I just had another massage by Brenda, and let me tell you, I am a fan! Working in the spa industry for 9 years and being an esthetician myself and meeting a ton of massage therapists, she is the only massage therapist I go to. First of all. She’s so sweet, her prices are very affordable, she is a very sought after massage therapist that only select high end spas are lucky enough to have her. She goes above and beyond and Im so confident in her level of expertise and service that I send all my clients to see her for massages and they rave about her! Brenda is a Santa Barbara hidden gem that you should be so lucky to have found. I highly highly highly recommend Brenda at Château Belle.

I have been going to Noelle for haircuts since I moved to Santa Barbara seven years ago, and she is truly amazing at what she does. I was always hesitant to dye my hair, but she convinced me to get subtle highlights about a year ago and I am SO happy with the results. What I love most about her though is the care she puts into each and every one of her clients– every time I sit in her chair, I walk out of the place feeling beautiful inside and out. She books up fast, so make sure you schedule an appointment ahead of time if you work 9 – 5!

Gabby is the best! I make it a point to come and see her for my color, hi lights, and cuts when I’m in town. She’s a natural at cutting and styling short and long hair. It’s hard to find someone so intuitive with thick hair.

Grace is fantastic! She colored my hair using my favorite line of products (Davines sp?) and gave me one of the best short haircuts I’ve had in years. She’s incredibly gentle and pleasant to talk with. Her attention to fine details and the look of concentration on her face is that of a true artist!

Beautiful Salon, I always feel so pampered when I come. Gabby is great, I’ve gone from dark brown, to ombré, to purple, to baylage and back to dark brown with deep conditions in between, and she never disappoints! my hair manages to stay healthy and vibrant despite all I put it through thanks to Gabby! She always delivers exactly what I ask for, she’s def my go to gal!

I realized that with just 8 days till my due date I was going to have to find a way to get rid of my leg hair. Being 5’5, 9 months pregnant, and coming in close to the 200 lbs mark it’s been awhile since I’ve seen my feet no less been able to shave my legs. Brenda was a rock star! She cleaned me up no problem. The space is warm, friendly, and clean. She was quick, painless, funny, and able to work around my inability to lay on my stomach. I feel clean and ready to face the big day ahead of me. Thanks Brenda.

BRIDAL HAIR & MAKEUP: Noelle is a true artist. She and her team did the hair & makeup for my bridal party and I this past weekend. All ladies were extremely pleasant, easy to work with, and listened to our ideas and visions for the looks we wanted. I usually wear warm-​colored makeup due to my skin tone, but since I was the one in the white dress with the silver accessories, Noelle suggested silver & cooler tones be brought into the makeup instead of gold. Though I questioned that decision at first, I am so glad I followed her suggestion! Everything turned out so beautifully; I couldn’t have hoped for any better! Also, I showed Noelle a picture of the hair style I wanted, and she recreated it perfectly! I would suggest Château Belle to any bride-​to-​be who is looking to have both hair & make-​up done. And the most convenient part: they can come to you instead of you going to the salon! So much fun! :) Thanks so much Noelle & team!

I just got my hair colored by Brian at Château Belle and love it. It had been close to a year since I had my hair colored so it was a mess! Brian was non-​judgmental and professional. He assessed my hair and got going on making my hair new. We shared what was going on with our lives but I didn’t get the sense it was idle chit chat or any awkward silences. Brian is a color genius. He picks the base color and highlights that enhance my face color not wash me out. Brian was at another salon and I followed him here because he’s that good! If you are looking for a sweet, kind, knows his stuff hairdresser, Brian is your man!

Grace is the best! I have been getting my hair done by her for well over 8 years, and she is fantastic! She is current on all the trendy looks and cuts and I appreciate her talent and honesty. She really wants you to be comfortable with your hair in a style, and does not push anything on you, which can be really annoying at other local salons.
The ambiance here is pure relaxation, and I really think this salon is one of the best in Santa Barbara. Thank you Grace, you are the best when it comes to my hair!!!

Noël just created a beautiful updo for me for a Victorian themed wedding. She was incredibly sweet and enthusiastic and the updo came out great. Due to my own poor planning, I made an appointment only a couple of days in advance, which I do not recommend. These folks are busy and for good reason! I very much appreciate them getting me in on short notice.

Noelle is a magician. She brought my hair back to life. She did a color correction on some hot spots from my highlights I had done. She blended my color perfectly and did a very subtle ombré look. It looks so shiny and natural. My hair has never felt softer. My old haircut did nothing for me. Then Noelle worked her magic and gave me the exact haircut I wanted from a pic I brought in. Now it has amazing movement and bounce. Thanks Noelle!

Noelle and her team get it for sure. It was our first encounter with the salon, Noelle and her team. The salon is inviting, products great, and the team fabulous. There was a bit of a goof up on our end with scheduling for a trial for an out of town bride and they really worked to make it happen. Would highly recommend the salon and their special events services.

My best friend is constantly coloring her hair. I’m usually okay with my dark, long, virgin hair, but after scouring Pinterest with her trying to find her next hair color, I got itchy feet, checked Unilocal for salons in Santa Barbara, and found Château Belle. I quickly filled out the form on CB’s website, and that same evening, I got a call from Zoa.
My appointment was flawless. I told her what I wanted, and she delivered. When I got home later that night, I sat in my room wondering if I went too bold and ballsy and ended up texting Zoa a few days later with full intentions of paying to make the balayage highlights I added a tad more natural. She reeled me back into the salon, toned my hair, added a few low lights, and surprised said, «It’s on the house. I just want you to be happy with your hair!»
In addition to being a generous, professional, and skilled stylist, Zoa is also one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. The conversation was completely natural and warm. I generally hate going into salons, because I am terrible at small talk, but Zoa makes getting your hair done extremely pleasant.
I would 100% come back again (and plan to come back!) in the future. :)

Victoria Secret hair! I just had my hair cut and colored by ZOA and I am absolutely in love with the long layers she gave me. The layers are just the right length to give me extra volume. The color is fantastic and it feels soft and healthy.
ZOA is a wonderful hairstylist and she makes an effort to check in with her clients to ensure they are happy with everything a few days later.
Château Belle’s stylists there to make you happy and know how important customer service is. I just love coming here!

My girlfriend had her hair dyed by Kita and it turned out just how she wanted it to look. Kita took her time with everything, from mixing colors to applying it and demonstrated that she loves to do what she does. The place itself has a relaxing and professional atmosphere to it. No complaints whatsoever.

I had an appointment last week with Noelle for a hair cut and when I arrived I was told that «she had gone for a walk» and their was still a client in her chair. I waited while the front desk person repeatedly tried to call her cell phone and one of the stylist even sent a text but no reply. After waitng for 15 minutes, I left and actually passed Noelle on the way to my car. She was so engrossed with her coffee and conversation with her friend that she did not notice me.
Time before last I had to wait 30 minutes for her to finish up with a previous client. There are too many good stylist in this town that do not have the time management issues that Noelle has, no matter how pretty the salon is.

Love this salon! It’s super close to work, everyone is very friendly, and the environment is relaxing and spa-​like. I haven’t gotten a cut here, but Stephanie has done fringe trims, color, style, and makeup for me and she’s always done an excellent job. She’s definitely a perfectionist!

I’ve had long locks for quite some time and wanted a change. I cut it in a bob about 2 months ago, loved it but was still itching for something «More». I made an appt with Amanda last minute and she was extremely supportive and helpful with my hair musings. We were initially just going to spice up my bob with more layers and shaping, but something inside just kept screaming shorter, shorter, short, pixie short! Amanda definitely felt that vibe too and encouraged me to follow my instincts. I feel like other hair stylists would say, well lets try it this way first and if you still want to go shorter we can set another appt later to do that. Which is the safe way to go, but who wants to play safe??? Not I. So we went for it. Which really excited her because she got to be creative and get all up in my hair. She was confident which put me at ease. No one likes a tentative, unsure hair stylist, yo. AND she always has a bomb deal going on which is mandatory to getting new clients and keep your old ones coming back. If ever there is a financial issue she always work with me. She truly cares about her clients loving their hair and not how much money she makes. Thank you for making sweet love to my hair; it is absolutely ahhhmaaZING. It’s going to be so easy to take care of, looks trendy and funky, but super low maintenance which I’m all about.
As for the salon itself, it is definitely a gem in Santa Barbara. I look for spaces with character and warmth. Most salons in town I find are stark and modern, which is cool for some folks. Château Belle is gorgeous inside, it’s all about the attention to details. Gorgeous mirrors, high ceilings, beautiful décor and showcasing jewelry/​art from many local artists, which is key! Go spoil yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

After being neglected at a local salon on the Mesa, I asked the Starbucks baresta, with a darling haircut & great color, who she saw. This led me to Bree Wilcox, who I’ve been seeing for cut/​color for the past few months.
At my first meeting, she asked me to bring pictures and spent alot of time talking about colors and styles that would work well for me. Every time I see her she is so professional and conscientious. Its obvious that she loves what she does, and wants you to be 100% pleased.
I am thrilled to have found Bree and will definitely continue giving her my business!

Noelle styled my hair and did my make up for my engagement pictures — I was pleasantly surprised at how great it turned out!
She made my skin look flawless even with a giant blemish on my chin. My hair and makeup looked so fantastic after three hours of shooting in the rain that I didn’t want to take it off that night!
I’ve hired the team to do the hair and make p for my bridal party and can’t wait to see how beautiful they look!
