Employees were very friendly and provided a lot of great services! Employee realized I was a little short on cash but helped me out and gave me a discount on my meal! Pretty good food too.

If i could give no stars I would. I would rant but I won’t, lets just say all of it is sh*t as well as the snobby workers.

Very small serving sizes compared to other locations. Not value for money. Don’t know if staff is not properly trained.

Ordered a teriyaki bowl with chow mein. Was around $ 6.50. They filled the bowl all the way to the top but the teriyaki was all burned and basically unchewable. Chow mein tasted the same as usual, nothing special. Lots of other options in the food court, would not recommend this one.

The line can be quite long, up to 20 people during peak times, at this location. On the positive side, this means the food has been prepared recently. This is a good place for groups. Plenty of seating and everyone can get food from different restaurants.

Panda is the best! Orange chicken is so yummy — I can’t get enough! Rice and chow mein are fantastic as is beef. Always a long term customer.

i was extremely disappointed with the way my family were being treated today around 1.30 pm, monday, oct 5, 2015. my sister in law started to queue when me & my brother were approaching the ordering counter. so my brother joined her and there was a small line behind her at that point. i was outside the ordering line waiting for them. a middle age chinese female server walked passed them and started to help the gentleman behind them. i made a loud announcement that my brother & sister in law were skipped. so when she got our attention, instead of listening to my family that they had been skipped she rudely told them to queue to the back of the line, wtf? she did not bother to check of we were skipped or anything. she basically treated us as if we are begging for free food. i lost it and told her sternly that not only she is being obnoxious, she failed to see who is next in line and now she had insulted us by telling us yo go back to the end of the line. after reading some of the recent reviews, i have a feeling most are complaining about this particular chinese woman. then after she found out she screwed up and i demanded an apology, she said i am sorry rudely in mandarin. so my sis in law asked for steam rice in madarin, ‘pai fan’. the same server started to scoop up fried rice even after my sister in law repeatedly told her steam rice. apparently either she needed her ears to be cleaned and had her eyes checked and her attitude adjusted or simply be fired from ever serving customer. we did not expect any special treatment or anything, but i do have low tolerance for ppl who are serving customers rudely and ineffectively. that is simply uncalled for and unacceptable. the young caucasian lady who ended up helping us was super nice, polite & tried her best to calm me down and settled the situation. i got the store mgr phone no and the employee name: bohy. i called the manager and reported the incident to her immediately. maybe the mall is so busy that Panda Express no longer care about who serve their foods and how the customers are being treated and rudely abused by their staff.

I usually get the half and half, chow mien and fried rice. Orange chicken and Beijing beef. Just your average Chinese fastfood. Food average and service is pretty quick. 3.5 stars out 5

(: Boba-Foodaholic Says :) My order: Kids’ Meal — Orange Chicken + Chow Mein This place is located in the food court of Valley Fair in San Jose. I was really disappointed about their services. The Panda Express’s food are always the same wherever you go, but the services make it different wherever you go. First, I was in the line for my turn, however their lines are so weird and not clear, which made me so mad because people are cutting in line and not lining probably which I had to ask people if they were in line. When it was my turn, I got a kid’s meal because I never can finish the bowl or either the two side meals. Then she gave me really bad look that says«What the hell, you are grown up and you are getting kid’s meal! I am gonna give you only small portion.» Then she put really small amount then they should actually have put. The plate was almost empty even after they put the chicken and chow mien. The funniest part is that the woman put out the Chow Mien after she put it, I guess she thinks she put too much for me :(I just don’t get it here. The most annoying is the paying part. The woman in front of me was ridiculous being so late and unorganized paying her stuff. And then the cashier was so slow ringing up the orders, which took forever. The worst thing is that she rang up some guy that wasn’t even in the line to let him pay for just the drinks. What the hell. She is super unorganized which I had to wait like 5 minutes to pay for my food!!!

The worst tasting Panda Express location! Bland soup and noodles, disgusting and extra greasy entrees. The workers in the back must be doing a silent protest against the cashier who yells at them between customers.

It’s the definitive fast food Chinese restaurant and practically a household name around here. I have always had good experiences at all the locations I’ve been to all over the Bay Area. Sometimes there is a bit of a line, but they are always fast and efficient and always get you through quick. It’s kind of a cafeteria type restaurant where you choose your food and they put it on your plate. They are always pretty friendly. You can’t beat the price too. I love the Orange chicken, Kung Pao Chicken and Pot Stickers. I don’t go as often as I used to because, although they do have some healthier choices on their menu, I am trying to get away from fast food. I will definitely go as a special treat once in a while though.

I hate how the ladies make it seem like we are like homeless begging them for food, giving us the dirty look. F you ladies if I want some greasy panda express chinese food! Beware! I ordered the honey walnut shrimp today and the shrimp was RAW! Even the eggplant tofu was on the nasty side Check your food before eating it! I went back to tell the lady. she mugged said«ok ok I give you new one» Uhh I paid for my food, im not asking for your charity.

statistics 101: 90% of Panda Express customers are repeat customers. Panda express is not some mom/pop chinese take out. They are the McDonalds of Chinese fast food. Repeat customers generally know what they want and know what the food tastes like. Up-sale techniques increase profits by aproximately 7% annually. Thats why these Panda Express employees are told by their managers to constantly ask customers to try a sample and ask you over and over again if you want more food. 8 out of 10 customers find up-selling techniques to be annoying. The employees hate up-selling, and the customers hate hearing it. Is the 7% annual increase worth pissing off 80% of your repeat customers? Is the 7% increase worth the stress added to an 8-hour minimum wage employee? I don’t blame the employees, they are just doing their jobs. I blame the managment!!! Is the 7% really worth it?

This place is way too packed and the line is always too long. One time we went, the line went out of the door, and it was FREEZING outside. I went here 3 times already and had to wait 15 minutes plus just to be helped. Out of all the Panda Expresses, this one gave the least helpings when they filled up my box. Although I never can eat it all, I don’t like paying extra for a shrimp item and only receiving 2 – 3 shrimp lol. Their staff always seems to be in a hurry, but they could at least serve with a smile or at least have some personality. Their cashiers always seem to be friendly, but I am talking about those who actually make up your boxes. After going there 3x and having to wait in a long line, I think I will just go to a different location next time; they are obviously in need of more staff. Also, they should be a little quicker in the clean up department because the tables seem to be getting neglected. No matter how busy the restaurant; there should always be clean tables, especially when vacant.

Once in a while, my stomach cries for greasy Chinese food and Panda Express satisfies my cravings!!! It may not be «authentic» or «real» Chinese food to some people, but their selection of dishes is pretty good! This particular location inside VF mall can get REALLY busy, but the ladies that work here move fast! You can also ask them to sample something before ordering! WHAT’S GOOD? — Chowmein — Fried rice — Orange chicken — Beef & Broccoli — Eggplant tofu — Honey walnut prawns(I believe they charge extra for this, BOOOO!) SKIP… — Eggrolls(no flavor and nasty…) — BBQ Chicken(it’s usually SUPERDRY whenever I get it here…) Overall, SOLID3STARS for me!

It’s a Panda Express in a mall food court. Really, that’s about it. Given that as the baseline, the food is good and the customer service is good too. Occasionally, someone will ask a question like«would you like a drink» and turn to the next person before I even answer. This has happened a couple of times. No biggie but I guess it’s symptomatic of trying to provide good service and move people through the line quickly at the same time. It’s not an easy job and I sure as heck don’t want to do it.
