I love THIS place. I really love the spicy bulgogi as lettuce wraps. The sides are really yummy too. The only weird thing is their soy sauce but I dont worry too much about it. The service is a hit or miss when we have gone but otherwise I really enjoy the food. Weird note: the last time I was there there was this older gentleman who seemed to be the owner? he would sit at the bar(drunk AF) and then go behind the register and no employee seemed to pay him any attention but I was a little scared that he would fall over onto the hot tables… idk…it was weird

The best kbbq place in santa clara! This is my favorite place! I come here 2 – 3 times a month! Affordable price and great food! Parking might be a headache sometimes but i always get lucky with front parking spots.

Great place that is open late! The all you can eat menu was good, as well as their teas.

Beque over Gen! I love the flavoring in all the selection of the meats! Especially the pork belly & spicy bulgogi! Friendly staff, clean restaurant, 4 stars only because they need more parking spaces for such a busy restaurant! Over all I’d give it a 5 star.

I’ve only been here twice but I already believe this place is GREAT, no doubt about it. Their side dishes(or banchan) that come with AYCE though, is 2 star taste. The japchae is flavorless, but you’re not here for side dishes! You’re here for meat !! Their bulgogi is seriously the best I’ve ever had. It’s tender and thoroughly marinaded. I also love pork belly and it’s so big! One order of meat is a lot! And I love it! One negative about AYCE is that it’s limited to 4 types of meat. Still, I’d come back in spite of that. The Newark Beque is way closer to my house but I’m afraid it might not live up to my expectations, so I continue to come to this location :) Oh, and their waitresses are attentive.

Yes I’m a fan! I mean for $ 14.99 for lunch all you can eat!!! this is a steal! The options are limited and the sides are tiny BUT It’ll do the job! Their marinated beef, spicy pork, and pork belly are winners here. These are your go-to’s and best bets. You may want to ask for more rice/rice paper because they don’t give enough. I think their service should be a bit quicker and a bit more keen to refills. It’s tough waiting for one person to give seconds/thirds. Their stove heats up quick so this is a plus. I did notice their grill tends to blacken after maybe 20 mins of hard use so make sure to change it up frequently. Parking here is terrible. You would most likely have to park next door to the other plaza and walk on over. I love the intimacy and small space here because it gives you a bit more privacy rather than the busy feel of a bigger store. This is the perfect place to go to if you’re craving Korean bbq on the budget but a hardy one that will leave you happy. The prices are great here, the place is clean and tidy, service is friendly, etc. I’d defintely come back!

Pretty good and better than the other location in Newark. Even though it’s traditional KBBQ and grilling at the table, I was pleasantly surprised to not leave smelling like meats. YAY! plus for that. The food is good, and once you could flag down a waiter they were quick to bring out more. They were nice to refill any bonchon we wanted and bringing bowls of rice and meats. They were also nice enough to accommodate our huge party. We took over 3 tables. Be warned… it gets busy and for $ 19.99AYCE lunch it’s not bad.. They do limit the type of meat you can order though… aka no Kalbi Parking is troublesome… Way too much going on for a small parking lot. Most the other store owners put up their own signs that prevent you from parking there. there are no other signs posted or anything. Not necessarily Beque’s fault but super annoying. If you can’t find parking… there is some residential parking in the back. They also had tv screens playing the playoff bball games which were also a plus: D I def recommend this location over the Newark one. If you haven’t tried give it a try!

This place is pretty good for a decent price! Unlimited BBQ is about $ 20/person, which in my eyes is golden… except you don’t get any Kalbi(you have to order it separate). But it was still pretty good! Anyways, went here for my birthday dinner, and the place is really aesthetically pleasing to my photographic eye. Sit down and we see that some of the water glasses are dirty. Not a great first impression, but we still have the whole meal to go so no biggie. The waiter was really nice! He seemed to be the only waiter there since it was off hours. He was patient with us and explained things in detail, which was helpful! The food comes out and I’m stunned at the amount. It could feed a small village; this was quite a bit of meat. We start the grill and cook away! Now I can’t really judge them on the quality of the cooked meat, since that’s sort of in our hands(how rational would that be, right), but the quality of the meats themselves were pretty good! Nothing old, nothing bad and everything seemed on point! We also got some Mandoo that was amazing as well! Overall, definitely would come back, especially for that ridiculous all you can eat price. AND their open late! Bonus points.

Beque Korean Grill is definitely a great place to satisfy your KBBQ cravings all the while hanging out with friends. It’s a small to medium sized shop that can seat approximately 5 – 6 people per table. Since we had a party of 10, they separated us into two tables, but made sure that our tables were side-by-side so that we can all interact throughout the night. I would have given this place a 5 stars if they offered more meat options for the AYCE, as I believe there were less than 7 meats to choose from and I’m used to picking from menus with more than 15 choices. Still, the meat options were both tender and delicious. Some would complain that the meats are served frozen and not defrosted, but I personally don’t care since we end up eating it all anyways — it just may take longer to cook when frozen. I love the standard bulgogi option because it is marinated in a sweet sauce and goes perfectly with your bowl of white rice(which, by the way, are unlimited portions, yas!). The pork belly was delicious too, but I personally thought it was a bit too salty and couldn’t eat too much of it. If you have a huge party with you, I’d suggest trying all of the meats because they all vary in flavor and texture :) Oh, and I cannot forget to mention that they serve soju here ;) The staff is very accommodating and always makes their rounds to check back on us if we needed anything. Customer service and attentiveness was great. Gen is still my favorite Korean BBQ hotspot to dine at, but if you want to beat the 3-hour wait, go to Beque Korean Grill! Thanks Beque Korean Grill for an awesome dinner!

Your go to place if you want good quality bulgogi! Waaay long overdue review. I’ve been here a handful of times and always appreciated the quality of their bulgogi here. The place is very nice, clean and modernized. For their ayce menu($ 20~ a person), there is sadly only 7 items which are mostly bulgogi ranging from beef, chicken and pork. All pretty good except the chicken. which is really bland to me. I especially love the spicy beef bulgogi and the regular bulgogi though. I also highly recommend the pork belly which is thin and delicious. It has the right amount of fatty! The banchan portions here are HUGE. I love it. I like their kimchi, cucumber and bean sprouts the most. Service was decent nothing over the top; our food came out in a timely manner and our servers got us everything we need. Wasn’t hard to flag them down since it wasn’t busy. For the price. I don’t think its that worth it for such a small ayce menu, but the bulgogi is great and worth coming back for which is why I keep coming back!

I’m a super simple person when it comes to KBBQ, and I’m a bulgogi lover! So when I want KBBQ on the whim, I just go here. This is why: Wait time: Very reasonable. Hardly none on weeknights and definitely less on the weekends compared to other places. AYCE Menu: Simple, affordable($ 20), lots and lots of bulgogi! Don’t expect anything extravagant and options are limited, but if you get overwhelmed with choices, give this a try. Staff: Very friendly. They’ll check up on you occasionally, ask if you need anything more and that’s all I need! Ambience: Mid-level noise. Cool music. Nothing crazy! Been here a good amount of times, and I’ll keep returning!

We made reservations for a table for four at 11:15pm on a Saturday night, but ended up arriving early and the host was kind enough to move our reservation up! Within 10 minutes we were seated. The all you can eat is about $ 20 per person! Compared to Gen Korean BBQ which is $ 25 per person, no reservations allowed, and a super long wait(can go up to 3 hours), this place is great! We got every type of meat offered except the Samgyupsal and they were all super delicious! The Maewoon Bulgogi had an overload of spiceyness which is not everyone’s cup of tea(my friend didn’t like it) but I thought it was pretty good. Service was super friendly and assisted is with anything we needed. The only downside is that they didn’t check up on us at all so when we needed something we had to get up and call them over. Maybe because it was really busy? Reading other reviews it seems like they were assisted and checked up on a lot! Overall, Beque was worth the 25 minute drive for price, deliciousness, and great service!

Love at first bite! Honey got off work early(10:30pm), so we decided to Unilocal to see if there was anything open other than drive thru & fast food, found Beque which closes at 1am, yes I said that right… 1am on a weekday! There was no wait, service was beyond expectations. The girls kept checking on our table to see if we needed more meat or anything else. We did the all you can eat($ 19.99), 2 steak choices, 2 chicken choices & pork belly. I don’t understand why people keep comparing Gen to this place, they’re nothing alike! & honestly even though Beque serves a lot less meat/no seafood, their flavor is WAYYYY better than the chicken/beef at Gen. The spicy beef was definitely my favorite! It was spicy but just enough kick. It pairs well with the rice & side dishes that are brought out. Honey really liked the marinated chicken, he loved how flavorful the chicken tasted. Overall for $ 20, this place is our new go to spot for kbbq!

My usual go-to late-night Korean BBQ spot, I’ve been here at least five times now. Service is friendly, but comes by infrequently, so it’s best to ask for all that you need when they do come by and set in for the long haul. You can also ask for a water pitcher so you don’t have to wait on too many refills. There are a number of side dishes; my favorites include the potato slices and the glass noodles. All of the meat portions on the all you cat eat side are huge — and of course unlimited. Great prices, especially for the AYCE. Definitely recommend this place. Come by early or during off-hours to avoid the wait.

I came here on a Friday night since Gen was a 2.5 hour wait. I’m really glad I did since the atmosphere here is more family friendly and I only waited for about 15 minutes. The only downside is that they don’t have as many meat choices as gen and they don’t offered steamed egg or soups on the side. Apart from that, everything is really good and the service is great! I would definitely recommend eating here. PS the music here is on point

Found Beque on Unilocal since I planned a last minute birthday dinner w/siblings for my sister and niece and did not want to go through the hassle of waiting a ridiculously long time(no pun intended GEN) lol but just an AYCE Korean spot where we’d be able to enjoy each other’s company. I called in, made my reservation abt 6 and we were on our way! Our experience here was nothing less than smooth! I read here that the air ventilation is awesome and this is NOLIE! One thing about Korean BBQ I dislike is the teary eye & grill smell that clings to your clothes. Great service, ambiance and food was great. I feel like I’ve had better banchan at other places and the meat was okay, but it was a pretty good experience and they kept the banchan/meats filled. There isn’t the chaotic mess we experienced at Yakiniq or that I hear goes on at Gen… just a smooth experience and their servers are really nice. Kudos to them on their SUPERB customer service! My only complaint is them forcing the 18% gratuity on parties of 6 or more. We had a party of 8 and a small child but the tax & tip were off the chains! About $ 60 altogether which to me, is pretty dang steep! It brought our bill to about $ 250…and that was alot more than I had anticipated for 8AYCE options and 1 beer pitcher with dessert. Pros: Beautiful/Intimate Ambiance Lovely Décor Awesome Customer Service Reservations(Online/Phone) OPENLATE

Wow, this place has really improved. I came here over 3 years ago and didn’t really enjoy myself. But the meats have definitely improved. This place can get pretty busy so we had to wait a little for a table, but it wasn’t too bad. One of the unfortunate things is that whether you’re a table of 2, 4, or 6, you’ll only be getting one stove. The stove is also pretty small for a group of 6. You order meats through your waiter. The AYCE is a pretty good deal at $ 20. While it only offers about 7 different meat selections, its enough if you’re hungry and not necessarily looking for variety. The meat quality is pretty decent here considering the cheap pricetag. The waiters were really attentive at getting us more meats and bon chon. The bon chon offers about 6 different things. In terms of affordable AYCE Korean BBQ, this place is great. The atmosphere is great for a relaxed meal, and I didn’t find the place to be too noisy. Parking might be the only tough issue here if you come during peak hours, but otherwise great food and value!

Just wanted to update my review that I fell in love with this place, especially their porkbelly. I was never into Korean bbq, but this place changed my mind! It’s all you can eat for 20 bucks each person, which is a pretty good darn steal. First off, I LOVELOVE their porkbelly I can’t stress that enough! I could probably eat it everyday if I wasn’t dieting so hard. I could swim in it. Only if it’s cooked though lol. And in my opinion, this is the BEST Korean bbq place I’ve tried besides the ones in Georgia. I want to say it’s even better than GEN, YAKINO, and ju sang ju or whatever. The service is always good, never had a problem with them, I like John especially! I think that’s his name. So for the most part, this is a good all you can eat Korean BBQ place! Ill probably be updating since I come so often.

All you can eat for $ 19.99 is actually ridiculous in the Valley right? If I could get away with ending this review now, I’d have to end it with this statement: «Beque ain’t NOJOKE!» I came with 3 groups of people, so it only made sense to make reservations. That said, I’d recommend making reservations for a single group, because there was NEVER an empty table the entire time we were here! That alone is a good sign right? Our waitress was extremely pleasant, and was VERY helpful! She tag teamed our table with another guy, and he was just as good. A couple of folks from our other group ordered milk tea, and they were not that impressed with it. I won’t hold it against them, as that is clearly not their speciality. At our table we didn’t really feel like cooking any of our meat, so we opted to have the kitchen do the grilling. I know… boring, but we just wanted to order, get served, and CHOWDOWN! We ordered the Dak Bulgogi(Sliced chicken marinated in house sauce), and I do have to say, that this was theeee BEST marinated chicken I’ve ever had! No joke folks. The chicken was that good! I’m pretty picky when it comes to chicken, and there was absolutely nothing I would change about it! Conclusion: If you are Korean BBQ fan, and hate walking out smelling like the food you just inhaled, you HAVE to try this place. Their food is top notch, and their under table vents SUCK all that smoke away from not only your clothes, but also away from your hair extensions that you paid $ 175 for! :P

We’ve been looking for a Korean bbq place and thanks to Unilocalers found this. We enjoyed this place but only con is they give you the food to cook. So if you want 2nd servings, you can’t control the quantity… usually I just want little bit on my 2nd servings and not the full serving. The plate comes with beef, pork and chicken. My husband is not a chicken eater so I ended up eating the chicken. I love chicken but not it was way to much to eat. The pork belly and beef were the best! All you can eat is $ 19.99 so it’s worth the trip and as I said we enjoyed this place.
