Quiet and tons of seating. Parking lot was pretty tight. Not sure why everyone is crazy about the food… Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. The pretzel + cheese I had was nasty(flavorless, cardboard-y, very salty, not chewy at all, cold). The rest of the food items had a very plastic look to them, so none of it was appealing. However, I’d give them another shot based on the nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Although this place is a great work/study area for people with free wifi, the coffee was not the best for those who look for quality coffee. The drinks me and my friends ordered were too sweet for our taste and overall just meh. I would come here again for the good studying area spots, but coffee didn’t really to be anything exciting.

I got an iced white mocha and it was really good! The setting was spacious, definitely a nice studying spot or a place to catch up with friends.

I’ve heard of this place for a while now and finally took time to check it out. Sadly it did not impress me. The coffee selections are typical of any café but the drinks themselves are pretty bad. They lack any flavor and for the price I suggest you try elsewhere. Staff was friendly and environment was clean and welcoming for studying and hanging out.

Meh… maybe I’m picking the wrong things to drink? Or I just expected too much from the reviews? I ordered the blue lemonade my first time here and it was reallyyyyyy tart, but really sweet. It shouldn’t make sense, but that’s exactly how it was. It had a sugary aftertaste, but the initial impact was something more sour than Powerade. Not a fan. The second time around, I ordered something I hope would be light and refreshing, a passion fruit soda. Omg, it was so sweet I had to dilute it THREE times with water. Like I get Americans like their sugar(I do too), but literally it was like drinking cough syrup. Gross. The snacks here, though decent, are quite expensive. $ 7 for a pretzel/toast? I mean, the toast is pretty large, drizzled with honey, with cheese sandwiched between garlic butter toast. It was delicious and unique, but I wouldn’t pay that much again unless I was starving. The pretzel is smaller, but nearly the same price. It was yummy and cheesy, but again, would not pay again. Personally, though I’ve only been to Big Mug once, I liked it more. It gets kind of cold in Tom n Toms, lighting is limited, and it’s always packed. I’ve had better.

This is a great place for catching up with your friends or studying alone. In the back of the store, there is a room that is perfect for group studies. You may have to reserve it ahead of time. Tom N Toms is ridiculously popular in Seoul. During my visit, you see their chains open for 24⁄7. I can see why! It’s a fine establishment. Even in Santa Clara, the store is so clean(including the bathroom). They offer pastries, coffee, frappé, and teas. I haven’t tried a drink that stood out to me just yet. I will update if I do. For now, I can say their coffee is simply delicious. I heard their sweet potato latte is a must-try. So that’s on my list.

Tom N Toms Coffee is the Korean version of Starbucks, an International coffee brand based in South Korea, with nearly 500 stores in its native country and shops in far-flung locations like Mongolia and Thailand. In ‘Murica we see Tom N Toms stores in Koreatowns. I work near the one on El Camino Real in Santa Clara and it’s a nice, dimly lit, well air conditioned spot where I like to hide from my job on occasion. The Tom N Toms menu is much like what you would see in any coffee shop: coffees, lates, iced frappé coffee drinks, a few teas and a reasonable selection of baked goods. However, being of Korean origin, Tom N Toms also offers some interesting options you won’t see in other places. Their Sweet Potato late is very yummy. They have green tea and black tea lates. My favorite, go-to drink on hot days is the addictive Black Sesame Smoothie for $ 6.50. It’s very good, the only caviat is because it contains a LOT of black sesame seed purée you need to do a teef-check after consumption or run the risk of sitting through a meeting with black specks on and between your teeth. You know the situation all too well, you are talking to somebody, they have stuff in their teeth, you are thinking to yourself, «should I tell them? Nah, they will figure it out.» Then they don’t, and you say, «should I tell them now? Nah, it’s been a long time, now they are just going to be embarrassed.» Then they figure it out for themselves much much later and punch you in the arm saying, «why didn’t you tell me?!? Now that banker thinks I never brush my teeth!» Don’t let this happen to you, do a teef-check after consuming the Black Sesame Smoothie. You have been warned. Why is this so important to me? Did this happen to me one time? Maybe… Their baked goods look bomb, but I don’t eat a lot of baked goods so I have not tried them. I do see many of the patrons nomming on them though. Nobody looks unhappy. I might have heard somebody moaning one time. This is definitely a place worth trying if you are in the neighborhood. Hit me up if you need some company.

When I lived in LA, I remember frequently seeing Tom N Toms just driving through Koreatown, so it’s fun to see them trickling up to the bay! This location makes for a great study space; it’s generally pretty quiet, and there’s plenty of seating. My go-to drink here is the sweet potato latte, which doesn’t actually have coffee in it so I add in a shot of espresso(and also helps balance out the sweetness). There are a lot of different things on the menu, from traditional coffee drinks to fun milkshake flavors, so there’s definitely something for everyone. Baristas are nice, and the pastries look yummy as well so I’ll be coming back for sure!

This place is so awesome! I use to go to Big Mug(right in the same plaza) until this great Korean Coffee shop opened! The ambiance is definitely different from Big Mug, as Big Mug is more homey/cozy/hipstery/cool for da IG, but Tom N Toms looks more modern/contemporary! Perks: Free wifi(password given on the wall, so you don’t always have to purchase a drink) but it can get busy, espicially Sunday afternoons when everybody wanting their coffee fix Awesome drinks– of course they have your basic drinks like espressos/lattes but they have super unique Asian type of drinks like: Sweet Potato Latte(what everyone keeps talking about– I have yet to try it, as there’s no coffee/espresso…And i need my coffee caffeine :/, you can add espresso into it… but i don’t think it’ll taste that great.) Persimmon smoothie — how weird is this?! but looks interesting! Black Sesame Smoothie Taro Lattee Tommichino(I’m probably spelling this wrong…) but it’s their ‘frappé’ and the consistency is definitely really good and quality. It doesn’t taste icey and super sweet like Starbucks. But do be prepared for the very limited parking spaces… this plaza gets pretty busy! So if you’re looking to catch up with friends or simply get your studying done, this is the place to go!

My current place to get things done. Lots of tables/chairs inside with outlets. The interior is very clean and spacious. Free wifi. Password is pretzels! They have a sink right outside the bathroom so you don’t gotta wait if all you need to do is wash up really quick. They’ve got a variety of options for drinks. I’ve tried their mocha tomnchinno(yes, it sounds like frappuchino) and their black tea latte iced. Their tomnchinnos aren’t as sweet as Starbucks which I really liked a lot. It doesn’t make you feel crappy afterwards! My drink didn’t go up the straw that easily, but I think that’s how they make it, not completely blended so it doesn’t liquify so fast. Their black tea latte was exactly how the lady described it — it tasted kinda like milk tea. It was good! Can’t wait to try more things on the menu! P. S. It’s very tempting to get kbbq with all the choices nearby. bad place to be when I’m trying this new cooking thing.

I’ve been coming to this place for quite a while now and became my favorite place to hang out, get some work done, study, or just drop in to have a daily/weekly dose of my favorite drinks. Great selections of food and drinks. Taro latte, spicy chai latte, sweet potato latte, persimmon smoothie, and hot Italian pretzels are my favorites. Sweet, delicious, and refreshing. I have yet to try their signature tomnccino drinks. Spacious & clean place with plenty of seats, tables, outlets, fast wifi and outstanding customer service. I can’t get enough of this place!

I always love discovering new coffee shops and I’m enjoying my new discovery even though they’re not exactly new. Tom N Toms is near another one of my old favorites, Big Mug(which has seen been overrun with popularity. Lol). I like my coffee sweet but not too sweet and the vanilla latte was perfect for my tastes. The butter croissant was the way I like it also, big and buttery. Make sure you ask them to warm it up for you if they don’t offer first. There is plenty of seating with high tables, window seats and a couple of couches. There is free Wi-Fi and it’s pretty zippy. Service has been polite and quick. Almost forgot to mention, unlike Big Mug, you can actually hear yourself think here, meaning the noise levels are noticeably lower so if you just forgot to bring your headphones you don’t have to listen to 5 other conversations around you. This is just a good solid coffee shop to catch up on your laptop or grab something to go.

I’ve been coming here lately to study and it’s my new hidden gem. It’s very quiet here(during certain times) and there are plenty of seating. There’s a huge table tucked away in the back for bigger group in a private-ish room. A major PLUS is that there are LOTS of power outlets. Usually at coffee shops, you gotta fight with other people for the table that’s near an outlet or you have to awkwardly walk over to plug in your adapter near another person. I usually get their oreo tomnccino. My boyfriend has tried their iced coffee, some other flavored tea, and another drink… sorry, I can’t remember any of their names atm. We’ve ordered their tortilla pizza and the garlic toast bread, both were pretty good! Tasty little snacks to munch on while you’re studying. I usually switch between this place and Big Mug, which is just around the corner. Prices of the drinks and food are a bit pricey, but I don’t mind it because I can get lots of studying done here.

Very chic coffee shop that has one of the best bread treats I’ve had in a long long time! The walnut honey bread is OUTOFTHISWORLD!!! We enjoyed our coffees inside they were even brought to us! It’s the little things that make a place like tho stand out from the rest! Yes… it’s a $ 10 bread which in my eyes is pricy but it is big size. so I understand. Other then that it’s a super cool place if I lived closer I would be the size of a house from all those treats! Awesome place! Will be back for sure!!!

Move to the end of the bench Big Mug. There’s another Korean coffee shop in town and this one addresses the primary weakness of the former. Tom N Toms is literally around the corner in the adjacent plaza and I suggest you park in the same lot as Big Mug and just walk over since the parking spaces are wider and the parking situation for Tom’s can be tight and chaotic. Bear with me as I’m taking a compare and contrast approach to give you a sense of why I was impressed upon my first visit here. You see, a few years ago, Big Mug was relatively unknown and you could find parking and a seat and not be subjected to a loud collective cacophony of voices while you sit shoulder to shoulder with the other patrons. Don’t get me wrong, this may suit some of you but for myself, I look for coffee shops to either catch up on my digital life/work and or have a chill conversation. On many fronts, Big Mug has become a victim of its own success. Now on to my new gem(and yes I do realize it’s probably a matter of time before Tom N Toms catches on even though they’ve been open for business for 7 months). The layout is nicely spaced out with tables not stacked on top of each other. On this particular Sunday afternoon, 90% of the occupants seemed to be students studiously studying so it was eerily quiet. The vanilla latte was light, not too sweet, but wish it had a bolder espresso blend. The decent chocolate chip cookie was smaller in portion but appropriately priced and the Wi-fi was speedy. For now, I’m ahead of the coffee shop curve and I hope it stays this way(at least until I find my next gem).

I came here to surprise my friend Michelle S. when I saw her Snapchat this place and give it a try. I concluded that this was an average coffee shop. When I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly employee and helped me order since it was my first time here. I eventually ordered the green tea Tomiccino size tall and received it 5 minutes later. The shop was what I expected it to be. Noise level: conversational. Ambiance: casual. Drinks: average and overpriced. Wi-Fi. One thing that I thought that was annoying was the entrance and parking lot. I ended up parking in the parking lot behind the shop and just walked over there.

Plenty of seating area to go around and good wifi speed too. The sweet potato latte felt like I was drinking liquid sweet potato, really good, though I do wonder how much sugar is in the powder. I enjoyed the garlic bread a lot. two thick slices of white bread toasted with garlic butter sandwiched between and honey drizzled on top. Definitely will be returning for afternoons with friends. Only downside is this strip mall has quite a few shops and restaurants and no where near enough parking to go around.

I absolutely love Tom N Toms Coffee that I am typing this review in here as we speak — they deserve that much! Although Tom N Toms may have just opened recently, this place is actually pretty crackin’. For the last two times that I’ve been here(both on a weekday and weekend afternoon), this coffee shop is pretty darn crowded all the time and I can see why. There are an abundant amount of outlets and tables for all of us coffee lovers and caffeinated workers to choose from. Also, I really like the overall interior of the place because it is spacious and can accommodate many parties. Wi-Fi is also free and fast as well. Customer service-wise, the staff is very friendly, cheerful, and quick at making drinks. I ordered their Iced Vanilla Latte last time and it was delicious! I always fear trying Iced Vanilla Lattes at different coffee shop locations since they all differ in flavor, but Tom N Toms was great! I will definitely be coming here in the near future to get some work done. The only downside is the tiny parking lot outside — there is definitely competition outdoors to find a parking spot. Other than that, this place is one of my favorite coffee shops in the Bay Area. If you are reading this, keep it bookmarked! ;)
