This place is always good but must say the SB location was the best Patxi’s pizza we have had so far.

Okay I’ve been to Patxis in San Francisco and the food is very good. The food is very good here as well like close to great. Top notch pizza. Only thing is in San Francisco and here in Santa Barbara service isn’t great. Sat down and every waiter and waitress in the place walked by and smiled but only after I asked did someone offer to serve us. Sort of comical. I guess I have a friendly smile but I need to the face that says please let me freaking order. All n all a 4 outta 5. And when I say San Francisco I’m talkin about the sunset location mostly. I’m calling you out Inner Sunset Bog. Service ended up getting better at the end.

I love this place. The pizza is so tasty and the whole ambience is perfect for beer with friends, pizza with family, pizza/beer with your dad, beer with your co-workers or all of the above. Ashlyn was my server last time and she was just awesome. She knew the menu and was super friendly. I’m here as we speak haha. Keep it up Patxi’s.

First time going here and was actually super excited since being from the bay area and loving zachary’s, I had to try Patxi’s deep dish. I ordered it for deliver which took close to 90 mins which I totally understand the pie takes time to cook. Well the driver comes and totally had the worst attitude ever, and forgot the cheese and pepper flakes. As for the pizza, besides the hiccups, the flavor was amazing and a spot on Chicago deep dish. I will definitely have Patxi’s again, only next time dine in.

The first time we had Patxi’s it was not the best experience. My wife and I decided to go here with a gift card. The problem was we were very hungry and had our 2 year old son with us. We did not realize 1) that the pizza we ordered was going to have the sauce on the outside or 2) That it would take so long to cook. Had we known that we would have had an app. We did come back a second time and we were more prepared. The found is excellent and the sports bar atmosphere is also great. I would definitely continue to eat there.

This is the perfect place to head down to anytime or day of the week. There is an inside/outdoor bar for those that drink to hang out and watch the games. I went this past Sunday night for one of my best friends birthdays. There was 10+ people there and we were all taken care of well. The only down part is I figured like other restaurants there would be a dessert of some sort brought out for the birthday girl. Other than that I recommend everyone in Santa Barbara to check this place out! Ps. The pomegranate juice is amazing. Seriously.

The ambiance and layout of the restaurant is very chill! There’s an outside/inside bar which is super cool. We ordered a deep dish pepperoni pizza which does take a while to come out but it is WELL worth the wait! There’s also a few local condiments that are included like spicy oil and honey to dip in the crust(excellent by the way). We also ordered a plate of the artichoke dip. We were highly impressed because they give you unlimited bread slices to dip!!! The only downfall is the service was a little slow. We’d still recommend!

I’m from Chicago, and I used to work at a Chicago style pizza restaurant. I have high standards, and this place exceeds my highest expectations. The pizza was just the way I remember it in Chicago. The service was excellent too. I used to have to drive all the way up to Zachary’s in Berkeley to get legit Chicago style pizza. I am thrilled to now have this place in my own backyard. I’m surprised it took me so long to find out about it. Concerning the negative reviews, most Californians don’t know the first thing about Chicago style pizza, so they have a negative experience when it doesn’t meet their expectations of what a pizza is supposed to taste like. Chicago style pizza is more like pie than it is like pizza. It is very dense, and you normally can’t eat more than two slices. So while a large pizza comes out to 40 bucks, each piece is the equivalent to three slices of a normal pizza. Working at a Chicago style pizza place I know it is not uncommon for the large pizzas with a lot of toppings to come out cold in the middle. I read some reviews that said this. This did not happen to my pizza, however, it does happen from time to time because it’s such a thick pizza. It’s no big deal, you just send it back and the manager will probably give you a discount.

Omg the pizza… The pizza is amazing! My husband came here during his bachelor party weekend and could not stop raving about it. We live in LA, and finally we decided to do a trip so I could see what this was all about. Amazing!!! I def recommend the pesto deep dish and 100% you need to try the honey on the crust. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Pizza better but by luck I want to like Patxi’s but the service is still not up to par. The pizza is good if it arrives hot. I’ve been a hand full of times now since opening night. The atmosphere is cool, I’m not into the TV thing but there are plenty if you are. I love sitting at the bar and looking out, watching State Street roll by. The pizza is good too. When it arrives hot. And there lies the inconsistency. Four of us were seated at the bar, looking out. Ordered some pie. One Favorite(signature deep dish style) was delivered to the bar and sat there. Another Favorite was delivered at which point the only bartender in and full bar of 23+2 kids hands the family with kids the pie that sat and the fresh came to us. It was hot and delicious. Poor family. It all came down to staff. The single bartender was struggling(68 seated guest and the 23 at the bar) The other couple I dined with orders their second round of beers when the pizza came but the bartender forgot about us. After flagging home down, he apologized and poured but did not acknowledge or offer my companion and I a second round. We finished the pizza with empty beers and still no offer for more. Perhaps he’d have more time if he weren’t constantly flirting with the blond server. Every time she approached a bar station, he was right there and they would chat, ignoring his duties. My salad came out before the pizza and was finished before the pie arrived. No big deal. But the plate was never cleared. I’ll keep coming here for a beer during happy hour but with 1 out of 4 deep dish pizzas hot, I’ll dine somewhere else. Sadly.

Really yummy pizza!!! Boyfriend and another couple enjoyed 2 pizzas and 2 bottles of prosecco here. Outdoor breeze was lovely and really happy upbeat inviting atmosphere. We all had a lot of fun and I definitely recommend this spot to others. PS: the honey on the pizza was out of this world good!

We ordered a half Alfredo/half custom pizza(deep dish). The crust and dough on this pizza was the highlight for me. Great stuff. The Alfredo I rate a 5 out of 10 and the custom(sausage and veggies) I would rate an 8. What was wrong with the Alfredo? 1. Felt dry — couldn’t taste the Alfredo sauce 2. Too much garlic 3. Did I mention it had too much garlic? In one slice of the Alfredo I counted 15 garlic cloves. The only good thing about the garlic was that the pieces were huge and therefore easy to pick out. I usually have no issues with garlic… but I hate biting into whole pieces. The menu said the pizza would have roasted garlic on it… I just didn’t think it would be as much as it was. Anyway, aside from the garlic overload this pizza is great. And heck, if you love eating whole garlic cloves maybe this experience would have been heaven for you. I preferred the custom pizza because it had an insane amount of marinara sauce(which was awesome).

No way to beat the pizza here… We stopped in on game day, and couldn’t be happier. Wine was reasonable in price and the game day happy hour pizza/salad combo is really good for the $ The service was spot on, and we had an unsolicited visit by the manager… he even delivered our food to help out our very competitent waitperson Hunter… you should sit in her section. On another note, we were happy with the inside seating, and, the lack of background noise was much appreciated. Suggest you give it a try, as this will be out go-to spot in SB when we are here.

After shopping, stopped in for lunch. Greeted by a server who said sit anywhere I please so I wandered in on my own to find where I wanted to sit… opted for the bar for faster service. The patio was too busy. Anyway, at the bar I got both air conditioner n outside breeze. Win win. They’ve spacious interior, full bar and a decent patio area. The bartender/my server was great. Super friendly and fabulous. I ordered the meatballs and half size Greek salad n fountain coke. Was the perfect lunch, the salad was as it should be! Lots of olives n everything. The meatballs and marinara sauce were soooooo good. The bread complemented the dish perfectly. They’ve lunch specials like the personal pan size pizza with regular garden salad for $ 9.95. Extra cost to turn that salad Greek. I’ll try the pizza next time.

Great new spot on State Street and the last 7 months. Has an excellent selection of craft beers and a happy hour from 3 to 6 daily with $ 4.00 any draft kind craft beers plus other food specials. Have not eaten here but the beers service and atmosphere is very casual and nice. Definitely will be coming back and I will be trying the pizza.

The pizza was meaty… OCRE haaaa. Okay so real quick back story. ordered from here once and they forget to put my toppings in the pizza. I had ordered pepperoni and sausage and olives. guess they thought a cheese pizza with olives was sexy because that’s what I got. eh got refunded and kept the pizza so no minuses there I guess… Fast forward a couple months to today… aw man feel bad for bad mouthing this place as you get a free appetizer basically for signing up for this random app that I signed up for while I waited for my table… bus boy service is amazing at first. waitress service womp womp womppppp… we got a fake Iggy Azalea look a like or is Iggy Azalea the fake her? :O Either way she couldn’t even keep us hydrated. had to ask for agua 3x before I got it. 2⁄5 The food! Meatballs– okay, decent, decent sauce. kinda spicy. you’re kind of safe ordering this. doubt other stuff will be amaze-balls.2.7/5 Pizza…finally got the pizza I wanted and well it was ehh. nothing compared to hollywood pies. pizza felt forced. its okay.like nothing nasty but feels more of a charitable pizza. like something they’d give out a coupon for on wheel of fortune. The toppings just taste like regular old digorno toppings on a deep dish pizza. the crust is alright actually quite a bit enjoyable at times. cheese is blah, sauce a little tangy, but not too much. 2.5÷5 Their drink game is okay. angry orchard cider. been on a cider binge for the past few years haha. angry orchard is the coors of ciders. so uhmm it is what it is… I won’t come here again. unless they do pizza by the slice at 1am. so please manager don’t write to me. I just didn’t really like the place. don’t ask any questions. maybe it’s for other people but it’s not for me, it’s more of a 2.5 than a 2 though, worth trying, I guess.
