Rite Aid

I’ve been a childhood supporter of Thrifty’s ice cream like I’m sure many of you have. Last night,
however I was victim to some of the most dangerous, disgusting, and ridiculous food-​handling practices EVER on Thrifty/Rite-Aid’s behalf. I was eating a double scoop of Pecan Praline/​Mocha Almond Fudge (ironically, which I actually mentioned in a post earlier on how I couldn’t wait to enjoy after getting home from a long weekend of work) when I bit down on a large metal lug nut of sorts. I REPEAT: I BIT DOWN AND NEARLY SWALLOWED A LUG NUT FOUND IN A CUP OF THRIFTY’S ICE CREAM I BOUGHT THIS PAST FRIDAY!
This is absolutely and very seriously a TRUE STORY that I would not want to make up in my wildest dreams because, again I like many of you, have been a supporter of Thrifty/​Rite-​Aid for as long as I can remember! I am bringing this to your attention to warn you of the unsafe food-​handling practices of Thrifty/​Rite-​Aid and to speak out about an imminent danger that can happen to any one of you and lead to fatal consequences! THANK GOD I was blessed to not suffer this time. It is absolutely incredible that this could take place anywhere along the line in the food-​handling process! And, absolutely important that you share this post and this act of negligence toward a long-​supporting customer.

I am spreading the word through ALL social media outlets of my crushing disappointment and fury, and to warn people of the fatal danger that I faced-​that you too could very well face even from something as fondly-​kept as Thrifty «Award Winning Old-​fashioned» Ice Cream.

This is one of my favorite drugstores. I come here mostly for makeup’beauty supplies && for their fresh delicious ice cream always coming up with new flavors so good ! Lately ive been on a hunt for my revlon precision clear lash adhesive && it was sold out for months good thing i stopped by today and grabbed the last one shit is sooo good it runs out quick ! I recommend it 100% better quality than high end adhesives and very inexpensive all this goodness for only 4.99 ! It comes with an ultra thin brush, dries clear, mess free aplication, WATERPROOF && LATEX FREE for my sensative ladys !

It’s open. But super slow helping people. Only one cashier. I had enough time to write this review and I’m still waiting. Hopefully I get helped soon haha.

The customer service is ridiculous and unprofessional! I would give them no stars if I could. No one was at the cash register and the employees were on the floor texting on their phone and sipping on their coffee. It took them about 15 minutes to get their register to check out a long line of customers ready to pay. Just go to CVS across the street.

I always shop there.

I like the place because it has everything I need. The biggest pet peeve: This place has been open for years and gets pretty busy, management always decides to put one register who is extremely slow. GET WITH THE PROGRAM GET TWO PEOPLE ON REGISTERS!!! People want to get in and out! Closing at the time it does doesn’t help the customers. You would expect a drugstore to be operating late for last minute emergencies.

Rude service. Lazy workers. I asked for coconut pineapple ice cream and the manager said there is none, but I was looking right at it in the back of their freezer. Talk about lazy. I had to use my pocket flashlight to shine at the backup boxes of coconut pineapple sitting in the back. Also, at the checkout the cashier ignored me for a long time while talking on his phone. What a horrible place!!!

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever experienced. And the cashiers are personally rude. Once told me my choice of products was «gross».

Okay, as if a review about rite aid is gonna change someone’s opinion on going there right? This is like any other rite aid. There is delicious ice cream and cheap snacks and shampoo. The cashiers are super slow and there are at most only 2.
The only reason I am writing a review though, is that I saw a bag of pee walking out of it today.
That is all.

I don’t have to say a whole lot but, the store is very convenient u can get ur medicine to ur booze her. Some items are cheap m others aren’t as much. And lines can be long they can definitely use more cashiers. Employees are that bad some have their moments like every one but they seem that their willing to help if u one needs help.

Ghett-​O!!! They have what you need… but you will need to stand there for quite some time before the one worker they employ to run the whole place finally gets to you! I save going to this place when I am visiting a friend that lives walking distance, and I have some how ran out of something that I desperately need!

Super convenient considering I work pretty much right next door to it. Almost always has what I need, and the ice cream obviously is delicious!
…but the one thing I have to complain about is the pharmacy. Seriously, if I’m going to a Rite Aid pharmacy, I would expect to be helped and not feel rushed out of the building! Literally every time I come here, the pharmacist I speak to acts like he/​she doesn’t have enough time for me, rushes me through talking about my medical concerns, and seems to give me whatever Rite Aid-​branded medicine they can think of in less than 15 seconds.
After writing that review about the pharmacy, I’m taking away a star. Sorry, Rite Aid, you get a 2 from me. Thanks for being my destination of choice when I need a midday work break, though!

Ghetto.
This is the trashiest Rite Aid I’ve been to.
Items are on the floor, kids are running around with no parents in sight, frozen items are sticky and oozing, the bathroom is disgusting and I could go on.
At least the employees at the cash register were decent.

Just another typical Rite Aid. Nothing special about it.

This rite aid is not any more special or worse than any other regular store in the area. But it does have one little secret; they always have a great deal on beer. You can often get a 12 pack in bottles for around $ 10-​$ 12. That’s a steal! Especially when «Alaskan, Sam Adams, or their Red Hook» are on sale. For that alone I have to give these guys a ⁴⁄₅!

I should start off by saying that I don’t ever come into Rite Aid to shop for items. I come here for their delicious ICE CREAM!!! The ice cream obviously get 5 stars from me but the business as a whole only gets 3 because of their lack of adequate floor coverage. Mind you, every time I stop in to grab some ice cream I don’t mind waiting in like as I devour my three scoop nomnomnom fest but I just wish it didn’t take 15 minutes to check out to pay for $ 2 ice cream.
I will say that the employees have always been very nice and apologetic about he wait. That in itself earned them a 3^rd star from me. :)

After a late night at Lola or Memphis or both, and crashing on a pretty comfortable couch, you wake up and there’s no more Diet Coke, booze, or cigarettes. What’s a girl to do? Walk across the street and stock up. Rite Aid is rad, they have everything from nail glue to Jäger [on sale sometimes!], and of course ice cream for those really hot days/​fat kid moments. Sure the lines are sometimes a little longer than you would like, but it beats having to get in your car and then driving somewhere, then trying to find parking on Bush again.
Thank you Rite Aid, you’ve soothed many a souls with your location and massive alcohol selection.

I can see it off my balcony
It is the the fridge I never had
Storage at its best
The staff is always nice/​quirky
They have the best selection of transvestites on a Saturday getting ready for a night out
yes its a huge corporation but its comforting to know that I have everything I need at all times and its there whenever I want it
my online banking shows that I spend like 20% of my money there
I think that if it were to go away so would I
Who knew a 20 dollar DVD player and a movie in would mean true love for rite aid and me
its nice to count on something
