Me my wife & now our daughter we all go there.
Takes her time. She is booked most of the time but will never rush you.
Just today I got a hair cut walked out very satisfied once again.

I found Ondrea through the Unilocal reviews, so THANK YOU! I have long, layered «rock n’ roll» hair and let me tell you, it is REALLY difficult to find someone who «gets» it. I’ve had one bad, weird haircut after another and it was bumming me out. Ondrea not only gets it, the girl totally rocks! She was able to fix what had been a bad haircut and get it going in the right direction. It already looks 200% better! And I know it will be even better the next time. I’m so glad to have found someone this good in the SCV. Also, the salon itself is nice and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Thanks Salon Seven and Ondrea! :)

Brought my daughter here to get her hair done for prom. This place was busy with teenagers getting hair did for the dance. A little pricey for no wash and no cut ($ 70 + 10 tip =$ 80) but my daughter loved it.

I’ve had a great experience getting my hair done at Salon Seven! I highly recommend Kelly. She has colored and cut my hair a few times and each time she has done a great job! She listens to my needs and she is the sweetest person to chat with too!

I absolutely LOVE my hair. Darby Vilensky at Salon Seven is AMAZING! She is fast, efficient and always does amazing work! I had virgin blonde hair and she lightened my hair with a conditioning product that made my hair feel as if she never even lightened it! I love it! I have so much confidence now! How amazing is Ondrea? Beyond amazing. The word «amazing» does not suffice, and I am working on inventing a more fitting word. I’ll get back to you on that. Linguists, hold on to your butts.
I recently moved back down to SoCal after a few years up in the Bay area, and I was looking for a really decent stylist after wandering like a nomad through the salons of San Francisco. And I found Salon Seven, and in it, Ondrea — someone who is WAAAAAAYYYY beyond just «decent». She is perfect.
My first appointment with her, my hair was damaged and had devolved into a formless mess that I’d been putting off dealing with for months. She gave me an INCREDIBLE cut, one that has been growing out fantastically. The salon itself is such fun and is a warm, welcoming environment — I feel as though I’ve known everyone who works there for years.
My second appointment, I went in for a cut and color — I decided that I wanted to go for a platinum blonde (a difficult feat, considering my hair is red). Ondrea was very honest about platinum being one of the most difficult colors to achieve, and she is currently working with me to slowly transform my hair through lighter and lighter shades of blonde highlights over time to get me there with as minimal amount of damage as possible — I cannot TELL you how appreciative I am of her patience. I once went platinum through a stylist who did it all in one day and did not warn me of the damage it would (and DID) do to my hair.
The color I’ve got at the moment is BEAUTIFUL, and I am so glad I don’t have to go through any awkward all-​over orange shades during this process. Love it! Love Ondrea, love the salon, 5 very enthusiastic stars!

I love Ondrea. She is great at doing my hair. I love my cut and color every time. She listens to me and always offers professional advice when needed. Ginger (the owner) is a very experienced business woman. She runs a great salon and truly cares about making her customers happy and feeing confident when they walk out the door. The prices are very reasonable and the new space is gorgeous. They have the cutest stuff for sale as well. It’s so hard to not buy everything. I love Salon Seven and I am so happy I found them. Highly recommend checking them out.

Ondrea is the best. I have been to quite a few hairdressers in my life and Ondrea is hands down the best ever. Great color and cut always. And their new salon/​boutique is great. I actually bought a really cool top there today.

I had just moved back from the east coast to California, and I was desperate for a cut and color. (You can imagine after a cross-​country move that my hair needed some love.) I immediately started calling different salons in Valencia. Salon Seven quoted me a decent price, and I asked for a stylist that could work with my hair: fine, curly, blonde hair. The receptionist recommended Kelly!
LOVED her! Kelly gave me lovely blonde highlights that looked natural, but bright and lovely. She also cut my hair so well that I can wear it and have it look good both curly and straight, which is hard to do! Thank you, Kelly!

Great Salon! Great Space with an Awesome Vibe!
My first time at Salon Seven and I was really impressed by the super cool atmosphere — sort of industrial chic, definitely a style I liked — not too girly or to testosteroney (is that a real word??) It’s a great mix of salon (hair and make up) as well as very cool clothing, accessory items. My regular salon is in San Diego, but I went back and bit the bullet to have «natural highlights» (aka the grey hairs) taken care of by Linda. She did a great job and I was impressed by her recommendations for the color. I’m pretty conservative when it comes to changing my hair and was so appreciative that she «read» that right away and was suggesting a step approach to color changes. Definitely put me at ease and for that alone she gets major kudos! Her color work ended up being great and eliminated any of my nerves of going to someone new — she did a wonderful job blending colors making it look so natural which is exactly what I was going for!
While at the salon, I learned that they’ve just moved to this new location but have been around the SCV for many years. The staff were all really friendly and I was glad to see that they were busy with lots of their regulars who were still coming despite the move. I can see why people follow the salon and stylists — hope they succeed in their new home!

I thought I would update my review to talk about the beautiful new space Salon Seven has moved to and was surprised Unilocal had created a new listing for the new location. Ginger has been doing my hair for years, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. Ok, actually, I would trust anyone Ginger trusts enough to work here. I see happy clients and beautiful hair every time I’m here coming from all of the stylists. I’ve had Ondrea do my hair when Ginger was on vacation and loved my hair just as much!
Salon Seven has a warm, welcoming vibe and everyone here is top notch! Whether I’m going for a big change or an «updated usual» I always leave here feeling like a million bucks!

Love this salon and staff! I have never trusted someone so much with my hair. She always is running on time, always uses only the best product on my hair! The salon is so clean and upbeat. Truly a pleasure to go in and get beautiful! Would refer her or any of her girls in a heartbeat !

The salon has a fun, welcoming atmosphere and the new look is very chic. Ondrea is phenomenal! She has the ability to listen to exactly what you want and totally transform your hair. She also explains her techniques so you can learn why she does things a certain way and she’ll give you tips for how to keep your style looking great at home. I have never left the salon with a cut and style that I didn’t love and I always leave with a smile from the great conversation.

So happy to see such talented ladies move to a new beautiful home! Ondrea has been doing my hair for years and never fails to send me out the door without enhancing my locks and making them as gorgeous as ever. I’m a student and I always end up with someone who sits behind me asking me where I get my hair done, I absolutely love it.
