This review is solely based on my experience tonight. I used to not mind going to dinner here but now I know I probably won’t join when people say they’re going. Let’s start from the beginning. I walk in and the lobby is crowded. Which is fine. You’re busy. I get that. But the fact that I’m 20ft away from the bathroom and it smells like I’m standing inside the bowl of an Andy gump is not ok. Then once we are seated our server has absolutely no personality. Not even a smile. Sure you might have a bad day. I don’t expect a razzle dazzle show when I’m served but at least don’t make me think you hate your job. Now we’re getting to the food. I ordered yellowtail sushi and there was still the edge of the fish skin on my sushi. I had to pick it off. We also ordered the garlic edamame which had no taste whatsoever. Literally none. My avocado on my red dragon roll was all soggy. The reason they get a 2 star is that the price for all you can eat is not that bad. But after seeing the quality of food they’re using, it makes sense.

I’ve been eating out several times a month for many years and I must say this place has the worst service I have ever experienced, and the food is mediocre. When we told the server it had been at least an hour since we gave him our order we watched him walk over to the sushi chef and tell him, the sushi chef literally started laughing like it was funny. That should have been our cue to leave but like idiots we stayed. We finally received our order which you think would be perfect since it took so long but it wasn’t. Instead of albacore sushi we got albacore rolls. We ate our food and ordered again since it was all you can eat, but after 30 more minutes of waiting and no food we asked for the check. Wish I could give minus 5 stars. Don’t waste your time or money at this place.

The waitress Michelle was super sweet and I liked the overall feel and quality of the scenery however my rolls that I ordered were badly made and loose along the seaweed being ridiculously rubbery. I’m the type of person who really tries to find the best in any situation but holy crap I’ve never had such bad sushi in my life. I ordered a albacore roll and I had to try my best to finish it without vomiting since they charge extra for leftovers for the all you can eat. Hell no I’m never going back!

I’m surprised by the bad reviews for this place. I’ve come here twice and had excellent service both times. Not only was the staff very attentive and accommodating, but the sushi was delicious! It’s the best quality and price that I’ve come across for an AYCE sushi place($ 20 lunch $ 23 dinner). Definitely give it a shot because in my opinion, it’s the best affordable sushi place in the SCV!

I have been to many sushi restaurants. This is by far the worst place ever. If me as korean person is telling you this korean owned place sucks it means alot. The owner gave us attitude and charged us extra for not eating all the rice. How can you eat every bit of huge balls of rice trying to fill our stomach with rice not sushi. Seriously do not come to this place. Really no joke. The owner has a yellow tinged hair.

So I have been driving by this place for a few months now and was always curious to go and one day I decide to go with my girlfriend and get some rolls to go so I show up at about 9:20pm last night 40 minutes prior to closing and Half way through getting my head thru the door after opening it I get bluntly told that they already did last call in the most unprofessional manner by 2 young ladies at the counter. Words to management/owners if you’re re going to make last call 40 minutes prior to closing time then I highly suggest changing the hours of operation that better tells customers to get lost at an earlier time. But regardless of what the future holds for this establishment I will never be a potential patron… ever. But thank you for reinforcing my loyalty to LOVE Sushi which is in the shopping center right next to this place.

If I could give this place a –10 I would. The fish quality is Mediocre and the staff is the worst. They take forever to get your food all while they stand around and talk. We’ve been here for almost 2 hours now and they’ve forgotten multiple items we’ve ordered and then when we asked about them, They told us we never put it down… I can’t believe how horrible this place is. Also the bathroom smells HORRIBLE! It seeps into the restaurant and makes the experience just that much worse. On average 20 min wait between food items. They’re only 4 people in the place. Horrible horrible HORRIBLE! Go to sushi 661, trust me.

Used to like coming to this Sushi Bar. However; it had been a while and it seemed like new management, When we went last week it was a terrible experience. The food was OK once we got it. We ordered all you can eat and it took forever between each serving. It seems like the servers were intentionally ignoring you. There was no napkins and chopsticks for only one setting. My friend had to get up and go to another table to get some. Ordered Plum wine and she came back saying they just ran out for the night. It was only 6:00 pm! All and all the terrible service was such that I do not think I will come back again. :(

Horrible !!! The manager literally stalks you to make sure your not sharing if you don’t have all you can eat. Before making false accusations make sure you actually seen sharing happening. She wasn’t professional at all, she couldn’t even come talk to us. Other then that servers were great. Manager needs to get laid. Never coming back.

Can you say crap. Hate the money mentality drive. Low quality, rude service and quite frankly they make you feel like a criminal if you leave a grain of rice on your plate. This is not a fine dining experience or good sushi place. These folks care more about making fast coin then a quality experiance. The place is designed for low budget greedy sushi eaters that want more greed bang for their buck than quality. I’ll never go back even if it was 3 for 1 night and a free movie. Pass on this suck ass establishment, pay a few bucks more and get a meal you can enjoy.

I used to look forward getting my sushi fix here until Saturday. When we walked in, there were Christmas decorations still up. Poor choice of music was playing through distorted speakers. Cussing could be heard from the mix of rap and top 40 music regardless of children present. The food came out fast but not all were brought out. I ordered miso soup and never received it. That is the first dish that is suppose to be served. I had to wait for ginger and wasabi. Our waiter was awful. Her friends were sitting across from us and she tended to them mostly. She went as far as to eat off their plates and take few a sips of alcohol without caring who can see her. I asked the same waitress about my wife’s lobster rolls since I was almost done eating. That is the one entrée my wife craves for here. The waitress said she would check up on it. Fifteen minutes later we are still waiting for it. I flagged her down again. Me: What’s going on with the lobster rolls? Waitress: You haven’t gotten them yet? Me: No and we’ve been waiting. Waitress: Well… Do you still want them? Wife: Yes I do! Waitress: Ok, let me check. During the next ten minutes we see other tables receiving lobster rolls and we were getting very irate. I’m not the type that likes to cause a scene but my wife was livid at this point. Me: Well? Wife: We see others getting there lobster rolls. Waitress: When the dish comes out of the kitchen other waiters are grabbing it. Wife: Maybe if you did your job payed more attention to your customers instead of your friends sitting across we wouldn’t be having this issue. Waitress: Do you still want it? Wife: No! Give us the check! This has got to be the worst service I have ever received! She came back with the check and told us that she gave us 15% off but that was not acceptable to us. It is sad that I’ve boasted about this place to family and friends about how good the food is but I will never return. The service is terrible and I recommend they start hiring better staff.

I don’t usually leave a bad review as long as the service is good. However, this place is just not good. To start with we had reservations and waited 20 minutes to be seated. Then, it must have taken about 25 minutes to get our first order of sushi. The sushi itself was bland, no flavor, and dry. I ordered the yellow tail sushi and they brought me salmon. I re ordered the yellow tail and they brought salmon again. I told the waitress it was wrong and said she would be back with the correct order(it never happened). I asked for water refill twice and didn’t get that either until I asked for the bill. Needless to say, I won’t be going back to this place.

Use to enjoy this place. A very appealing expanded new menu but every we ordered was bland and uninteresting. Male bathroom is disgusting, smells awful and not kept. 1stall and 1 sink outoforder grafiti and such. Service was fast but we had not been here in a ling time and probably won’t come back.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. This place by far is the WORST sushi place ever. I am not picky at all but this place is a total and complete WASTE of money and time not to mention your health. My boyfriend and I came here to eat, we did the all you can eat because we were starving and their food tasted stale, and old as if it’s been sitting out for a really long time. Their beef plate was cold when we got it. My favorite rolls in general are spicy tuna and shrimp tempura rolls. This place had the nastiest thing come to our table and claim it was spicy tuna. When I told the server I won’t eat this she told me she was going to charge me extra because I didn’t eat it. Wtf? I told her that I want to speak to a manager and when the manager came she said we will be charged and when I told her it was the nastiest thing I’ve ever eaten she seemed as if she had heard that already. I can literally go on about this terrible establishment but I won’t. To the owner or manager if your reading this, take a couple courses on how to treat your customers because you won’t have any with the food and service you provide!

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but hopefully my experience will get to the people that run this business so they can see how poorly my party was treated. We filled out our order sheet clearly and with no discrepancy. We basically knew what we wanted. We did not order«all you can eat». The staff was so over whelmed with customers that they simply could not keep up. It took about 25 min before we were served. And when we did get served, others were left waiting while one person eats? Random servers would bring food to our table that we clearly did not order, even though we sent it back and did not eat it, at the end of the dinner we got charged for it on our bill? When I asked the server to bring back the order sheet he said that he lost it? Funny? Then I realized that we got charged for food that we did not order? Bottom line is I caught what they did. And after a little argument with a person in charge, they corrected my bill. It is my belief that our server marked more food than that was originally ordered? Once they take that slip they can mark what they want without you looking. I can’t believe this place. They knew what they did and I’m pretty sure they have gotten away with it many times. If you are wondering how I felt about the quality of the food, the service at this establishment left a bad taste in my mouth.

ZERO stars. NEVERCOMEHERE, ever. The place was pretty full, but everyone was already served. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry & have never seen so many incompetent waiters. All of the staff were super slow, lazy and incompetent. It took 7 minutes to seat us. Patrons sitting in the restaurant was already fed and more than halfway into their meals. 20 min goes by without any water or without even asking. We flagged down one of the busboys to ask if we could get some service… Ordered some water and tea. No one served us that after 10 minutes. We walked out. Plus their all you can eat is total S– they charge extra for half of the sushi on TOP of the«AYCE» price. Bad taste in all 5 of our mouths. Lousy service. We’re out!

I have never left a bad review for a restaurant before. I’m pretty tolerant of new employees that are first starting out and make mistakes. However, this experience calls for a ZERO. A one star is being generous! After waiting 10 minutes to be seated when there were plenty of open tables… Our party of 5 was seated. 15 minutes later we had to flag down a busboy to let him know we did not even get asked if we wanted water. After he went over to a waiter to let him know we had not been serviced, the waiter paid no attention. The manager came over after her overheard us complaining and finally took our order for water and tea. We had placed all you can eat orders and the manager told us they were backed up and it would take a while but the appetizers should be out quickly. Most of the tables had already been served and were already paying to leave. There were 3 other servers and not ONE had come to pay any mind to us. We waited another 20 min and not the waters nor the tea arrived! We finally just got up and told the manager to cancel our order and left!!! It’s ridiculous to wait that long for water let alone food! Will not come back here again!!!

Yesterday was the first time I’ve been back since my last review and I still feel the same way about this place! Fish was such bad quality yesterday, that I couldn’t tell which fish was what(minus Salmon of course)! Even the sweet shrimp I ordered didn’t taste fresh! I just can’t believe there are still sushi restaurants with this low quality, old fish out there! Won’t ever come back. Definitely better places out there! On a positive note, the one star is for the uni(sea urchin), which actually did taste good!

Tisk, tisk, tisk. Excellent service is imperative for any business to thrive. Hibiki failed to recognize this. Tayler, our waitress, was condescending and had a snappy attitude. Right away, I was not happy to be there, but still remained to give Hibiki a try. The good: — Large all you can eat variety. — All you can eat prices are affordable and kids 3 and under are free. All you can eat prices are in one of the pictures I took. — Monkey brain was delicious with a good balance of spicy and sweet. — Udon soup was good. — Cucumber salad was good. — Mango roll was delicious. The bad: — Some of the worst and unfriendly service I’ve ever received in Santa Clarita. Tayler can be thanked for this one. — Typically, when you go to a sushi bar they bring you ginger and wasabi. Here, I had to ask for it. — From A to D quality, Hibiki’s fish was a C+ quality grade. Not the worst, but certainly far from the best. Salmon had a slightly sour after taste. We ordered the salmon lovers roll and had to send it back because of this issue. — Albacore typically comes with ponzu sauce but not here. Very dry. — Slow food delivery for an all you can eat with a 90 minute time limit. — Had to remind them to bring a sauce we ordered. — Lobster roll was very oily and the cut onion was over powering. — Décor is very out dated. They have Christmas decorations up in September. Overall, I could deal with the mediocre food, but the terrible service from Tayler was a major deal breaker. If a business wants to be held in high regard they need to hire staff that represents the owners/management’s vision of being successful. Examples like Tayler show that any business is prone to failure if Management does not have the skills to hire and retain the right folks.
