Jack In the Box

This Jack in the Box is great! Their drive thru is efficient and it’s normally not too busy inside either, so you can always find room to sit in :)

This Jack in the Box location is close to my office so I go here for a quick bite occasionally when the weather is nice and I feel like taking a walk to lunch. Overall I like this location, the service is pretty good and the people are nice. I remember they made me really angry once, but I can’t remember why any more so it must not have been that bad, maybe I was man-​struating or something (it’s a thing, look it up).
Today I visited Jack’s Santa Clara El Camino location and the day will be now and forever known as «Try Thumbthing New Thursday.» I saw an item on the menu with little red letters. I like little red letters. «New!» I like new stuff. It was a Sriracha Curly Fry Burger, hmm, a little outside my comfort zone but let’s try thumbthing new today. As the words were coming out of my mouth to order I was having regrets, I wanted to put the words back but that’s a one way street as we all know. So I stuck to the plan and ordered it. They offered a combo which I declined, I always do, but wait a sec, if the burger already has curly fries piled on it what’s the point in ordering a combo with fries on the side unless you are some kind of potato-​head? I’m not, but I know somebody who is. You probably know him too. He uses the honorary title «Mr.» in front of his name and has more interchangeable noses than Michael Jackson, but I digress. I ordered my usual side item, the mutant, greasy, crunchy two tacos for a buck-​nineteen. Sure, it was Try Thumbthing New Thursday and all, but I felt the burger was enough of Thumbthing New and I needed Thumbthing Sthable to go with it. (What’s wrong with my inunthiation today, did I go to the denthisth or thumbthing?)
My order came quick. I carried it back to my office to try it. I needed to do this in private. I couldn’t have anybody witness what was about to happen. I’m glad I did, as I opened the paper wrapper (what, no cardboard box for your fancy new item, Jack?) it looked like a crime scene, sriracha sauce everywhere, curly fries piled on a burger patty between two buns. There was a slice of cheese in there somewhere too, I checked. DAFUQ did I just order? Try Thumbthing Thursday might just be Thay Thumbthing Terrible Thursday if looks are not deceiving.
I tried it. It wasn’t terrible. I didn’t love it, but I’m glad I tried it. I didn’t sthpit it out or anything. I thought I might like fries piled on my burger, cuz I put potato chips on my sandwiches all the time and that’s totally dope if you haven’t tried it. I also like onion straws and onion rings on my burgers, but I pull those off and eat them separately so that probably doesn’t count. Turns out I’m okay with the whole fries on the burger thing and it probably all depends on the fries being used, curly fries were just okay-​not-​great.
I tried thumthing new today. I lived through it. I’m proud of myself. Jack did a decent job on this one but I’m not ordering it again and I hope I have adequately informed y’all of the pros and cons.

Best jack in the box in the area. Foods always perfect never bad. Excellent workers and customer service. I love coming here always and never going to another jack in the box except this one

We were in line for nearly 30mins at the drive through Saturday night (July 4^th) The girl who took my order didn’t know wth she was doing. My order was very simple and yet I had to repeat myself at least 4 times (I am not kidding) Lastly, when it was my turn to get my food, the girl seemed very irritated and still forgot to give me my drink. She also did not give me my receipt, napkins, or ask if I wanted any sauce. She just handed the bags over very carelessly with an attitude and gave me my drinks with soda all over the cup. She didn’t even wipe it down. They need to work in thier customer service skills. 0 Stars for the drive through staff that night. The food was good though. Not complaining about that

I had previously given this place a bad review because of a poor example of customer service that I had here. By happenstance, I’ve been here 6 times since that review, and just wanted to say that the singular bad experience I had was just that: seemingly a one-​time bad experience.
I do like that they service breakfast anytime. McDonald’s is trying this at some of their restaurants, but not all, unfortunately. So I come here. Love their grilled breakfast sandwich.
And I like the new garlic butter burger. And the new pepper burger. I like that they try new things, and some of them are actually worth trying.
I typically use the drive thru at this location, and 9 times out of 10, I don’t have much of a wait at all.

Rose and Andrea were extremely friendly and instantly greeted us when we entered the restaurant. The ladies asked lots of questions. They suggested different options to inspire me to and make a decision for Breakfast. The ladies truly impressed me when they brought to food to table with a huge welcoming smile! I must say the food was delicious and the atmosphere was inviting! These ladies have definitely changed my perseption of this location!

Crap Customer Service

I said give me BBQ sauce sauce the idiot gave me pancakes syrup how am I going to eat chicken nuggets with a pancake syrup

Don’t go this jack in the box.
Because I ordered a drink because I needed to use wifi. Right after they said no wifi and I requested refund and they said no refund.
Bad business practices.

My friends and I used to go here late at night all the time for their $ 1 chicken sandwiches. We have lots of great stories about how badly they botched our orders. It took an average of 10 minutes of repeating our order for them to finally get it right.
Anyway, when they increased their prices we finally parted ways with the place. As far as Jack n the Box goes, this one particularly sucks.

Another four stars for the staff. I come here (too?) often and no matter the time of day, the place is clean, the service is fast, and the food is more than edible. I usually enjoy my food, so that’s a plus, right? Important note: they have not screwed up my drive-​through order in about six months, which is more than I can say for the JITB on El Camino and Lafayette.

The four-​star review represents the Late Night crew working on Thursday-​Saturday nights when they stay open to 3 AM. If you’re going in the early afternoon on most days, the service isn’t quite as good.
But the deals can be amazing. The Munchie Meals are the best deals they have. For $ 6 (plus tax) you get: 2 Tacos, Fries/​Onion Rings Mix, Soda, and a Burger/​Chicken dish of your choice.
You’re paying the price you’d normally pay for a Jumbo Jack meal but pretty much twice as much food.
I would recommend the Brunch Burger the most. It’s a really nice burger and the egg and hash brown on it are really good. It’s sort of like a poor-man’s Slamburger… when you don’t want to go to Denny’s and pay $ 10 for a Slamburger meal, you can get this one.
I believe they actually offer the Munchie Meals all day if you ask for it. Officially it’s supposed to be from 9pm to Close, but I have been told you can get it any time you ask for it.
One warning of course, which seems to sadly be the case in many JITB stores. They will charge for lettuce and tomato. Say you want a Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger and to add Lettuce and Tomato… additional 30 cents.
Another warning: One of the cashiers tends to just «give» you a medium cup without even asking… he’ll charge you more. Make sure you watch them on this.
They have a TV playing all the time, usually terrible/​cheesy CSI-​style dramas.

It’s Jack In the Box. It’s a franchise. It’s fast-​food. There’s only so much you can say …
JitB however, saved our NYE by being one of the closest places actually open for the night. Open ²⁴⁄₇! After endless rounds of Cee-​Lo, we summed up an amount of money to grab 3 bags full of tacos and the like. I got the Jalapeño Poppers, tacos and cinnamon bites, all were «good» in fast food terms, Jalapeño poppers aren’t cream cheese stuffed but cheese. You can’t beat 2 tacos for $ 1 either!

This is the closest fast food joint to my house. And they are open late. Needless to say, I’ve been here more times than I’m proud of.
Figured I’d try and boost their ratings a bit as the 3 star is a bit harsh. You have to rate it for what they are. As a Jack In The Box, they are probably better than average.
I’ve only used the drive thru and have never been disappointed. Service times are certainly more than acceptable. The staff here actually seem pretty happy to work there. They are always helpful and always ask if you were pleased with the service. They have always got my order right and provided me with correct change. The food has always met my expectations. Not to say it was really good, but met my expectation. What more can you ask for?

I really Hate the customer service at this place. the girls are really Impatient that they give you Attitude and even think that is ok to be Rolling their eyes at you. what is that all about… Like really if you don’t know how to control your Attitude and know how to deal with Customers what are you doing working there. they also need to Improve in their food Quality it is really Greasy… I know that fast food restaurants are not the healthier but at leas work on having less grease on the burgers and by that I mean less grease on the Bun. it was Soak with Grease. Eeewww!

Very upbeat, polite service especially when compared to the Jack near Bowers
Big, flat screen TV on the news is kinda cool
Décor is good for a fast food place since they remodeled a while ago [since my last review of this place]
Just be careful at night but during morning to mid-​evening, the service and food is good

Bacon cheese potato wedges were ok but better than what I expected

I’ve been to many good ones, but this is by far the worst Jack in the box I’ve been to. Service was curt, no smiles, definitely, not friendly and didn’t understand my English. I asked specifically for a grilled chicken strips but then received crispy. I had to drive back from two blocks away to the store and tell them they gave me grilled chicken. They looked at me like it happens all the time, handed me the correct one unapologetically.
Another issue, at the pay window they asked what sauce we wanted, we explicitly said ketchup and ranch and as we drove out, we realized they didn’t give us ketchup. We usually double check but some mofos honked at us.
Service is pretty bad here. At the pay window, I get there and she tells me how much I owe. She swipes my card and returns it to me and as I was about to put it away she immediately shoves the drink in my face like I should grab it. Jesus, give me a second I only have one hand. Stop trying to rush me. Can’t you see I already have something in my hand?
Food taste a lot worse here too. Service at this store needs to be better and more reliable. Please don’t come here, go to Taco Bell on Stevens Creek.
