Heels on the Ceiling

Cheri is an awesome instructor!
I myself am a dancer, and came to experience Heels on the Ceiling with a rowdy Bachelorette party. She allows (and encourages) you to BYOB and even bring your own music. Perfect for the occasion, right ladies?!
The class itself was a lot of fun. Our class was held in martial arts studio near downtown Santa Barbara, and though it sounds odd, Cheri was able to turn it into the perfect intimate and private sexy setting for a pole dancing class.
Cheri was able to demonstrate and teach us how to do sultry and seductive moves in such a fun and easy way. And thanks to the alcohol, we were all able to pick up, mimic, and attempt everything she threw at us.
I highly recommend Cheri for a night of fun and sexy time with the ladies for any occasion calling for such a good time.

The studio is kind of random — a marital arts studio in SB that she rents time from. The poles are retractable but totally safe.

I actually thought I had done a review of this place already. But anyway, a group of about 10 of us had a birthday party here about a month ago. I think the instructor is named Shelly? The «studio» is actually her livingroom. She has 2 removable poles, hard wood floors, and mirrors. It doesn’t sound like much, but it was actually quite appropriate. We provided our own music, and were welcome to bring drinks and snacks. The party was supposed to last an hour. I politely left at the end of the hour since that was all that we had paid for. However, the guest of honor and a few other guests arrived late and stayed late, which I guess was okay with Shelly. She was really very nice about it, either that or she was outnumbered and smart. We had a great time. We had a chance to try out several moves pretty much as many times as we wanted. You would think with 2 poles we would be fighting over them, but not the case at all. Somehow it works. And a really nice touch, one of her poles was the petite pole, for those of us with smaller hands. Now the floor moves, I think that’s where Shelly lost our attention. I don’t blame her for that, as she is a former professional stripper, so she must know what she’s doing, right? But I think it was more of a cultural thing. No makin’ it clap, no drop it like it’s hot, kinda hard to keep our attention prowling around on the floor like a drunken kittycat. Simply not our style, nothing personal at all. Unfortunately for us in the bay, Shelly mentioned moving away, I think to Santa Barbara, really soon. But if she wasn’t moving, I’d recommend her place for a party if you have a small group, like maybe 6 tops.

This is a super fun experience! I have always been a little leery to go to a public class… so when I saw this site and realized that it would be a more private experience I though «I gotta try this!». Booking was a snap and I was responded to in no time. The instuctor is awesome. She is very knowledgable and makes you feel at ease immediately. The class was a blast and I learnt a ton… plus my abs feel stronger already. Would highly recommend the experience.
