One of the best food trucks around! Bomb mexican food! Prices are very reasonable. 10 people ate for $ 55! Beso de monja is a fave! Huge ass quesadilla loaded with cheese, asada and ham! One sope covers your entire plate too! Generous portions. Excellent service!

Nice, finally went to a local food truck in Santa Ana, and it did not disappoint. I like the salsa storage area on board. Got the Gringo Taco for $ 5, no cheese, and it was delicious. Fresh, loved the avocado portion, and every ingredient added to the flavor. Next time I definitely want to try the $ 1 street tacos, but the Gringo Taco is one big loaded plate and I was feelin’ ravenous :)

The Lengua Gods have blessed me to be able to find Valhalla the moment I sank my chompers into the perfectly tender lengua from La Carreta. Dear Lengua Gods: thank you for all you do for me, for women, and for food.

Super friendly and cheap!!! There are 4 sauces and I think the best one is the yellow one! It looks quite different but tastes amazing!!!

Love how you can still find $ 1 tacos in 2015. One of the juiciest, freshest tacos I’ve eaten!

Best tacos hands down. Amazing price for the best flavor anywhere! Their salsa cabinet is always fresh and Got a good kick! Not for sensitive tongues! I love it! We got 4 carne asada tacos, a carne asada quesadilla and a gordita! All for $ 10.50!!!

Outstanding, tasty tacos for an incredible price of only one dollar. The flavor jumps in your mouth and the spice is appropriately measured. The el pastor is just tremendous with a little bit of crunch to add to the texture. On the side of the truck there is a cabinet with salsa that comes in four levels of spice and each really add zip depending on your tolerance level. The dark green was the mildest and just fine for me.

I ordered their 5 $ carne asada burrito; this place is the real deal, all fresh natural ingredients low sodium, healthy and good for you. Who would pay nearly 8 $+ at any of the local fast food places with terrible ratings when you have this amazing local taco truck ! The female cooks are sweet and it’s just like mamas cooking here.

Two words: cabeza tacos. I’ve been coming to this truck consistently for a year and considering it’s located a 5-minute walk from my place and the food is so good and so cheap, I believe it’s safe to say I’m putting the owners’ kids through college… one cabeza taco at a time. What do I normally order from here? If it’s not a cabeza taco, then it’s a chicken taco… or asada taco or carnitas taco. And I’ll usually order 4 – 5. Why not? At a dollar a piece, it’s a steal! Sometimes the boyfriend will order 4 tacos and a plate of something else, like the gringo taco, sope, or quesadilla. They even serve birria and menudo if you’re hungover. If you’re not sure what to get, stick with something familiar(like 5TACOS – try one of each). Don’t be turned off by some sort of communication barrier. I’ve lived in Santa Ana my entire life and I know maybe 3 words of Spanish. But you know what, one of those three words is TACO(as well as ‘gracias’ and ‘hola’). That’s all I need to survive. But seriously, they speak English as well, and the owner is usually there to take your order and he’s very nice. His wife is pretty sweet too! I usually order my food to go but a lot of people tend to mill about the truck and enjoy their meals there while watching a telenovela on the TV. Yes, the truck even has a TV, a flat screen at that! If you do eat at the truck, please be respectful and don’t litter! The owners of these food trucks work hard to make excellent food at very, very reasonable prices and if the patrons start to litter, the city will likely get involved and do something drastic, like revoking their food licenses or something. Look for a green food truck – can’t miss it! And remember to try the cabeza taco!

Not only am I a fan, I am obsessed fully with their carne asada! I will go here and get 4 tacos on my lunch all the time, also I live right down the street so this is our hangover spot as well! If you like al pastor(adobado) get«La Gringa» for your first trip not only will you fall in love you will find yourself back here to try everything else. I will warn, the burritos are not the best so I would suggest you skip the burritos here while here.

The truck has bright ghetto lights. It’s parked by a small liquor store. So they get most of their Business by drunk guys. Food isn’t great at all. They also have bad service. I placed my order and the man working the night shift was rude. He was basically yelling at me. So, if you want better food. Just go down to carls jr.

*Today only 50% off everything*. I’ve drove by a million times, but that deal called me in(I can’t pass on deals @ least ½ off)! I shared 4 tacos so we can sample multiple:(Asada, pastor, cabesa and chorizo… supposed to be chorizoqueso, but they forgot my cheese. They were also out of fish and shrimp, so they lose a star cuz I’m a cheese/fish/shrimp-head). We also shared Torta Cubano(Delicioso)!!! They have multiple other plates(unsure of prices) and other tacos($ 1 — $ 1.50). Choose from 4 hot sauces, marinated onion stuff(located on side door next to ordering window) and/or limes(request only). I hope they have deals like this in the future(and/or get on Groupon)…I’ll definitely return for that Torta then!

This place is the Sh$t! No joke! I almost don’t want to let anyone else in on this place, but I also want it to stay in business for selfish reasons! Anyways! Back to the food! They have a large selection of authentic plates. I ordered a Sope that was so tender that fell apart as I was eating it. At other places they are hard as a rock or stale because they microwave them. Every dish is unique and offers it’s own sauces and flavors.

Tacos here are great! My family and I have been coming here for that last couple months. They have a drink called ‘sebada’ and it is delicious! Most of the tacos are $ 1. This taco stand jas raised there prices on most of the tacos. The only reason this isn’t 5 star is because the chirizo here os not the best and the asada is sometimes seasoned too much.
