Silas Fallstich Photography

Silas photographed our Grand Canyon wedding. We eloped, so he was one of three people to even see the event. We spent a good portion of the day hanging out with him, taking photos of ourselves and the gorgeous scenery. He made us laugh, which made some beautiful photos. He knew when to walk away from us, which made for some beautiful memories. He drove all the way out by himself to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and generously allowed us to pay him much less money than he deserved. If you have the opportunity to hire him for whatever you need photos for and you pass on him, you are a fool.

Silas is fantastic. He has an artist’s eye and a very strong attention to detail. Moreover, he’s not rigid and adapts spontaneously to the changing conditions.
He is very affable and puts everyone at ease. He also is very patient. We never felt rushed and were so pleased that he took the time to meet the day before our event. It really assisted in alleviating any stress or anxiety.
Above all, he’s a genuinely nice man. He is down to earth and very approachable. He’s very direct but that’s an attribute we find commendable in a photographer. After all, you select a photographer based upon their work. You have to trust their vision. We are more than pleased that we did!
This isn’t to say that we didn’t have input, for we most assuredly did. Many ideas we had seemed like a good idea until Silas explained many concepts we had not thought of. He is extraordinarily professional.
We found his communication to be near instant and he writes in a clear, succinct and deliberate manner. That really ensures everyone is in the same page.

I wanted some pictures of my 3 year old twins. Getting young children to sit still is tough and I could see some people might get frustrated with it. Not Silas– he was calm, patient and really great with my kids. They warmed up to him really quickly and he was able to get all kinds of great shots.
He was generous with his time and totally not rushed and full of great ideas for the pictures.
His communication was excellent-​every email was answered promptly.
Then of course there are the images! Beautiful!

This photographer is amazing! Took my graduation and wedding photos and did a wonderful job with both! Can’t wait until he is back in New Mexico to take our family photos!

Couldn’t be happier with my daughter’s photos. She had fun, shot in a variety of locations, and it was hard to pick out a bad shot from the photos. I completely recommend Silas Fallstich Photography to anyone.
