The cashier is always rude (chubby chola looking bitch), they didnt want to make anything else other than burgers when i came last night around 730. Food takes forever waited for 30mins for my food last time when i was the only customer other than the women with two kids that obviously knew the worker who was catering to her, bringing her multiple items before my to go order.

After seeing so many bad reviews I decided to give this place a chance anyways. I then found that the reviews were right. This place is horrible. I waited for 15 to 20 minutes at the register to order food. There were 3 people including the owner at the register gossiping and never once did they acknowledge me waiting. When I tried again to order food they all ignored me and walked away from the register. I then left the restaurant after being treated so poorly. The food is not that great and the customer service is awful. My advice is take your hard earned money elsewhere and save yourself the bad treatment and go somewhere else. This place deserves negative stars.

Purchased a hamburger special only to find the meat burnt and no tomatoe or lettuce, I guess that’s why they call it a hamburger special then. The waitress had a nasty attitude and had very poor communication and writing skills. On top of everything the wait time to get your food is so long.

So I read alot of bad reviews about this place, surprisingly it’s not bad. The place looks relatively clean, nice staff, service does need work and they do need to restock certain supplies like napkins at every table. Pretty decent meal. I would return another time if I had the chanc.

if I could give this negative stars I would, customer service sucked and my food had a hair in it and asked if I’d like another… ummmm no thank you you can keep ur hairs to urself.
then they refused to give me a refund on my order she said because only my combo had the hair… even tho my daughter refused to eat after she saw the hair

Listen to everyone’s reviews… avoid this place. The food takes forever to get and it’s mediocre at best. They also pass the food around from chef to waitress by hand with no gloves. This wouldn’t be a big deal but prior to this exchange I saw the waitress wipe down tables w a dirty cloth then squeeze the towel dry. Then while her hands still had to have been wet from the towel she grabs the food and begins to plate. This place would get 0 stars if Unilocal didn’t make it mandatory to give at least one. This place should be shut down

They have the worst restrooms ever. I dont even like to send my kids to wash their hands here. I used to come here all the time because of their bacon avocado burgers. I like their teriyaki chicken as well. But, for the past months that ive ordered teriyaki they always say that they are out of it. I dont know if they are going through a teriyaki crisis or something but they really need to step it up a lot. The girls are always in a bad mood. The owners are very nice and friendly.

I Them a 4 because the food is fucking great I mean really fucking great. Yes the restroom looks like shit, but that’s not their fault. It’s the stupid ass little cholo and tagger kids that go there and ruin the place. If the place was remodeled then it would easily get better reviews but these kids love ruining their own god dang city

This place was the worst. Every seat was taken by people sleeping, baby running around unsupervised. When a table did open a cook would take it. Three cooks all at different tables and they are filled. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Every lady in the place working had a huge attitude. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere

This is one of the dirtiest fast food restaurants I’ve ever been in take a walk into the restroom and you will walk right out of the place, I think the owner should read some of the reviews and maybe try to clean this place up food is also terrible

Bad experience with staff. I got the wrong sandwich and when i got up to tell the cashier she argued telling me that i got what i ordered. I then decided i didnt want to eat what i got, so i got up to ask for a box… and one of the waitress that was already sitting down waiting for her ride with a purse on hand got up to the front counter where i was waiting an asked «what do you want». I asked her if i can get my sandwich packed to go… she then got a to-​go box and threw it on the counter for me to get. Never coming back. Btw the owner saw everything asked the staff what was going on. Didnt do anything about it.

I had such a bad experience here on my 3^rd visit that I will never come back again. I ordered 3 meals (2 burgers and fried chicken). The cashier/​waitress told me that the chicken would be 20 minutes and she asked if I wanted my burgers first, I said yes. So after about ten minutes of sitting down in one of the booths, I realized that we didn’t have any drinks, I had to complain to the waitress about our drinks in order for us to get them. Ugh. Not a good start. After 30 minutes of waiting I was wondering where the hell are my 2 burgers that should ‘ve been out within 10 minutes are? I finally get my chicken and I ask the waitress about the burgers and… she tells me she has no record of me ordering the burgers.
My blood is beginning to boil and I tell her that I paid $ 19 for three meals, and I want my other 2 meals, (I even showed her my reciept). She tells me ‘ok’ and as I was watching her she goes back and questions the cook who has a dumbfounded expression on his face. I literally saw her go to the trashcan by the register and pull out my order and read it to the cook… They had thrown away my freaking order! After this I realized that my chicken was supposed to come with soup, so I tell the waitress this and she says ‘sorry’ that she’ll bring it right out. It took them 40 minutes to get all my food out, geez.
The best part was that the waitress had a pissed off expression afterwards that was easily noticeable. I’m never coming back here, every one should stay away.

Save your money and time. Went there for a cheese burger special like the ones shown on the pictures in the window, instead we got a guy selling bootleg DVDs and a table we had to clean ourselves even though we where the only ones there. Anyways sat down waited for our cheeseburger specials to come, went to the bathroom that looked right out of a third world country. Trash can overflowing with toilet paper, urine all over the bowl and floor surprised this place had running water. So finally the food comes and after just one bite I knew something was wrong, it just didn’t taste like beef. So I opened the burger to find a pale brown pattie that was either frost bitten or frozen cardboard. I asked the waitress if I could have one like the ones shown in the picture and she said that those pics where not of any of there food made there. Didn’t even finish the distrusting burgers. Only ate the fries and soda, worst $ 14.00 EVER spent.
Avoid at all cost save your hard earned money and just keep on driving east on civic center drive and have a real burger at the In N Out just 3 minutes away from there.

Food isn’t that bad. Came here with my brother and his girlfriend after a half day of work. This place was packed with locals and instantly 3 Asians walking in, we got those looks like this is not Little Saigon. Anyways, we order our food and wait about 15 – 20 minutes continuously getting non-​stop looks for both staff and customers. Guess our kind is not welcome. Haha. The décor of this place is gross. I wouldn’t stay and eat there. Floor and tables were dirty. Order your food and take it to go or just find somewhere else to go.

food is good! the customer service needs help on clearing tables. I have to remind the staff that the tables do not clear by its self. I go there and there is always trash on the ground. but if you can walk around the junk. this place is good to eat at.

I have been coming here for years. It sure helps if you live pretty damn close. Sure it needs to be remodeled, but I like how this place looks like an old diner from the 70s. Service here is okay. It can be pretty quick most of the times. And the prices are right. Breakfast is served all day. Fuck you McDonald’s, you stop breakfast at 10:30 now.
I normally get the Jr. Burger when I go here. The price on the menu board says $ 1.59, but they have since lowered it to $ 1.19. Even though it’s a ‘junior’ burger, the size is about normal, but the meat is pretty thin. It’s not the best tasting thing out there, but for the price, it’s good. I recommend getting the Avocado Burger.
They also have a $ 3.79 breakfast item. It comes with two eggs, hash browns, two toasts, and your choice of meat: bacon, sausage and something else I don’t remember. I went with the sausage and it was good. The eggs were fine. The hash browns were a little overcooked. And the toast was delicious.

Food: I got the breakfast special. 3 pancakes, 2 eggs for $ 2.95 and a side of bacon for $ 1.99 more. and don’t forget the coffee. Pancakes were alright. Nothing special. Got scrambled eggs. kindy dry. Bacon tasted like burnt plastic. not good. My dad got the porkchops. with pancakes and eggs. The porkchops looked kindda overcooked. My dad’s g/​f got the other breakfast special; hashbrowns, toast and eggs. I tried the hashbrowns. no taste. Added pepper. no improvement. I should of known they weren’t gonna be good since it looked like a slab/​blob of potatoes. Tried a piece of toast… nasty. The bread felt soggy… must of been the cheapest bread they could find. And the jelly. is there such thing as imitation jelly? If so. then this was it.
Environment: As I said, place was packed. Very loud. kids everywhere. Common, do people know how to control their kids? I saw 3 kids slamming their fists on the arcade machine. The place was dirty. It took them a while to clean the tables. Gotta love the fact the waitresses go around shouting the number with the order they are carrying. Our waitress was horrible. We asked her to bring us more coffee about 5 times and never got it. Finally we asked another girl to get it for us and did it. People from one table had to share the sugar dispenser with the table next to them. Ugh. how much worse can this get?
Overall.the only ok thing was the pancakes. Not good enough reason for me to come here again though.

Today was dedicated to car maintenance. Since the guy who delivered my rotors ended up bringing the wrong ones, there was excess time to be killed. I got hungry. Char Broiler was less than a 5 minutes walk from the shop.
Entering this joint, it was scattered with the Santa Ana locals who eyed my suspiciously as I walked on by. Why is there a little Asian girl coming into our joint? I must admit, I felt a little out of place. The tables were kind of dirty. Not super gross, but not clean. The cup prints from previous customers were all over the table and the cleaning residue was unappealing.
Now for the food. I ordered a BLT and a Sprite. In all honesty, it feels like I waited about 20 min for a BLT to go and was disappointed with the amount of time it took to assmble some Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato between two hunks of bread. Seriously people? Taste wise it was okay. A bit disappointed that there was no option for wheat bread, but I suppose it’s acceptable.
I won’t be returning to this joint. 4 bucks for a BLT. To some, that may be a great price, but to me, a total downer.

I am not sure if I was desparate for food, had a sense of adventure, or was out of my mind when I dropped into this place. I like dives, on ocassion. And this place is one. It didn’t help that I was dressed to the nines for a family event that I was supposed to be at.
The staff was friendly, but the place was just busy. They had 3 short order cooks on the grill, and half the tables hadn’t be bussed. I changed my order to to-​go because it started to take a while. When they did pick up the leftovers, they didn’t bother wiping down the tables, and people were still sitting down. While I was waiting for my order, a guy bumped into me and then commented that I am the one that should watch where I’m going. Where’s my taser?
I had ordered the chili burger, fries, and a Coke. I was so rushed that I didn’t look at the over 30 or so different menu items to see half the Mexican food staring at me. The chili burger was nicely cooked, slightly burnt on the edges, but not enough chili. The fries were steak fries and freshly made. Crispy on the outside, meaty and soft on the inside.
I might have to come back just once to sample their breakfast or Mexican food. Only once.
