Brooke is wonderful. I found her after doing an extensive search/​research for someone in Santa Cruz who could give me an affordable, new, sassy, very short and feminine cut after growing out my color.
She’s a phenomenal listener and I knew from her responses that she understood exactly what I was looking for AND also what I DIDN’T want.
Not only did she deliver a great cut that was everything I wanted, but I left there feeling that I was her most recent work of art; that how I felt about it was as important to her as it was to me.
If THAT wasn’t enough, her price was $ 25 less than I expected.
She’s talented, smart, warm and wonderful: customer service the way it SHOULD be.

I have been a client of Brooke’s for over 7 years. When my manicurist and hairdresser left the country, I was referred to Brooke and have never been sorry. I am frequently asked ‘who does my nails?” and people can’t believe I only have them done once a month! Her work (and price) is consistent and holds up through yard work, painting, etc! While I appreciate her work, I also appreciate her company. I am never bored and always stimulated by sitting and talking with Brooke while she does my nails. And I love the peaceful, quiet home setting… no up selling, no conversations to overhear… a true break in my day!

I have been going to Brooke for almost 2 years now after trying various stylists. I have curly hair and she is the only stylist I have found who really knows how to cut and shape curly hair. Her Deva-​cut is based on the «Girly Girl» technique and I am always happy with it and can go longer between cuts because it is shaped correctly. On another note, my kids will ONLY go to her. My very particular son and daughter trust only Brooke with their wavy locks. They are tweens who have very definite opinions about how they want their hair to look. Her prices are reasonable and her home-​studio is clean, comfortable and a nice place to relax while she takes care of you.
I highly recommend Brooke, especially if you have curly hair.
