Ordered the fish tacos fish was over cooked in stinky oil! Beans were dry and the rice was tasteless,

The past 3 years, we’ve been hosting our company events at this location. This year we received a email from the events manager, inviting myself and a guest, «to dine […] FORLUNCH», and that we would be entitled to «two complimentary entrees of [our] choice». How great is that! Cool, we get there, we order, and we eat. Everything was great, till we present this email and are then told that we cannot use it. We were there for lunch, and ordered the entrée of our choice as we were entitle to per email, so I dont see why we would not be able to use this«coupon». The manager comes over and said that it was only for LUNCHENTREE meals… there must have been some super fine print, because it didnt say that anywhere in the email. She apologized, but then offered a free togo meal for the both of us… you could not let us use our coupon, but are willing to give us both a free meal to go??? Why not comp our meal and just call it a day, since your pretty much doing the same thing. Nonetheless, we paid for our meal. But word to the management, how about your proof read your emails next time so that you this doesn’t happen.

I was really surprised by the 3.5 average rating. Pedro’s was terrific! I judge a restaurant on the following: food, service, ambiance and parking. OK, maybe food is a little more important than parking but still. It’s all part of the experience! 1. Food: I attended a party and they had a buffet, so I tried MANY different dishes and they were all delicious! Enchiladas, tamales, fajitas, chile relleno, beans, rice. All great. And the desserts — oh my God, please, I want gallons of that flan to take home! 2. Service was excellent — attentive and fast. 3. Ambience — love the building and interior, it’s so cute, very SoCal, almost Mediterranean. 4. Parking: ample, thank God. 5 stars, easy. If I lived closer, I would be a regular.

The place is really nice outside&inside. Food– was okay. I had the salmon salad, salmon was good, but didn’t have much flavor and the sauce they used on the salmon(almost bbq-like) didn’t not give it any better of a taste. Salad was $ 15. My boyfriend had a combo plate, also pretty expensive given the lack of taste and freshness of the food. Beans taste like store bought out of the can. The only plus of this experience was their strong margaritas and sweet corn tamales and their attentive servers, but for the taste and the cost, not worth it

I found this restaurant thanks to my mother in law! Me and my boyfriend came on a saturday night and had enchilladas, which were super yummy! We also ordered some guac, which was really fresh and so delicious that I couldn’t stop eatting it! The staff is really nice, the place is cozy and clean, let alone, the food is amazing! And I need to go back to try their corn tamales!!!

Pedro’s…I can’t give this restaurant more than a 3 star rating. I do like the atmosphere! I enjoy the inside and how it is quite random and unique looking. The food is only OK given the price tag. If it was on the cheaper side I’d probably give it another star, or at least a half star more. The enchiladas I’ve ordered have always been OK, and the drinks(especially margaritas) always feel a little more on the virgin side. I do like their chips and salsa. Originally when I went here, the salsa was SUPER spicy, but the last few times I’ve been, I think they’ve either toned it down. I like that their chips taste warm and fresh; and they are always happy to bring you more. Overall, a nice atmosphere! It gets super busy during happy hour/dinner time. It looks like a nice place to entertain guests, but the food is mostly just OK.

I’m a huge fan of Pedro’s. I come here often with co-workers because we work right down the street. This place is beautiful, architecture wise. The ambience is great. We never have a problem getting seated, in fact… We get seated right away. Since we come here for lunch, I’ve mainly tried a few of their lunch specials. Enchiladas, tortilla soup(too salty in my opinion), Mexican Caesar salad, steak burrito, and my personal favorite… Their Chimichanga! I just have to say, their guacamole and salsa is VERY good! They have a great and friendly staff. Always attentive and exceptional customer service. One time, they overheard me say that it was my birthday, and at the very end, they surprised our table with a song and dessert! I was so surprised… It was so sweet of them. They really go above and beyond here. I also came here once for brunch and football Sunday… They had a brunch buffet set up and the food being served was amazingly delicious. I definitely recommend this place for a fun brunch outing with friends. There is also a bar area with a HUGE screen tv… Great place for happy hour! Try their margaritas! Big-sized and strong:) Try this place and let me know what you think! Gracias — SLB.

With a super friendly service and generous portions, the food at Pedro’s is worth a review. The restaurant space is cosy, albeit expansive with a pseudo authentic look, giving it a very welcoming appeal. The host also welcomed us with a bowl of Tortilla chips and large portions of deliciously conjured up salsa. The tamales were duly devoured by all of us, and I who had never had one, was the primary consumer. We ordered the chicken and steak rancheros — generous servings of meat, beans and rice with tortillas on the side. Excellently cooked and flavoured. Definitely going back at some point again.

Really good Mexican food! Even though the waitress forgot my order of free nachos, I can’t deny how good Pedro’s is. Their enchiladas and salad are my go-to meals. My friends got the enchiladas with mole and said it was one of the best they ever had! The flan was yummy too, and that’s coming from a person who doesn’t really like flan!

Chips and salsa. Boom. Was feeling a bit under the weather so I basically just ate multiple baskets of chips and salsa(included with the meal). Noms –The chips were hot and a tasty, well-spiced salsa. The dishes were quite large… maybe it was the deceiving amount of beans on the plates? Okay I got a salad. The homemade croutons in the salad. hrnngg! Menu — Not too veg-friendly a menu though. Logistical issue — We went as a large lunch party of 9. They said there would be a wait, and we couldn’t order food if we sat at the bar. People were getting hangry so we sat at the bar and someone let us order food. Okay? The devil is in the details. The restaurant is quite large and I’ve driven past it hundreds of times. It definitely relies on that Spanish style architecture. In conclusion, chips and salsa. Let’s be real, that is the best part of any Mexican restaurant anyway.

A bunch of us came here for dinner on a weekday night, after making advance reservations. We got seated immediately and were served free chips and salsa. Salsa was okay at best, have had better salsa in other Mexican restaurants. My choice for drinks was a coconut and hibiscus mojito — was fabulous. In fact that was the only thing I liked! We ordered a bunch of appetizers including chimichanga, tacos, etc etc. Not too impressed with that. My choice of entrée was the crab meat and shrimp enchiladas. It comes with two large enchiladas drowned in cheese, and a rice of beans and rice. To me quite honest, it was disappointing. I love cheese, but this one was an overload, to the point I couldn’t enjoy it. There was hardly any crab inside. Rice and beans were blah. I thought they did a great job with the service. But food was blah. So not coming back again.

This is a popular office lunch spot for us for several reasons: — Lots of space. Never had a problem being seated — Easy to get to — Lots of options, including veg They also do a great job setting up for larger groups If this wasn’t a work thing it really wouldn’t be my cup of tea. The food is just ok, the drink options are pretty slim. I’d say the food is below par to a Tex mex chain like Chevy’s. If you do somehow find yourself here: I recommend the grilled salmon or the chile verde. Margaritas are pretty sweet too. Avoid: the soup and the burritos are a little sad.

My hungry colleagues and I came here for lunch and ordered various dishes from the menu — Enchiladas suizas, beef fajitas, grilled salmon, steak burrito, enchiladas del mar. The dishes were good but not exactly spectacular. My enchiladas were a bit dry and the flavor profiles didn’t quite hit the mark. About 10 years ago Pedro used to be a really good Mexican restaurant around here. Not sure what had happened with but the food is just not the same. I must say the staff was ultra-friendly and help to take our group photos. Complimentary nachos for first time Unilocal check-in!

Best for happy hour! Strong drinks, killer prices on normal sized appetizers. I’ve eaten at Pedro’s more times than I can count and it’s always good. I’ve been here for a wedding rehearsal dinner to my HS graduation dinner and they have always done a great job. It’s really a great location for an after work dinner or working lunch. Center of many Santa Clara businesses. Service can be spotty just because they can get pretty slammed during peek hours. My favorite dish is their nachos! SO damn good! The chimichangas are also killer. I’ll continue to visit!

So disappointed with my lunch here yesterday, Pedro’s is usually the go-to spot for happy hour since I literally work steps away in the Freedom Circle business park, but after yesterday’s meal I think we’re going to go elsewhere. My chicken burrito was about $ 15 and it was poorly wrapped, the thing broke apart as soon as I picked it up so it ended up being a burrito«bowl» that I had to eat with a fork. Again, I’m not the one to complain about pricing unless I get bad service or have a poor experience. which in this case i TOTALLYDID. I would have been happier buying 2 burritos at Chipotle. It’s sad how that would have been put together with better care then an actual sit down restaurant. I always enjoyed the steak nachos here, but I’m so done with this place. I had to get up and ask the server for my receipt and a to-go box for my burrito«bowl». Literally never bothered to check in on us for whatever reason. It took forever for the waitress to bring out chips and drinks. It was clear that our chips and iced tea were empty, and they never got refilled. We did eat outdoors, but she was dropping off orders left and right on the outdoor patio, so it’s no excuse. For it’s pricing and service, I’m better off going somewhere else. Even when it goes on the company card, I’m going elsewhere next time. I rather drive a couple minutes and go somewhere where I can get a better meal and experience.
