Great local art paired with surf, skate and bike centric gear makes a beautiful addition to the shopping scene in downtown Santa Cruz. Indie shopping at it’s best with expert service, it’s a great resource for this grom mom.

Went in to exchange a shirt that was a Christmas present. The person that greeted me at the front door was helpful and friendly. They did not have the size in stock. I asked the Gentleman behind the counter, (Manager ?) if I could leave my name and number to see if the size may come in at a later date, and he said «no, there is no way at all we can track this, if the size you are looking for comes in». I say «maybe I will come back in a few days to exchange the one I have for the size I am looking for, if one happens to come in». The Gentleman behind the counter says rudly «so you are going to leave that shirt in that box for 3 days and bring it back, and then you think that we can sell it that way?» He was rude enough to me that I am not going to go back. Too bad, as I support all of downtown Santa Cruz.

Yes! This store is great! Quality products and incredible customer service!
Long story short, bought a pair of sunglasses for around $ 250, high quality! Unfortunately they had a manufacturer defect, small chip on the lens. Not the biggest deal, but if you spend that kind of money on sunglasses you want them to be perfect out of the box. So… I brought them back to the store. The manager, Bubb, helped me out. He said he would contact the company and see if they would ship a new pair. They wouldn’t.
Instead of giving me push back, Bubb said that I should pick out a new pair for free, any one in the store, and he gave me my first ones back! So now i have 2 pairs of very nice glasses!
Due to how this was handled I will probably end up spending more money at Berdels than he took in loss on those glasses! Props for good service and good products!

Great staff and awesome collection of unique skate gear! They are brand new and already have a nice selection of men’s clothing brands with a lot of Local companies like Thieves. If you can’t find what your looking for the staff is more than friendly and can help you out. Can’t wait for them to grow and get more stuff in! Highly recommend.
