The people here are so sweet and nice. There’s another donut shop right down the street but I always opt to going to this one bc of how nice everyone is here :)

So I went here after my step mom told me their breakfast items were good. We ordered our food, some coffee and my step mom had one of their «Starbucks» drinks (the caramel cappuccino I believe). First of all, the taste was ABSOLUTELY disgusting. It tasted heavily of artificial perfume or something, second, it was bitter as all hell and third, it tasted of expired milk. I tried explaining to the lady working there what the problem was, but she kept insisting it was just because it was a «Starbucks» drink and that was why it was so strong. Ha, no. After I told her if I could exchange it for a mocha instead, she did, but she charged me for the nasty drink and the mocha as well. Never again will I come to this horrible place. And Donut City? Your breakfast sandwiches are mediocre at best.

I have stopped in a handful of times and every time the staff are very nice and welcoming. I love their croissants, especially the ham, cheese and jalapeño and of course their donuts are great too. I recommend stopping by and giving them a try, you’ll be happy you did.

I was in the area getting an alignment done so I figured I would stop in for something to eat… After being greeted with a smile and helped promptly I sat and enjoyed my meal… I didn’t catch her name but the little lady that help everyone that walked in was really sweet… Always had a smile on her face and willing to help in every way… She even heated up my croissant! I believe in recognizing good customer service… This little place knows what that is! Thanks again!

Walked there on a Sunday morning to try something new for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches we had were fresh, and good. Not the best sandwich I’ve ever had, but definitely hit the spot! Blended coffee drink was good as well! 5 stars for the two ladies that were behind the counter! They were so kind, and hilarious. Provided outstanding service, and would go back here just to experience it again!

Is it just me or have the maple bars gotten even more delicious?! The ladies that work here are always so nice! My daughter loves coming with me to get donuts from here. This has become one of our go to regular donut shops. Always friendly, fresh and stocked! Just love this place!

Donuts! Best place to get an apple fritter or maple bar. Nice selection of the good, reliable donuts we all love (glazed, chocolate, sugar, maple). The family that runs this place is super nice. Anyone behind the counter always gives friendly service. I came in on National Donut Day and they had a fruity pebbles donut that was really good. Hope to see more creations like that. Overall, good donuts and good service.

Stopped in to get a classic regular chocolate donut, since I’m a firm believer in judging an establishment by their most basic items. After being attended by a very nice lady and 80 cents later I was enjoying a donut with a slightly crispy outer shell and soft doughy insides and a very mild chocolate taste not too sugary.

A humble defense of Donut City.
I’ve been a customer of DC for many years. I have yet to meet the man described in the earlier reviews. When I am there, usually on Saturday or Sunday morning, the woman who serves me is attentive, polite and very kind. The donuts are excellent, always fresh and their prices are very fair. This is an old school donut shop, so go find your Cronuts somewhere else, but if you like buttermilk, old fashioned, boston cremes or, my favorite, Apple Fritters, then this is a darn good donut shop. Ignore the haters and give them a try.
Bonus Points to Donut City for supporting Loma Vista Elementary School, I love patronizing businesses that give back to their community.

I could not be more disgusted with the customer service I received from the older man that is there on Saturday mornings. I went in to buy 2 donuts with my debit card. He had the nerve to say ‘really, you’re going to use your debit card just to buy 2 donuts?’, when I responded with a yes he said, ‘well next time if your just going to buy 2 donuts, you can’t use your debit card, it’s a waste.’ I could not believe he would say such a thing! What is wrong with him!!! I do not understand why people like him are the way that they are. I am never going back to this place ever again.
