The new management is horrible. Just went to get a small salad with salata mix and kale and toppings. I literally walked back to where the dressing was and returned to find that they literally threw HALF my salad in the trash. Then lied about it as if I didn’t see him put everything in the bowl. There was barely any lettuce left and just three, yes, THREE leafs of kale. The SMALL container was half full. Plus they have raised their prices. NEVER going back. They were better closed.

So I’ve been back since the last review — convenience is a strong motivator. They’ve gotten better at not skimping on the veggies and I appreciate that. Still pricey but, really, what isn’t these days? And it is a decent sized salad that tastes as good as a salad bar can really get. Anyway, will likely keep going back based on the convenience factor and will just ask for more if i feel like they’re skimping. :)

Management is a lot better now! Salads are yummy and the staff is friendly, well except for Blanca she’s a bit of an over achiever lol. If you guys could just add a tad bit more veggies to my salad, I would very much appreciate it! Other than that, I love Salata!

I was having the tomato basil soup today when I have noticed that the plastic silver spoon, Salata provides you with, turned from silver to black. Seems that the silver coating of the spoon melted in my soup. I believe melted plastic in your soup most likely leads to cancer. It seems a huge health hazard to me to provide cutlery that melts in the soup they serve. Be aware!

I was very impressed with their options and pleasantly surprised at the vegan choices. I will definitely eat here again.

This place is very good and has a TON of topping options for salads or wraps, I just feel that it’s pretty pricey so that’s why it gets 4 stars and not 5! I’ve had their salads here and they are great, but I’m more of a wrap guy! I typically get a wrap with lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, chicken(they have 4 different kinds), ranch, sometimes bacon and avocado in a wheat tortilla. I love all the options they have here but at times it can be overwhelming. The wraps are pretty big and very filling and come with some good chips they make. They have 3 different soups and I’ve had the creamy tomatoe bisque and it’s very good! One time I got a wrap, soup and a drink(they don’t have fountain sodas, just few different bottles/teas) and my total was $ 16 – 17! So now I just stick to a wrap, no drink or soup and it’s $ 9 – 10! Definitely check it out if you’re a healthy calorie counter eater, all item options have a calorie count next to it.

Good, but expensive. Tons of choices! Some highlights: sliced almonds, tofu(extra charge), kale, egg. Tasty dressing. All you can fit in your to go box for $ 8.

I really did love this place for a while. I go there every day because it’s the healthiest option nearby. The supply issues with certain chickens, dressings, and pumpkin seeds is an issue that should be fixed. Lately, the chicken is really chewy and seems to have diminished in quality. It’s expensive. Recently used a coupon that said buy one salad get one free. There’s no expiration. The manager accidentally forgot to apply the coupon and then decided it was worthwhile to try and make us feel bad like he was doing us a favor anyway to accept an expired coupon(which I know for a fact said it does not expire.) I’m a loyal customer so that kind of attitude turns me off.

I love their salad! It is amazing and I am soo glad that I work near Salata because I might be going there weekly for their salad! Just go you won’t regret it! The only thing I am sad about is that it is only opened Monday-Friday! They need to extend their hours!

I used to love getting salad here before they closed and reopened. I used to drive all the way from corona just for these salads. I went today for the first time since they reopened and I was extremely disappointed. The employees all seemed to be in a huge rush and it made ordering difficult. They only put about half the amount of toppings that they used to. Today I asked for bacon and they didn’t give me any. The ranch tastes different and not nearly as good(maybe it’s just me?) If you’ve been to this salata before and loved it, don’t go back. It’s not the same :(

I liked this place when it first opened. With the new reopening I am no longer impressed. Firstly, a salad with meat is $ 12. Think about that. With a coupon on the internet, I can go to Souplantation for $ 8 and that includes a drink and it is buffet style, while just as fresh. The only thing this has going for it is convenience, it is right next to my work. That being said, they no longer have the rewards program where you buy 10 get 1 free(which was a great incentive to come back). The last time I gave them a try I started my salad, kept on going until we got to the dressings… no ranch. «Where is the ranch?» «Oh we don’t have ranch today.» WHATPLANETDOYOULIVEON?! This is southern california where people put ranch on their ranch. YOUSERVE S A L A D S! People in Southern California 90% of the time put ranch on their salad. How badly could you fail? If this were a proper business, they would have gone to Costco and bought tubs of it there just to stay afloat for the day. So when all I saw was honey mustard and vinagerettes, I said«Well that changes my mind about wanting the salad» and I left. There was no sign on the line about there being no ranch. They just wanted to wait until I got to that point and guilt me into taking this half-made already salad. Not for $ 12 am I eating a salad that I don’t want. Honestly, if he just handed me the salad anyways and said«Well this is going in the trash anyways, would you like the salad anyways on the house» I would have appreciated the gesture(considering it was even the manager who was serving me). I would have accepted it was a one-time fluke and come back. Yet, seeing as they watched a customer walk out AND threw a half-made salad in the trash, they wasted their money and lost a customer. Done with them. I can get a salad at rubios or togos next door, so it is just not worth it.

They promote their ingredients are fresh. Half the romaine lettuce in my salad was completely NOT fresh at all. @ $ 12 for a salad, I expect it to be fresh.

Excellent, just excellent. I had a salad wrap that was absolutely fresh, healthy and delicious! You create your on wrap or salad bowl with a huge array of options. They have every single thing you could possibly want. My wrap and a salad came out to about $ 23. Not cheap, but not bad either. And I most definitely will be returning. There is a parking lot for the little strip mall that Salata is in and it’s pretty conveniently located. There’s limited seating inside and a few tables outside as well. The store looked very bright and clean. I’m a fan!

They’re back!!! Thank you Salata for re-opening this location! Most salad veggie toppings are limitless, fresh and delicious. From there you can add your protein at extra charge and they have vegan proteins, too(falafel, baked tofu, quinoa). Extra charge for avocado and artichokes. Don’t get scared, yes your salad can be about $ 8 — $ 15 depending on how many extra toppings you choose. Trust me, I eat a salad everyday and if you’re eating a salad in a restaurant of this quality and size, you cannot beat this bargain. Most salad bars are $ 7 – 9 per pound and they don’t come close to the variety or size offered at Salata. My salad typically lasts me for two meals(lunch and dinner).

Claveat: not worth driving out of you way for… esp. for the parking lot. It’s a nice place to get a salad. That’s pretty much all you have here, and its a very basic dining room, geared more towards take-out. You go to the back of the business for the start of the line, and then start with choosing a little bowl, big bowl, or a wrap. Then you choose the ingredients like those modern pizza joints. I had a wrap, which I noticed they warm up right before wrapping. The staff have a good attitude and kept keep the line moving along, not an easy task considering the types of ditsy people you’d expect from a salad-only dining place. I tried their artificial crab, which they charge more for than chicken. It was pretty good, and I’ll probably get that next time. The chipotle chicken and the southwest tortilla didn’t impress me at all but it was my first visit. I feel comfortable enough to know this is pretty much how its going to go on future visits.

The salads here were just not that good for me. They basically give you the option to make your own salad, using any of a number of ingredients they have available. For me though, it was just a glorified version of Souplantation, except for this one you can only go through once, and you pay about the same price I believe. The food wasn’t all that good, the dressing was so-so. I didn’t find anything unique or interesting about their salad options and I wish they had come up with more interesting pre-made combinations that they knew worked, rather than just putting everything there to choose from. The place is located near the Indian place and starbucks in the plaza where Rubios is at.

This place appears to be closed… a bit surprising, but not shocking. I thought the food was great and the concept was a total winner. However, the service was horrible. I cannot imagine that the owner or investors were aware of how bad the service was. Fresh food and an inviting menu apparently did not overcome grumpy and listless service.

I went today and it was CLOSED… indefinitely, per Corporate. So now people can quit their whining. :) That said… yes this place is pricey but the serving is generous, even if it IS just a salad. Ingredients always taste fresh and flavorful. I’m not sure why people are so touchy. I’ve been there several times and the staff is always super friendly. The manager is just ok, he’s not rude but he’s not super nice, he’s just polite and quick.

I went there for my lunch break with my husband. My husband is a athlete and he is always on diet, so I thought that salata was the best salad choice around the area. I liked that you can create your own salad. It has a lot of choices, from toppings, dressing, greens and proteins. The service in General was very good. I don’t give a 5 star because the staff there putted way too much dressing on my salad, I think they should go easier on that. In general it was great and we are definitely going back whenever we are dieting again.
