After I read all the reviews I decide to give it a try, ugh it’s the tasteless food I’ve had in a long time. The popusas aren’t that good no flavor at all! My husband order a sopa de res (beef soup) and that was taste less no flavor he kept telling me why did u bring me here this food isn’t good.
The waiter/​waitress were hella Rude. ! I wouldn’t recommend it at all. Don’t waste your money.

Found this little place on Unilocal.As others have said, the outside is not very appealing, but once you step inside it is nicer & clean. Little hole in the wall place. First time here… we came for pupusas & they were great. We also had the shrimp cocktail & the tamales. Everything was very tasty. If you are looking for nicer ambiance, this isn’t the place.

A hidden gem, literally hidden since I drove by it multiple times and didn’t notice it despite looking for it specifically. The Ambiance is very true to the people and the country and this might scare people away but I think eating out should be a little about observing your surroundings and learning a little about a new culture. The food is very authentic and good and the service is quick and polite. Spanish does help but it is not necessary. I am half Salvadoran and as a student at UC Irvine I was in desperate need for soup every Sunday morning so if you are hung over get yourself a Sopa de Res.

A little slice of the Salvadorean motherland. Authentic Salvadorean food at its best. The dexterous hands of the ladies working in the kitchen create amazing hot off the comal pupusas.

Came here for national pupusa day with my friend… we ordered pupusas (duh!), tamal de elote, and platanos. Everything was really good and I liked how intimate it was as the owners are the ones working and serving you.
It does look a little sketch when you pull up as it’s in an older shopping center, but everything was clean once inside and you can tell they take pride in their restaurant. They do accept credit cards with a $ 10 minimum, but cash is always best :)
So happy I found this place, the pupusas are smaller, which are more authentic versus the bigger masa filled ones that people are used to — and even complained about — note that in El Salvador, pupusas are even smaller then the ones here!
So overall great experience, friendly ambiance, and food! Will def go back, the curtido and salsa were suuuuper good too, I think we finished ½ the tub!!! :)

I only tried this place because I was in the area and was pretty hungry so I decided I should try it out. This place isn’t that great to be honest. The pupusas are just okay and a little small. Drinks aren’t refillable but that’s expected. The service was terrible, there was only one lady attending everyone that was there and she just forgot about my friend and I and placed all her attention on one table. I’m definitely not coming back here when there are so many other better Salvadorean restaurants in the area.

Found this place here on Unilocal.Honestly, look «not so good» from the outside, but once you walk in… it’s bigger than it looks.
Pros: Good popusas. Not the best, but they are good enough. They have a variety of food. This place is always clean. Usually no more than 6 people at a time.
Cons: They do not accept debit cards. or cc. Cash only. Parking is horrible. Unless there is no one there.

Pretty rad place. Plan on brushing up on your Rosetta Stone as I had a hard time ordering water here let alone food. The pupusas are great. Better than most of the ones that I have had. They have beer as well as mexican coke. Place is cash only.

This place has the best pupasa’s! I tried my first pupasa here about a year ago & I’ve been on a mission to try & find the best tasting, so far this place is my favorite!
