I was automatically turned off my the loogies the dishwasher was hacking up. Where was he spitting them? So gross. Needless to say, I didn’t eat here.

I work in the area so I knew it existed. Nothing to crazy on the outside to let you know its an actual food place but it is a nice hidden gem to those who work in the buildings near by. It seems to always be packed at the normal lunch hours 11 – 1 but plenty of seating inside to accommodate. They do have a T.V. too for some entertainment on your downtime. The staff is always nice! They have so much to offer when it comes to the menu. Salads. Sandwiches. Plates. Mexican food. Also a variety of beverages, chips, snacks, ice cream! The sandwiches I have ordered have always been fresh and delicious! I always order to go and its packed nicely and comes out quick. It is cash only so be sure to bring a $ 10 if you want a meal!

I found myself down in the area randomly, and I searched for a sandwich shop, this place came up. You would hardly know it’s there, in the middle of a business complex, where you wouldn’t expect a restaurant to be. The owner(I assume) was super friendly and helpful, with lots of smiles. I got a pastrami sandwich combo meal, the french roll was outstanding, I don’t know if they make them in house of not, but it was great. The pastrami was good, not the amount of meat you normally see on a pastrami sandwich, but they do have a double meat option, you you can beef up the sandwich that way. They have a bookshelf with books to read, and a big old tv playing tv shows from the 80’s. No real décor to speak of, just good food from friendly staff. They had brownies on the menu, but were out of them, I’ll try again if I find myself in the area.

I’m still amazed that I’ve driven past this place hundreds of times without realizing it was there. Unless you’re looking for it, you won’t notice that it’s a restaurant. It’s a nice little corner spot. I’ve only been here for lunch(well I guess most people have only been here for lunch). I’ve had two very different meals here — A veggie sandwich and veggie soup, and a Philly Cheese Steak with double meat and fries. Both times the meals were very good and satisfying. The veggie sandwich everything was fresh and had the right textures, the soup was okay. The cheesesteak was tasty, and they make pretty good french fries. Price is very reasonable, plenty of parking, quiet enough so you can go and sit and eat in peace. They also have a cooler of ice cream, it’s a good lunch spot for locals and all you could really want from a business center lunch joint. If you work near by it’s worth going to once to try out. It is my go to sandwich place now.

Delilah and french fries for the win! If you get the Delilah, be sure to get it on the french roll(best bread ever) and add mustard, cheese, onions, and peppers to add more flavor to the already delicious sandwich. It is seriously the best. And get a side of ranch for your fries — their ranch is amazing! The owner is the nicest lady EVER and serves you joyfully. I work across the street so I always get it to go because the décor is a little plain, but who needs décor when you serve delicious food. Everyone at my company loves this place. They are CASH only which is annoying but it’s worth going to the atm first. I crave this place weekly!

This place is hidden away in plain sight. It’s right on Harbor Blvd., and I’ve driven past it hundreds of times, but I’ve never seen it. The inside décor is «interesting». Someone else here said it looked like a college common room, and that’s a good description. I was very pleasantly surprised at how friendly the owner was. She was eager to make my order exactly the way that I wanted it. I had a sandwich and the bread was sooo fresh, and the meat and veggies were fresh. I’ll definitely be back.

I am seriously concerned about the cleanliness and hygiene of this establishment. I’m writing this review after my third time eating here, and it will be my last time. This place is across the street from where I work so its a convenient location which is probably why I gave it three chances. The first two times the owner walked through the dining/sitting area carrying large filled trash bags collecting used napkins and throwing out leftover food into those bags(no gloves) before going to the dumpster through their back door. I’m nut sure if that is correct protocol for health regulations. Also there seems to be a blind eye turned to transients soliciting customers for change and handouts here since it occurred the first two times I was there. This third time, however, there were a couple of roaches running around iby the side of the wall. When we pointed this out to the owner he replied«Those aren’t roaches, they are beetles» and walked off. Regardless of what kind of insects, they shouldn’t be freely walking around in the dining area where customers are eating… and they were roaches, I know what they look like. The food itself is nothing spectacular, I would rate it a couple of level below Denny’s quality. They accept cash only.

Came here with someone who frequents this place for lunch. He said it was his little getaway. Not going to lie, I was pretty weary when I saw the place. It’s very nondescript and you would never see it on the street. However, I was promised that the food was good. I was pleasantly surprised at how good my bacon burger was. The lady who took our order was friendly. Our food came out super quick and it was cooked to order. The burger was thick and the fries were crispy. I was shocked. The staff here is so friendly! Great hidden gem. No frills but the food is awesome. Cash only.

Pinehill Sandwiches is a glistening Oasis in the desert of shit that is Santa Ana. Good honest diner /café based food served in strange surroundings that somewhat bring to mind a cross between your Granny’s front room and a college common room. The owner is a joy to behold as she takes your order with the biggest smile known to man and asks you questions about your life and home which are neither intrusive or annoying, like such questions from strangers can often be. It’s a shame I shall never come here again because I would rather climb a mountain of nuclear waste than ever set foot in this part of California, but it was beautiful while it lasted.

Things to get here: 1: French fries(they’re the best fries around) 2: Delilah sandwich on squaw 3: chicken teriyaki plate 4: breakfast burrito 5: Mexican coke in glass bottle. Super friendly owners. Hole in the wall. Seriously, get the Delilah and fries.

Super nice people. But seriously, horrible food. Iceberg lettuce, dry chicken, processed cheese on a wrap with ranch dressing? I’ve seriously had better food from a convenience store.

I dropped in here for lunch based on the reviews of others and I was not disappointed. As others have said, the service was fast and very friendly. I ordered a Philly chessesteak with fries. The fries were cooked perfectly, lightly brown and piping hot inside. The Philly was delicious and was a great sized service for for lunch. The restroom was clean and well maintained. This would be a great place to bring a group as they have plenty of large tables This isn’t a fancy place but it’s great for what it is.

This place is like a hole in the wall. The food is delicious and the price is cheap! I decided to try this place with my coworkers and it’s definitely a great place for lunch. I’ve only tried the Delilah sandwich with a side of french fries and a basic burger with a side of fries so far, and they were all really cheap, especially the burger. The basic burger with fries costed $ 5.65 plus, this meal was large enough to be split into 2 meals! I definitely recommend this place, it’s cheap and a lot! But remember to bring cash ’cause it’s a CASHONLY place!

Went to Pinehill today! Another successful lunch! I’ve been coming to this place ever since I started working for a nearby company. It’s been close to 11 years now and I’m still a fan. When I first came here I used to order the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich all the time. I’m afraid of change so if I find something good, I will only order that for eternity. Feeling adventures one day I decided to try the Delilah(turkey, bacon, avocado, tomato & lettuce on your choice of bread), I’ve been hooked ever since! I wonder if it will take me another 10 years to try something different? Anyhow, their food is good here! Portion is ginormous so come hungry! I have noticed that their prices have increased a bit but eh, the food is good enough that I don’t mind paying. What does drive me crazy though is the fact that they don’t take cards here. CASHONLY! Drives me a wall every time! Get with it people… still love you though lol!

I’ve been here a few times and liked it but my service today. Convinced me to share with others how great this place is. PROS Plenty of seating indoor and a few outdoor seats. Decent prices for the amount of food compared to others in the area. Always parking. Quick Service. Clean. CONS It’s cash only and no ATM. They have burgers, sandwiches(and hot sandwiches), salads, soup, Mexican food, rice dishes with steamed veggies. I recommend the Delilah: Turkey, bacon, avocado, tomato, lettuce, on a ton of different kinds of bread. I’m definitely going back for the vegetarian next time. The turkey was stacked!, The avo was fresh and the tomato was just right! The lady was helpful and patient with me not knowing what I wanted. They brought out napkins and a tray and ketchup and even tho I said no mayo they put it on the side. Or maybe that was ranch. I didn’t open it. I don’t know. Ha ha. She came out and took my food to put it a to go box in a brown bag AND took my cup for a refill. I was in a phone call and smoking so they were just really helpful to me since I couldn’t go inside and ask for both! I really like this place. And would recommend it to everyone especially since they serve so many different kinds of food! Oh yeah, they also serve beer and breakfast!

They deliver to my work which is excellent for meetings. Average sandwich shop, basic stuff which I enjoy. Good price for what you get. I’ve been to some pretty nasty cafes which are typical in the area. This is not one of those

just your average mom-and-pop eatery. very close to work for me which is why i went here. it’s pretty decent for a quick lunch, as it’s never crowded and service is fast. cash only. i got a teriyaki chicken bowl for about 5 bucks, but when i got my food, it wasn’t a small bowl like you’d expect, it was a regularly sized takeout foam tray; so i was pleased that i got lots of food for not a lot of money. as for taste, i’d say it could be better; it’s nothing special, just a basic combo of steamed rice, chicken, steamed veggies, and sauce. they have a sandwich menu, a burger menu, a rice bowl menu, and a mexican food menu, so lots to choose from(which is nice, but i guess they chose quantity over quality). I’ve only had their teriyaki beef and chicken bowls because they’re so cheap, but i saw some people who ordered off their mexican menu and it looked tasty so i might try that next time
