I was very disappointed with this beauty supply store. I went into the store twice to buy the same large round brush, which broke after about 6 months use. The 3^rd time i ended up buying another brand and hopefully it lasts long. I was told 2 different times by 2 different sales persons that one of the managers would get back to me about the large round brushes I bought. The large round brush was the 3^rd one I had bought at this place and stupid me believing the sales person, I waited a few days for the manager to call me about the broken round brush, I ended up calling and the sales person told me that again she would tell the very reliable manager. (In her own words) would again call me back again. Which never happened. I would of been happy if they would of at least call me and said they couldnt do anything for me but not completely ignore me. I never will buy there again. The store is just up the street from me, but I would rather drive miles than go there again.

This beauty supply has a small salon in the back. Dara is one of the hairdressers. Dara knows her stuff she does my color as well as my cut. She never cuts off more than what I want. Her first priority is to give u what u want. I hate hairdressers that never listen to what u tell them. She constantly checks to see how your feeling and if u like what shes doing. t’s a great atmosphere. very relaxed.

Have been very disappointed both times I came here! First time was several years ago when I bought my friend a flat iron and it didn’t work. Took several trips to finally exchange. My last and final experience was buying tweezers last month, the tip wouldn’t come together to pull out hair. I went to return or exchange but was told «they were final sale», (which I wasn’t told when I bought them!) Left with tweezers I through in the trash.

Dara McHenry is a terrific cosmetologist. She listens to her clients and offers helpful suggestions based on the client’s hair and shape of his/​her face. She makes the experience fun! She is a magician with hair colors. If you’re looking for a great hair dresser, consider giving Dara a chance. Her hours are very flexible. Some evening appointments are available.

If you are looking for a hair stylist, I highly recommend Ellyn. I have been her client for the past 8 years and she is the best with color! I won’t let anyone touch my hair other than her and before I met her, I would let anyone cut and/​or color my hair. She is the best!
They carry a lot of product often times a little bit more inexpensive than at other places.

Nice neighborhood store. Although not as huge as Sally ’ s beauty supply, they have ample hair accesorries, name brand styling and nail products. They used to sell hair extensions but didn’t see one lately. The place is always clean and the associate there is very attentive, even zealously that sometimes your privacy to choose can be invasive. They engage you in a chatter to see what exactly you are looking for and offered suggestions. They sell tops too and now discounted at 50%. I get my palladio, nyx, durable hairclips, nail products from here. They have discounts and they announce it through email.
They have also accessories like necklaces. Bracelets. A little bit more expensive but if you like classic ans sophisticated costume jewelry for that hip chick in you, you might yo check them out.

My best experiences are always at Celebrity. They have the best management team and employees who are all extremely knowlegable and helpful. They always have all of my favorite products and go out of their way to special order anything that they may not carry in store. You rock Celebrity! Keep up the good work.

I’ve always had a great experience shopping here. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I came in the other day and the sales woman was super helpful. They were out of my hair product so the she called their other store and got it transferred to Saugus for me. What store does that anymore? I am a customer for life. Thanks Celebrity!

What an UNCOMFORTABLE place to shop! The girls who work there can be very rude and very bitchy. My mom and I have been shopping there for many, many years with no complaints until now. The lady who is the owner or manager is the RUDEST of them all. She is so intimidating and unapproachable. When I had a question about a shampoo, she gave me a very bitchy answer. I should have not boughten anything and just left but I did end up buying the shampoo which dried the hell out of my hair. So when I went back to return it, the younger girl behind the counter gave me major attitude and 21 questions about my return. Seriously? WTF. No one deserves their attitude or bitchiness. There are plenty of other beauty supplies in SCV to shop at and celebrity beauty is NOT one of them. They just lost 2 loyal customers. Gooood Bye!
By the way, It’s not a smart idea to talk bad about fellow employees or previous costumers when people are in the store trying to shop. It makes the business look very unprofessional and makes people uncomfortable.

In response to C. M. You should be considerate to small businesses that usually only receive credit/​debit cards and be prepared to have smaller bills on hand. As a customer I have shopped here for over 20 years and have always found the staff knowledgeable and helpful. We’re lucky to have such a great local beauty supply.

Lauren is very nice and helpful but this store hardly ever has what I’m looking for. I’d rather drive a little farther to Sally’s because they have more of a selection of products.

It really doesn’t take coming into a place of business to know, one would like to shop there. How’s that you ask? It’s how your spoken to on the phone. I’d called inquiring about a product to cover the tips of the acrylic nails. So while typing I’m not slipping all over the keyboard. Amanda answered the phone after giving her a dissertation on what I was trying to locate. She also double checked with a Sales Rep that was in the store to confirm if the Nail Protectors were available & where I’d be-​able to purchase this product. Let alone, what the name of it was instead of a dissertation given to be guided to the correct product & or search on computer. The Rep was not familiar but, that did not stop Amanda from continued assistance. While on the phone with me she took the time to brainstorm with me on ideas for what it might be called so it could be keyed into the computer for more direct hits on what I’m looking for. Her suggestion continued in suggesting other beauty supply stores; I’d already talked to. Which had left me with the «No, doesn’t sound familiar» or «No, we don’t carry that. Used to but not anymore» Umm, do you recall what the product was called? *hope with-​n my question* Nope. Click. Well, all is not fine in a world of wow there isn’t much we don’t have. Seeing secretaries ware these as they type away. Not that I’m in the industry to readily inquire to one whom is utilizing them, as they type away… Whelp, with Amanda’s brainstorming with me & the relaxed, I’m here to help you while on the phone. Was a PLUS for me. I do not like that feeling of: your wasting my time sorta tude over the phone. Or the hurry up don’t you know I’m busy? Tude.
With the brain storming from Amanda & I the product was found ~ Finger
. Then there is Nail Savers those are more for tanning beds to stop the nails from discoloring due to the light used to tan the skin.
What I did then was called Celebrity Beauty Supply & Salon back to let them know what I found out. This time I spoke with Madison; Whom is very well spoken young woman that also validated how I felt about my first impression. It was also very nice to be-​able to speak with someone that spoke clear English. Now, don’t shoot me in the foot with that statement. I have an obstacle with hearing and to have heavy accents it’s difficult to understand. Let alone, give one from another country that’s trying to understand English a dissertation is almost futile.*giggles*
So bottom line, Thank You to you both Amanda & Madison for your patience & professional communication & desire to help. I’m looking forward to shopping in your store.

Celebrity Beauty Supply and Salon is a five star full service salon. I have been a dedicated customer for 12 years and the service is top notch. The employees are very knowledgeable on the product they sell and always greet me with a smile. The customer service is above and beyond my expectations every time I walk into one of their 3 locations. Thank you Celebrity!!!
