Lowest prices in town, especially on insulin. Amazing how they are ¼ the price of CVS. THey are always calling me to let me know that my prescriptions are due. Pickup is usually fast and efficient. Every quarter, the pharmacist wants to go over my prescription list, which is quite extensive. If I need extra refills on any given day, I can shop the wide open passages and get some free samples of various snack items.

Seriously, people… seriously… You NEED to know about this pharmacy. I want to help you. Even though I’ve had some of the worst customer service in the world at this pharmacy… this is strictly about saving money. The people working there(at least right now) are exceptionally clueless and apathetic about what they’re doing, my prescription has been wrong twice, they are often out of the medication you need and it can take up to a week for them to order and receive it. They say they will call you when your prescription is ready… days go by & they never do. There is also no Sam’s Club anywhere near Beverly Hills, so this is a 30 mile drive from home. However… I have struggled for years with not having health insurance & having to pay cash for all prescriptions. This is bad news for anyone, but especially someone like me who is prescribed four different medications, one of which cost $ 500 a month ’till it went generic… then it went down to the low, low price of $ 350. Sam’s Club is not a place I would ever consider shopping… if I need a store of that type, I will definitely go to Costco. Sam’s Club is kind of sad… dismal and depressing inside with customer service coming in at about a one out of ten and a not great selection of items. However, one day when I decided to compare medication costs, I was stunned to find out how low theirs were… on a regular, walk-in basis. You do NOT need to be a member to fill prescriptions there… you just tell them at the door that you’re going to the pharmacy, & they let you right on in. Now…it gets better. I also found out that if you do sign up to be a member, and not just a regular member, but an «Executive» member, you then receive FORTYPERCENT off of any of your medications(generic) that are not already on their über cheap $ 4 list. ANY!!! That means you have to shell out $ 100 to be a member, but you start saving on prescriptions that day. If you’re not on expensive medication, or you have health insurance, you won’t care. But if you have, say, a $ 125 prescription, you’ll save $ 50 on it that day. Fill your prescription just once more and you make your entire membership money back. Fill it once a month for a year and you make your money back AND save an extra $ 500 for the year, or more. Plus you receive a $ 20 gift card just for signing up, and yes, you can apply it to your first prescription. I was shocked. I have no other need for this Sam’s Club card, but it’s saving me a ton of money prescription-wise, and I do have the comfort of knowing that if I ever need a huge sheet cake or a 50 pound tub of anything in a hurry, I’m all good. Plus they give you an extra card to give to a friend/relative/gift, whomever. I gave my extra card to my boyfriend, he got his own little name & picture on it, & as Executive members we are entitled to start shopping at 7am… a full two hours before the regular card-holding peons. Yeah! Oh… and it’s the cheapest gas in L. A…right? I just thought that was really cool, and that people should know. I could’ve saved thousands last year alone. And I’d love to help anyone like me who’s forced to spend a ton of hard-earned money on medication get a break.
