We had a party of 4 come here this past weekend & we came at the right time! There was nobody in the restaurant(so surprising after reading some of these reviews). We ordered two of the 3 meat 3 cheese breakfast burritos & the steak egg sandwich. The sandwich was AMAZING. The bread was hot when the sandwich came. Super fresh & the meat was very flavorful. The burritos were massive! You have the option of making them spicy too which is good if you love spicy! I thought the burritos were a little overwhelming. There’s so much going on in every bite. I loved it, but it was a little rich after a few bites.

Just be prepared… this place can be addicting! Never been the type of person that goes for breakfast burritos but DAMN this place rocks. :D So delicious and everyone I take there falls in love. When I have people come in from out of town i make sure to take them for breakfast one day. Those hash browns… oh my gosh! Staff is so nice and accommodating whenever possible. The young man that usually takes the orders is always a sweetheart!

This place has the best breakfast burrito. I usually get their 3 meat breakfast burrito and tell them to put extra jalapenos. They cook the eggs just right so that the yolk and fall apart and mix with everything inside the burrito. Oh and the size of it is no joke, expect a big burrito :)

This is my weekend spot for an after hike bite to eat. Been here many times and finally thought a review was in order. Food is always great, but I tend to stick to a bacon, egg, cheese sandwich on sourdough. Guy who takes the orders is always friendly and efficient.

Burrito so fat, you can see it through the bag! I instantly became a fan after having a three egg three meat burrito, be sure to get the eggs over easy! Talk about a burrito done right and the best part about this place is the quantity does not replace quality! After a few visits I eventually opted for the pastrami and three egg burrito with over easy eggs! I could easily eat this twice a week and honestly I don’t even like breakfast! I wish this place had better salsa and maybe a chipotle aioli. This review is going to result in me setting an alarm 30 minutes early tomorrow to grab one for breakfast.

A little sketchy of a place on the outside, but don’t let that discourage you into trying this place. I LOVE breakfast burritos and this is THE spot for them. There is very limited seating here so I would suggest taking your food to-go. I have only gotten the steak breakfast burrito. I love the crispy hash browns in this burrito! Its loaded with steak and eggs and tasty salsa. The next time I come, I will definitely be adding avocado. Also, this burrito is just as good served cold the next day.

This hidden jem was suggested by two of my Unilocaler friends, so it must be really good! A friend suggested that I order the Philly Cheese Steak Breakfast Burrito with Avocado and so I did! First of, I must have gotten lucky, my wait time for my food was less than 10 min. The ambiance was good and the staff was super nice! My burrito was huge, I mean HUGE! definitely great portion and for the price. It was the best breakfast burrito that I’ve ever had, I’m not kidding. My first bite was amazing, from the flavor, texture and the after taste. My first thought was mmm good and what was that crunchy texture? It was the hash brown that was cooked to perfection, crispy as it should be. OMG. When I got to my 3rd bite it was the egg yolk and breaking all over the inside the burrito, which totally hit the spot! Total foodgasmic. :)

I was hoping for better quality. I’ve been here twice. My first visit was for breakfast burritos with my close friend before we headed to LA. I ordered the 2 egg/hashbrowns/cheese burrito and I was super disappointed. The eggs were runny and making the tortilla fall apart. I cannot stand runny eggs, and when my friend asked the lady about re-making the burritos to fry the eggs all the way through, she gave us an annoyed response saying, «This is how they always come. Next time you should tell us you don’t want runny eggs». Okay, fine, but where does it say that in the restaurant or on the menu?! I also thought the burrito was 90% hashbrowns and 10% egg. I would normally be okay with this, but the hashbrowns are bad. They are super dry and straw-like. My second visit was better, but still disappointing. This time, I decided to get a sandwich. I had a craving for sandwiches after going to a popular chain in Northern CA and was looking for a place similar. I got the turkey with cheese and avocado on a roll and added my toppings. When I got home and ate it, the avocado was really brown. The lettuce was soggy and old. In my opinion, there was too much bread. I will say, though, that the sandwich was huge and well-priced. I really wanted to like this place because I feel like there is no sandwich place decent in Irvine around UCI.

Small whole in the wall breakfast spot! One of the best breakfast burritos I’ve had. We ordered the chorizo spicy burrito. It was pretty massive so we ended up sharing it. The egg in the burrito was just right with the yoke running inside the burrito. The hash browns were crispy and not soggy like most places. I’ll definitely come back to this place! This is a quick hole in the wall place that everyone should go to! It’s right by my place and wanted something to eat after a day of cleaning. It’s literally on a corner and the sign is quite faded. They do have another side walk sign, but… just follow your gps. So many choices, I didn’t know what to get! They have quite the variety and unique varieties to that matter. I have seen all the pictures that other Unilocalers have posted, the burritos are humongous! I definitely couldn’t finish it, nor didn’t I want to put that many calories in me, hehe. i decided on the pastrami breakfast sandwich with squaw bread, but I accidentally didn’t say«breakfast», so they gave me the regular pastrami sandwich. I didn’t mind at all because it was delicious. I brought it home and ate the whole sandwich in a few minutes, hehe. Definitely go there for some great sandwiches and burritos, even though I haven’t tried it. The tiny plaza have decent parking and there are seats inside and outside if you want to eat there.

Get ready to eat your fill for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their breakfast burritos are huge and packed! I got the Nate’s favorite, and my bf got the pastrami breakfast burrito. Completely different in taste. COMPLETELY. Nate’s favorite is stuffed full of everything they found in their kitchen and taste more like lunch than breakfast. They have peppers, hash browns, eggs, an assortment of meat, beans… it definitely has the mexican feel to it. Also, it’s spicey so if you don’t like spicey stuff than be careful how much extra tapatio sauce you add! Now, the pastrami burrito is, according to my bf, the best pastrami burrito he’s ever had. You get the runny-ness of the eggs, the crispy-ness of the hash browns, and the salty-ness of the pastrami. The pastrami comes in thick slabs so it reallyyyyy fills you up… Don’t be fooled by the look of the place. Not exactly the cleanest, and they don’t even have a real sign outside the building — they have a super faded banner instead… are they even real place?! But, the food is solid and worth it.

Meh, I’m unimpressed. I had Nate’s Favorite, with veggies, hash browns, salsa. It was supposed to be spicy but I didn’t think so. I wish they gave you a side of salsa because it was pretty dry. Also, it was supposed to have cheese but I’m almost certain there was none in mine, hence why it was too dry. My burrito was also rolled weird because the avocado was clumped to one area only, so only a couple bites had avocado. I thought I had maybe gotten the wrong burrito but my bf didn’t like his either. He got the 2 meat/2 egg breakfast burrito with sausage and was also unimpressed. It wasn’t bad but for a place that gets raved about having the best breakfast burrito, it didn’t live up to the hype. At least the prices were reasonable and the portions were large. Still, I won’t be back.

Neight’s Korner probably has one of the best breakfast burritos of all time. I usually pass on the hashbrowns with breakfast burritos, but at Nate’s Korner, it’s a must. The potatos are cut thinner and give their burritos added crunch, almost like you are biting into stacks of bacon or potato chips. I had the vegetarian Neight’s favorite, but tried the bacon and sausage also which were really good. You might want to plan on taking your order to go as there is not much room to eat here.

BEST. BREAKFAST. BURRITO. EVER. But seriously. Coming from Santa Barbara where a standard burrito 1⁄3 the size of a chipotle burrito is around $ 8-$ 10, I could cry tears of happiness with the burritos Nate’s Korner has to offer. For $ 8, you get a burrito that is arguably bigger than a chipotle burrito stuffed with so much I would def recommend sharing with another person!(But I’ve heard they’re amazing leftover too so just get one for yourself ;).) It’s mainly the potatoes that blow you away. They’re so crispy and wow my mouth is drooling just writing this. Get the three meat burrito you won’t regret it! Or maybe you will if you’re trying to eat healthy… Service is so so friendly! The lady who works the cash register is so nice and she’s great at remaining calm with the crazy line that comes in during business lunch hours. I would want to try their sandwiches on their menu, seems like a lot of people were ordering that for their lunch! Seating is very limited, it’s more of a Togo kinda place and, oh, the sign is SUPER faded. I don’t know if they did this on purpose to really show people that they’re a low key joint, but I guess they don’t have to worry about fixing the sign since there’s so many people who remain loyal customers.

If you’re the kind of guy who likes to prop open your mouth with a stick while another guy shovels food into your mouth like he’s stoking the fire of a steam engine then this is the right place for you. I had high hopes when i walked into the place and saw that despite it being in an almost abandon looking strip mall it was packed full of customers. Then i noticed all the Detroit posters on the wall and thought. «Hey I’m from Detroit, maybe this will be real good» so i ordered one of my favorite all time foods, the Pastrami Rueben and a side of fries. Well, the picture here doesn’t really do it justice but what you are looking at is at least 2, maybe 3 entire large russet potatoes worth of fries… I should have put in a banana for size. And when i pulled them out of the greasy paper bag they were in i almost vomited because of the smell. Some kind of burnt rancid oil smell like they haven’t cleaned their fryer since they moved here from Detroit. Or maybe they imported some of that authentic Flint Michigan water, not sure. and to top it off. No friggen salt on the fries! Then i took a bite of the Reuben and immediately knew where all the salt went. Needless to say i barely made it through my sandwich before bagging the rest and finding the nearest trash receptacle.

What can be better than meat, eggs, potatoes, jalapeños, all wrapped up in a tortilla? The breakfast burrito… oh how I love thee. And on one of those days where I sit and scour Unilocal for good places to eat, I came across Nate’s Korner, who is famous for? You guessed it, breakfast burritos. First impressions: I was super sad. I pulled up to the korner ;) and waited at the light. But when I looked, the sign for Nate’s was all faded, as if they us closed. I double, triple checked Unilocal to see if there was any note about this place closing. But to my great fortune, it was alive and well. 2pm in the afternoon, and there was still a line. The place is small, a typical small deli looking place with a few tables on the side. It’s not the cleanest looking place, so maybe not a first date kind of spot. Or if she’s down, she’s a keeper! Now for the important stuff: the food. This may be one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve had. It’s filled with this crispy fried shoestring potato, large pieces of steak(or whatever meat you choose), grilled jalapeños(if you order it spicy), and this thin onion grill with some kind of hot sauce. The best nuance that separates this burrito: the fried egg. That’s right. Not scrambled. He egg is this fried to over-medium perfection so that you still get some of that runny yolk mixed in there. It’s wrapped in this chewy tortilla that is the perfect vessel for this behemoth. And this thing is big… like bigger than chipotle burrito big. A short opinion on size, my dear Unilocal friends. Most places if they get the taste right, there just isn’t enough of it. If you get the size right however, the flavors can get very monotonous by the end. To achieve the perfect balance of size and flavor, of quantity and quality, my good friends, is one of artistry, nay, mastery. And Nate’s has mastered it. The only thing I would say that would enhance this burrito is that since there’s such a large portion of thin, fried potatoes, a bit more sauce would be helpful to bring it all together. But even without, this is one worth going for. Kome one, kome all! Kome be a kool kid at Nate’s Korner!

Best breakfast burrito I ever ate! I ordered the three meat(ham, bacon and sausage) burrito. There’s meat, eggs, cheese, salsa and hash browns inside of the burrito. I love their hash browns because they were on the crispy side and not mushy. One burrito is enough for two people to share!

Wasn’t sure what to expect when I walked in but after getting my bacon breakfast burrito(that bacon tho, they hooked it up) and taking the first bit I was like yes, this is how you make a breakfast burrito! None of that healthy skimpy stuff, if that’s what you’re looking for only come here on cheat days then. The only thing that kinda sucks is the parking situation if everyone is feeling hungry at that moment parking can be rare, but ppl are in and out a lot so just wait a few minutes, someone will be walking out anytime with a pep in their step, the burrito has that effect.

If you’re on a diet, this is definitely not a place for you, but for everyone else who loves carbs, meat, and cheese, you’re in the right place. A simple no frills joint, Nate’s Korner is a dude’s deli serving comfort food for the masses. On my recent visit I shared a 3 meat, 3 cheese sammy on squaw with my mom and it was definitely a hearty and filling meal. For a tasty entrée at a reasonable price point, I would definitely return. They’re known for their massive burritos, so I think I’ll hit that up on my next visit. :)

This would be a really really good place for hungovers or after a night of fun, but too bad they only open till 4pm. It’s located in a random plaza kind of in the middle of no where, with a liquor store to its left and a coffee shop that looks closed for a while to its right. That imaginary pretty much sums up the atmosphere of this place, so don’t expect anything fancy. Their breakfast burrito is really really good, just like how you’d imagine a typical break burrito should be — lots of meat, eggs, hashbrown, and hot sauce in every time, but also alot of grease and oil. This place will definitely hit the spot if you’re in the mood for something filling and hearty, but you’ll be disappointed if you’re looking for something healthy.

Just went here for the first time last week and freaking loved it. We demolished the 3egg/3meat burrito as well as the steak sandwich. We called in our order, picked it up 20 minutes later and we’re in and out of there. It was really busy if you’re just thinking of stopping in for lunch so I’d suggest calling in ahead of time. My hubby and I came to Nate’s Korner based solely on the stars and check ins. We were looking for a good Reuben. I didn’t realize Nate’s was famous for their breakfast burritos! I’ll leave a review for that when I stop in next week. We had the Reuben. It was served piping hot, piled high with pastrami cooked to perfection, tangy sauerkraut and melted swiss on toasted rye. If their sandwiches come in 2nd to their breakfast burritos, I can’t wait to give one a try!

Nate’s is a hole in the wall, with only four tables inside, but don’t let looks fool you. This place seriously serves the best breakfast burritos in OC. Maybe some of the best in Southern California. Nate’s is so good that celebrities like Jessica Alba eat here, and however healthy the culture is in the OC, it is completely surpassed by the rich flavors of Nate’s cuisine. If you come to Nate’s, please, for the love of Nate fans everywhere, order the breakfast burrito. The secret is that Nate’s wraps your delicious eggs and meats with with crispy hashbrowns. Crispy, delicious, perfectly cooked hashbrowns! My boyfriend always connected with the owner who we found out is from Michigan, a fact that’s unsurprising when you realize how hefty and big the breakfast burritos are. Anyone from the Midwest, or who loves breakfast food, will love this place. We used to live across the street from Nate’s and be regulars who’d frequent this place often, and truly, we miss it so much!

Every once in a while you come across something so good that you can’t stop thinking about it. That’s what happened this past weekend with the 3 meat breakfast burrito from here! Seeing all the reviews we knew this place had to be good. This place i known for their giant breakfast burritos so that’s what we got. I split the 3 meat burrito which came with bacon, sausage, and ham and it was filled with eggs, peppers, and of course the famous super crispy has brown potatoes! Everything about this burrito was fantastic from the huge size to the evenly distributed fillings, and of course the crunch that you got with each bite from the potatoes. You can make it better by getting salsa on the side(costs extra) or making it spicy with the addition of peppers. This place gets packed since it’s so popular! This has to be my favorite breakfast burrito of all time. Def worth the hype!

3.5 stars rounded up to 4. Rounding up or down is like a professor giving your 89.9 a bump up to an A– or keeping it at a B+. Perhaps giving 4 stars would be giving it too much credit, but giving it a 3 would be not giving it enough credit. Ben and I decided to give this place a try because we were early for our church service and it was a mile from our church. It’s definitely a «hole in the wall» that’s not really a hole in the wall. We ordered the chorizo burrito. Oooh it was SO good. We thought their burritos would be the BESTDRUNCHIES food — you know, the typical cheesy, oily, carby, meaty goodness — IF they were open until 2 – 3AM! But alas, they’re only open until 4PM. On the other hand, it was extremely oily and I had oil drilling off the bottom of my burrito. Their hash browns inside were definitely not what I expected as they were thinner and crunchier than typical hashbrowns. But love the eggs, loved the chorizo. And I wish the cheese was more melted because melted cheese is better than half melted cheese Overall, I don’t think it’s as large as I expected. If you want some big burritos, check SD out ;) it definitely would’ve filled me up, but I heard a guy talking about splitting his burritos down to two meals, but I don’t think I’d be full from half the burritos. TIPS: — get a handful of those tapatio packets if you can. They really bring out the flavor: P Side note: they must’ve read that review last week when someone commented about the workers not wearing gloves because they definitely had gloves on! Just I saw a guy refill the coffee, open the door to the kitchen, and go back inside to work… with the same gloves. getting there…

I stumbled upon this place when I stayed the night in Costa Mesa this past weekend. My cousin had been in before and said whenever he is in the area, he has to go in and support this spot. This is a mom and pop deli operation. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we were confident we got an assortment of stuff to try. Hands down BESTFRIESEVER. I could not stop eating them. You can taste how freshly made they are. I told them it reminded me of the fresh fried potatoes my grandma used to make for me as a kid. So good! If you are debating on whether or not to get them… GETTHEM! My favorite item we got was the Pastrami breakfast sandwich on Squaw and I added avocado… Of course I did. So delicious. It was still steaming hot when I pulled it apart. Wow, so yummy! We also got a 2 egg and 2 meat burrito. We chose ham and bacon and all the burritos come with crispy hash browns inside. Genius idea, Nate. In addition we also got a Nate’s favorite burrito that had some peppers and other jazz added it. I preferred the simpler breakfast wrap but both we very large and filling. No skimping here. Lastly we tried their chili with cheese and onions, and guess what? On point. There was not much seating inside but this place was cranking. Everyone seemed to be taking their food to go. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service in a little strip mall deli. Will be back.

My favorite meal of the day is breakfast and growing up in SoCal breakfast burritos were the thing to eat since I was a kid, so I’ve had hundreds of breakfast burritos from all over and I have to say that Nate’s breakfast steak burrito is the best I’ve had! It’s simple, but amazingly good! And like what most Unilocalers have said, the crunchy hash browns is what makes this burrito stand out! Every bite has a crunch to it, so if you like crunchy things then you’ll love this burrito. The location is close to the 55 and 405 and down South Coast Plaza so it’s easy to get to, but you may not even realize it’s there because it’s in a tiny unassuming shopping center with a vinyl banner as its sign. Just remember it’s the only center on the corner of Sunflower and Main. Tip: For you tea drinkers, they keep their tea bags in a small box on the ledge where the chips are. The guy at the register wasn’t even sure if they had any or where it was when I asked if they sold tea.

So, the breakfast burrito has good flavor, but I would be surprised if it has two full eggs in it. It was 1 part egg, 2 parts ham, and 10 parts crispy potato stuff, not hash browns, more like crispy string potato. It’s good, no doubt, but the size of the burrito is mostly potato. Also, they serve it with Tapatio packages and when I asked for actual salsa, it was like I was trying to get a free soda or something. He’s like, «it’s in the burrito». Would not give me salsa. One last thing, I know the whole«divey» thing is in, but torn up upholstery metal chairs just looks dirty, not appealing.

It’s astounding, I can’t even do it justice. If you come here, the breakfast burrito is a must have ! But I have tried another menu item I didn’t like, but no worries. Because I knew coming in that they specialize in their burritos Service(5 stars) everyone is SUPER nice and sweet. I love the guys here ! This place is definitely in a little corner. I dropped by for their breakfast burrito I ordered the two meat/two egg burrito with bacon, sausage, hash brown, cheese, and salsa. I felt like it was good since they cook their eggs not like scramble eggs in the typically breakfast burrito more like a over easy but there’s like way too much hash brown in the burrito. I feel like in portions of hash brown to meat/egg I got more potato not sure if the three meat/three egg would be better or not. The spicy isn’t that spicy I wish they had there own spicy salsa instead of hot sauce. Service wise they are so nice and welcoming. You grab your own drinks here when you order.

This spot is definitely off the beaten path a little bit as it’s in an isolated part of Santa Ana in a tiny center that’s next to a produce field. Working in the area sometimes you want a breakfast burrito to start your morning off right and a few days back I was lucky enough to find this on the local feed with a quick tap of the bookmark it all began. Not really knowing what to expect I almost passed Nates as I couldn’t really see their faded sign only the liquor stores next door! After a second or so I realized that was it and walked in and immediately saw their huge breakfast burritos being served up packed with all kinda yummy goodies hot off the grill. Keeping it simple I just ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon and sausage their spicy way of course, and wow that was definitely the right choice as it didn’t need any salsa to make it spicier since it already had a yummy spice kick to it! The burrito was filled with bacon, sausage, eggs, jalapeños, cheese, and their super yummy and crispy hash browns! The hash browns almost tasted as if they were fried because of how crunchy they were even with everything else in the burrito piled over them. The breakfast burrito as a whole was huge and very filling it can definitely be shared with two people if your feeling in the sharing state. The burrito was a bit spicy but seem to have a hit of garlic to it not sure if that was because of some of the jalapeño salsa that was in it or if they all come like that either way the burrito was super delicious and definitely hit the breakfast spot! I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before I venture back here to satisfy the breakfast needs with a delicious burrito filled full of everything that they have to enjoy!
