Christina is amazing and I highly recommend her! I am so happy I discovered her and she did such a great job on my hair The salon is great, everyone is so nice and friendly with a great atmosphere!

JODI is by far the BEST hair stylist I’ve ever come into contact with. I’ve been seeing Jody for over 5 years and even though I currently live in San Francisco I still see Jodi every time I’m in town. Jodi does the best color highlights of anyone I know. I am truly thankful to have such an amazing stylist like Jodi in my life.

¹⁰⁄₁₀ worst hair cut I have ever had. Highly considering shaving my head because that is the only thing that will save this weed whacker hair cut. Unless you want to look like some unfortunate character stumbling out of a 90s sitcom, AVOID this place at ALL COSTS. The staff is nice enough but super outdated on trends and themselves have pretty lame hair cuts. Just trust me don’t go here

I got a haircut with Jeane and she is wonderful! She cut my hair exactly as I asked and she did it quick. She shampooed, conditioned, then styled my hair and I was out in about an hour. I would definitely love to get another haircut by her when I’m back in town.

Jodi Steinmann gave me the worst haircut. Usually good stylists are at Mira Bella but I would avoid Jodi. I have thin, limp hair, shoulder length and she used thinning shears throughout my hair, resulting in the bottom 3″ of hair becoming wispy, thin, odd stings of hair. Who would use thinning shears on thin hair? Jodi’s skill level is poor. I had to go to another salon and had to cut it so short, just to create healthy ends. What a disaster. I even asked her what she was doing with thinning shears and she responded that is how she creates texture. No! Thinning shears make thin hair even thinner. My normal lovely wavy hair laid flat on my head, with about 50% of the volume (and hair) removed. What stylist would do that? The stylist who gave me a corrective cut couldn’t believe it.

I have been getting manicures and pedicures in Santa Barbara for 6 years now, I have been to many nail salons. My experience with Ann at Mira bella was top notch, by far the best. Not only is it a killer deal and perfect nails but also such a pleasant atmosphere and overall experience. It isn’t one of those over crowded places with 10 chairs and everyone in a hurry, it’s a single chair and very relaxing. Ann is very sweet and my hands and toes have never felt better. I highly suggest making an appointment and seeing for yourself. I am a very very satisfied customer. ps she also offers waxing :)

I really like Mira Bella. I’ve been going here for 5+ years and they do a good job for simple haircuts every time. They are good at listening to what you want and then doing it, they always manage to get it just right. For the past couple years I’ve been seeing Jody, and love her!

Never have I ever wanted to voice my experience like I do now. I will never go back here. I received the worst Brazilian wax of my entire life. I have had many Brazilian waxes and I have never left so disappointed.
Unfortunately my usual Esthetician was booked, and I took a chance and went to Mira Bella Salon & Spa. HUGE MISTAKE! I was kept in such an uncomfortable position for so long that my neck still hurts. She made me feel uncomfortable, by being completely silent, and not being very clear with any of her instructions.
She took over an hour, which in comparison to my last wax was LESS THAN 30 minutes TOP! I left this place, and still had hair, which totally defeats the purpose of getting a Brazilian. I kid you not I just went home and did the job myself.
I truly feel you should NOT have to pay, for a service so inferior. Waste of TIME and MONEY, for sure. Take my advise and don’t make the mistake I did, you’re better off doing your Brazilian yourself than coming here.

Horrific experience! I got a Brazilian wax and it was terrible!!! I have gotten many many waxes and never have had such a bad experience. I went there because my lady was booked until after the new year and they had a deal going on. The lady went over each area 3 or 4 times and it took over 45 minutes! I left with wax still all over and still so much hair! I went home and shaved after; I get a Brazilian so I don’t have to shave! I would never EVER recommend going there for a wax and will never go back. I am mad how bad it was and that she still had me pay for it! Terrible!!!

This place is outstanding! First and last time I got a brazilian at some hole in the wall place I was floored by how awful my experience was. I came here after getting the groupon for the brazilian, and was so surprised by how welcoming everyone was, even with the groupon (sometimes places get snooty if you have one). The place is beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable. I even booked my appointment that morning I got the groupon. I had Becky and she was wonderful! I told her about my bad experience and she did everything possible to make me comfortable. She was even giving me more tips about other skin care during my wax. She was really thorough with her job, and left nothing! She talked to me the whole time too to distract me, so thank god! This salon is amazing and I definitely plan on going back!

Mira Bella salon/​spa has an amazing staff! They all truly care about making their clients happy and exceeding their expectations! I was more than happy with my services here & despite the negative comments they all work very hard to satisfy everyone. Not to mention they have reasonable prices which is a plus!
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great service and amazing hair! :)

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and i went here with a group of six other women on the day of the wedding to get hair and makeup done. The woman who did my hair (I have extremely long hair) was incredibly fast, and amazing at any sort of braid style. She made my hair look like a cross between rapunzel and a celtic princess. Everyone was incredibly satisfied.
My makeup artist was a little foundation/​powder-​happy, but I told her I wanted my makeup to look natural and she toned it town quite a bit. The only disappointment I had with the makeup was that there wasn’t a uniform look with the bridesmaids, but everyone looked amazing, so it wasn’t too big of a deal.
One word of caution: DO NOT get a manicure here. The ladies are amazing at what they do, so it’s generally not a great idea to ask for things that they don’t specialize in. The bride got her nails done the day before there and actually had to go to another salon to get them re-​done because they were so awful. But to be fair, they don’t list that as a service for this salon, so don’t expect it.
Also, they were great with the two little flower girls we had in the party, and were very gentle and sweet.

If you are a guy looking for a hair cut, stay away from Christina, even tho she’s friendly you are looking for a hair cut not for a $ 40 quick chat.
