This place is a must try!!! And for us a must come back over and over again like we have since they 1st opened up. Everything we have tried is delicious, a little messy at times, but hey messy ain’t a bad thing when it’s as delicious as it is!!! My husband usually gets burgers while I get the hot dogs… they are served on Hawaiian rolls and are so good! Their tater tots are so good too… we get them with cheese and sometimes chilli and cheese!!! Must try!!!

Great kids meals! I ordered the hangover for myself and it was absolutely delicious! The egg was a little runny but it worked out nonetheless. My kids loved the place and the food and asked to come back soon, and we will!

Finding this place was challenging. I had not known that the location was in Main Place Mall. Just a tip, it’s on the very first floor at the Courtyard across Starbucks and next to Blaze Pizza, I believe. I had ordered the Downtown Dog. It was so yummy and it was a pretty good size for what I paid for. The only con about it, is they literally soak it in sauce. So by the time I really got into eating it, my bread was all soggy & I didn’t enjoy it as much. I ate it with utensils, I just wanted to eat it like a regular hot dog! Fries were good and thanks to the Unilocal coupon, I got a free fountain drink! I suggest everyone to come but make sure they don’t make your hot dog all soggy.

Picking a place for dinner is always a battle, but we finally settled on Dog Haus since I’ve been seeing a lot of my friends post about it on social media. This location is inside Main Place Mall next to Blaze Pizza. Upon arriving, we stared at the menu for awhile just reading all the options they offered, but I already knew I wanted a burger. I got The Frieburger with tots. It was actually really good, very messy to eat though, but none the less good! The reason for 4 stars is that I requested no mayo and they pretty much slathered the mayo on there. I didn’t want to take it back because I was starving, so I wiped it off with several napkins and but that mayo though still lingered on my bun. I’ll definitely eat here again and probably get a hot dog next time.

This is my favorite hotdog and sausage place. Their sliders are a treat to the taste buds. The food is fresh and authentic. Love this place. Check out the happy hour from 2pm to 6pm. Treat your taste buds to gourmet hotdogs and sausages. They even have an amazing condiment selection of quality mustards. This place is hip and cool. Good atmosphere and the staff is genuine. A very cool hang out place at main place mall. A true hidden gem

Oh man! I could not stop saying«OMG this is so good!» after every bite of my burger and tots. I was totally loving the Holy Aioli Burger here. Comes on 4 Hawaiian bread rolls making it a size of a normal bun. The rolls are so soft and warm adding that extra perfection to the burger. The aioli sauce was smothered all over the patty and it was just enough to enjoy every bite! The chili cheese tots were beyond amazing in my opinion. There is chili in almost every mouthful. They have a simple industrial look going on… very inviting. Love that this place also has access from outside the mall so you don’t have to worry about walking thru crowds.

Finally made it to this place after a trip to the Main Place that left me starving so my wife and I popped in here to finally try it. I am a fan of the gourmet dogs and in fact, my go to spot is Linx in the Orange Plaza or Circle which ever you choose. I had tried to come her before but walked in and it was hot as balls in the place and there were no open tables. So what has this place teetering on 4 stars? Well, I got the Old Town Dog and my girl grabbed the Pig and the Fig. And here is where things get dicey. I liked my dog but it didnt blow me away. Something about the aioli on there and the jalapenos lacked any spice at all. But my girl really enjoyed hers. So I had to be fair in my review here as maybe I just got the wrong thing. I do feel like the dog quality is a little better at Linx. Fries here are good but the tots are where its at. Get the tots with some cheese sauce on the side. All in all it was a great experience. They have some good bottled beers and have about 6 rotating taps that have some good beers. I got a free koozie with my Dales Pale Ale which I thought was kind of cool. The workers here were super nice and very helpful. I will give it another try as I am sure my wife is going to want the Pig and Fig again. CHEERS!

Came here with my boyfriend for lunch and we shared the«Pig in a Fig» combo with tater tots. It was absolutely delicious! The sausage was well-flavored and the tater tots were perfectly crisp. Our order came out quick on a Wednesday afternoon and service was excellent

I’m so glad they have an OC locations! I’ve been to the Pasadena spot and it was delish. The sausages here are so good. My favorite is Another Night in Bangkok, A red Thai currywurst topped with Asian slaw and a peanut sauce… And since you can make any hot dog into a corndog that’s what I have to do! What makes the meal here are the chili cheese tater tot’s… Just a bowl of love. I tried the sausage sliders for $ 1.79, but it was meh compared to what I had already ordered. My curry corndog was so good, that I ordered a second… And ate it all. My hubby likes the beer selection and can you believe there is a self-serve beer kiosk at this Orange location? Kind of a weird location in a mall(Main Place). I wish they were closer to DTSA… But I won’t complain… the food is grubby and good here! Hits the spot. Plus, the perk for me: I love it when there’s a soda water option off the Sprite at the soda fountain bar.

This dog haus location is one of six and is located in the main place mall. They have a entrance from the outside parking lot as well as inside the mall. Makes it convenient. Their hotdogs and hamburgers are made on kings Hawaiian bread. Who doesn’t love that! They have a set menu for hot dogs or you can build your own with tons of options to choose from. Anything you like on your hotdog, they have. We ordered the bacon wrapped dog, tater tots, chili cheese fries and a burger slider. The hot dog was amazing. It’s pretty big which justifies the price for it. $ 4.99. The tater tots were good and crispy. The chili cheese fries however weren’t for my liking. They are really rich and they put a ton of nacho cheese on them with chili on top. The slider was just alright.

Hot dog lover here(I try not to think about how some are made and what are in some). This chain location is located on a corner of the Main Place mall in Santa Ana. Not completely ideal location but at least once we got there parking was fairly easy. As I’m sure you’ve read, large selection of unique hot dog and sausage toppings and preparations. I ordered the Scott Baioli and a side of the tater tot love boat. The hot dog itself was good but I think i mis-ordered, something on it was extremely sweet and I didn’t particularly enjoy(I think it might have been the aioli). The love boat was heaven, just wish they added a bit more slaw to balance out the chili. We tried to order beer through their«pour your own» setup but it seemed they were still working out the kinks. The beer would shoot out, causing massive amounts of foam, thus little amounts of beer to drink. Luckily, the manager was cool and put extra money on my card to compensate.(Seems a bit gimmicky to me and would prefer they just pour my beer!) I definitely plan to go back.

This Dog Haus brings all the boys to the mall! Literally, we wouldn’t be walking through the Main St mall at lunch if it wasn’t for this. Once you get in it doesn’t even look like it belongs in a mall, it’s more like a beer and a dog for dinner kind of place, but since they have a soda fountain I guess it’s OK for lunch too. Got the Little Leaguer which was great, with tots which were too crispy for my taste but still good. I hardly refrained myself from not ordering Das Brat and some other super appetizing wurst options, so I guess I’ll have to come back. About 3 or 4 times!

I love Dog Haus! I’ve been to the location in Santa Ana twice and both times have had great experiences. I’ve found the ingredients that they use to build the dogs, BRAT’s and burgers are high quality and taste great. Menu is really creative with a great selection of dog, BRAT’s, burgers and sides to choose from. They have a lot combinations to choose from and of course you can build your own. I found then menu somewhat overwhelming on my first visit probably because I wanted to try at least one of everything. Here’s a tip… If it’s your first visit try the sliders. They have 3 on the menu. The aptly named Burger Slider, Corn Dog Slider and Dog Slider. Trying the sliders on your first visit gives you a great sample of the menu. They have a healthy selection of sides to go with the main course my favorite so far is the chili cheese tots. The chili was outstanding and tots where crispy enough that they did not get soggy from the chili and and cheese. It was a great combo. I’m looking forward to trying a dog with chili on it during my next visit. They’ll also dip your dog or brat in their own house made root beer batter and turn it into a corn dog. I tried the corn dog slider which was was delicious. I highly recommend. On my net visit I will be ordering a full sized one. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. If you love hot dogs then you need to give Dog Haus a try. If you don’t like hot dogs Dog Haus is a good place to learn the error of your ways.

I took a half day off work why not go to the mall and get an awesome hot dog?! I have been twice and both times enjoyed the dog I ordered. My favorite dog so far, is the SOOO CALI-wild arugula, spicy basil aioli, crispy onions, avocado, tomato. It is all about that spicy aioli and the veggies. It makes you feel like you’re eating«healthier.» HAHA! We also ordered the DOWNTOWN DOG-smoked bacon wrapped dog, caramelized onions, roasted bell peppers, mayo, mustard, ketchup. Also super tasty but this time had a little much caramelized onions and toppings. The dog got a little soggy. And of course because that was not enough we had to get the CHILICHEESETOTS — fresh cut fries topped with our hausmade chili, cheese sauce, shredded cheddar cheese and green onions. The hausmade chili amazing! Now I need to try a hot dog with this chili on it! The self serve beer station is interesting and a little confusion at first. You pay per ounce. And there was flies all over the station. I think it needs to be cleaned.

Scott Baioli: 2⁄5 To be honest, I expected much from this place :(reading the reviews and looking at all the pictures just made my mouth water. I loved the idea of the Hawaiian buns as the Hotdog buns… But it was actually very hard to eat cause the buns were so flimsy. And everything was just falling apart on me !! :( There was just WAYYY too much sauce … And the hot dog was pretty salty. So the sauce just made it too overwhelming. Sad face. Also, it’s a actual restaurant within the mall. I thought it was gonna be out in the open In the food court

I didn’t know what I wanted for dinner in terms of taste, ethnic origin, or dead animal. No particular restaurant sounded good. Delivery seemed frivolous. The one thing that I knew I wanted was a very specific texture/effect: That«pop» you get when you bite into a high qualify sausage skin. I’m a huge fan of stuffed meat(snicker) and I love sausages(giggity). Bratwurst is at the top of my list and sauerkraut is a guilty pleasure. I haven’t had a good meat torpedo in a long time, and I’ve been craving that distinctive *click* when biting into a well stuffed tube of ground up herbivore. Dog Haus has been on my list for a bit and though my better half isn’t a fan of these sort of things, he humored me and said we could come. Yay! I wanted something familiar, something safe, and something new, so we ordered: Das Brat So Cali Pig and Fig We added tater tots well done to the order because the Mister has never had them before(shocking, I know). Let me say before I get into the porky goodness with their juices dripping down my face that the warm toasted Hawaiian bread was definitely more than what I was expecting. I’ve microwaved Hawaiian rolls at home before and they weren’t this good. Bratwurst was seasoned well without being too heavy, which was good and bad in a way, but I could taste the sauerkraut and it was very clean. Onions were soft and sweet. Melted cheese on the bottom of the brat was creamy and didn’t congeal in the cool evening air(we sat outside). Pig and Fig was definitely different and was exactly what I wanted in terms of something different and new. Sweet fig with crunchy thinly sliced almonds over a salty, savory sausage with cheese stuffed inside. I’m glad I shared this one because it was a bit much for my tastes, but still, very good. Winner was the So Cali, and despite it’s stupid name, I have to admit it was phenomenal. Fresh avocado generously placed over a juicy, spicy sausage. Crispy fried onions were«fun» and the arugula added nice color and pepper. Tater Tots were great. I imagine if we ordered them regular instead of well-done, they wouldn’t be as good. Check-In for a free soda or iced tea. Service was friendly. Condiment and drink stations were clean. Inside seating is ample and open with tables as well as long counters available. Outdoor seating is also plentiful with small and large tables to choose from. My only complaint is the outdoor trashcan — it’s closed with a flat lid so you have to touch it to throw your trash away. This isn’t really a big deal unless you’re a germaphobe. Parking is easy and you don’t have to go through the mall to get here. Just drive around the back and you’ll find plenty of spaces. I’ll be back soon to the dismay of my arteries.

Not too shabby having a staff meeting here. I’m familiar with making your own burrito, burger, and pizza BUT hot dogs is a first. Ambiance Parking | Generally parking is all in the parking structure and plaza. It may be packed on the weekends and reasonably busy on the weekday afternoons. Seating | Plenty of seating inside and out. Mainly bench style as the whole entire restaurant can host almost 100 people. Feels | A great hang out spot to catch up, be adventurous, relax, or to celebrate. There’s a tv outside if you want to stay up to date with sports. Food: Grand Slam(Recommend) Sounds like a pancake mix but what made this order deelish was the bacon and syrup. Scott Baili(Recommend) Bacon and garlic is a delicious mix. Oldtown(Recommend) This reminds me of Mexican corn but that’s probably because of the cheese. Chili Cheese Tots(Recommend) Standard chili cheesy tots delivering on all the elements as required. Nothing extremely unique but tots is nice from the conventional french fries. Another Night in Bangkok(A-OK) The flavor is on point in regards to the elements of thai food however it wasn’t my cup of tea. Corndog Bratwurst(Recommend) When I think of corndog, I think of elementary with low quality meat but now having the option to changing the meat is awesome. Nostalgic taste meets deliciousness. Customer Service | It didn’t take too long for our orders to be served. Can’t complain with that! Overall | 4 stars. Affordable price, great ambience, delicious food, and the option to build your own is always great. If you’re a hot dog lover, definitely take a look into this place! TL;DR Tips: * Too many delicious flavors, I recommend going with a group of people and share family style

After my Dog Haus experience in Pasadena, it was a no brainer when I saw they had a location here at the Santa Ana Mall. That was going to be lunch! They have a convenient entrance from the mall side. It’s under one of the elevators, so it might not be visible. Well, not to me anyways. I missed it and had to go outside to get there. lol. Now you know, don’t do what I did. lol. Ordering is easy. Their main items are Hot Dogs, Sausages or Burger. You can pick from their standard menu items or you can make your own. For side orders, they have quite a selection as well, from regular fries, tater tots, sweet potatoes and onion rings. I went with the The Pig and The Fig«Emmentaler cheese-stuffed sausage, fig-onion relish, wild arugula, whole grain mustard aioli and sliced almonds» Yap, it was good. I thought the cheese would be a stronger flavor that what it tasted, but still really good. I love, love, love the fig-onion relish. It was sweet and worked well with the sausage. This is a really good, I would definitely get this again. Kids meal, 2 sliders, tots & drink Corn dog slider — The batter for the corn dog was not very good IMO. The hot dog inside was very good. But I would not give it to a child. It was aggressively spiced with pepper, my son didn’t like it(but I did) Hot dog slider — see above. The food was a solid 4 stars but I have to deduct one star for the service. 6 people in line and I’m #3 and I get my food last. How does that happen? Would I go back, absolutely. They have some really good meat choices and I love variety. I just hope the service is better next time. 2015 Review #62
