Clear View Window Cleaning & Gutter Clearing

I’ve had this company clean my gutters for a few years now. First time having them wash my windows – will definitely use them again for this! The two guys who came were prompt, very friendly and caring, and did an excellent job on all my windows and sliding doors. They even crawled out onto my steep, scary roof and got a high window no one had ever dared clean before – it literally still had construction splatter from 1996 on it! Unexpectedly, they even brought their own water for the job – a very welcome extra perk since our well is dry and we’re buying water by the truck load.

Got one of their postcards in the mail and thought I’d give them a try. Seemed nice enough when they gave an estimate, however. .. .. I was surprised by the behavior and attitudes of the actual workers, especially if you politely point out something they missed. It appears they were in a hurry to «get it over with». I agree with Lisa K., they do ignore simple requests, like to not go into a girl’s room — which they did anyway! That’s really creepy. The workers left behind obvious large streaks on several windows (zero attention to detail). I won’t let them near my house again.
Based on the previous 5 star reviews, I’m guessing something recently has changed within the company.
I found out that one of my neighbors had their gutters cleaned out by this company, only to discover (after they left) that dirt and leaves were all over their car AND the side of the house. For how expensive Clear View is, the level of professionalism should match the cost. Hopefully they turn things around before it’s too late.

Don’t bother with these guys if you value your time. We have a vacation home outside of Santa Cruz with windows desperately in need of cleaning. They made commitments to come out and give an estimate which they did not keep. They said they would do the windows within the several day time frame I requested, but that was not true either. After several days of emails making commitments they broke, and phone calls they did not return, they just blew me off.
After giving up on these jokers, I found that there are other window washers in Santa Cruz who are far more dependable.

For the second time at our Santa Cruz home, OUTSTANDING work! Windows and power wash on our driveway, exterior of home. All companies big and small could do well to have the work ethic and quality of this company…

I live in Carbonera Creek and my beautiful view wasn’t so beautiful anymore. But, Clear View came through did a fantastic job. Efficient, quick, and a fair price. I will be using them annually. Thank you Brett! You rock! :)

I am soooo happy with their work today. I cannot believe my house looks so pretty. I haven’t ever seen my windows so sparkly and clean. The garden window is completely transparent now and the sliding doors probably need stickers because these guys did such a great job. I’m pleased as punch. Thank you. See you every year from now on. Bradley and Dan did a very professional, fast, and friendly job. Yay !

My old cranky house suddenly became bright shiny and new again… once Bradly worked his magic. Hell, I felt bright shiny and new again! Quick, efficient and worth every penny.

I had Clearview sent out to my house on Monday, to clean my gutters and my windows. The gentleman showed up on time, worked very quickly and were able to do an outstanding job. Price was reasonable considering the challenge it is to clean our gutters. I will be using clearview again next year, and would certainly recomend their services.

Great service by Bradley yesterday. He and partner cleaned the gutters and washed the exterior of all windows on our 2.5 story townhouse in under 1 hour. (The estimated time we got over the phone was 2 hrs.) When it turned out that two high skylight windows were dusty from the inside, Bradley washed them for no extra charge. These windows were situated in a very difficult spot, with no wall to lean the ladder against, and hanging over the height of two stories under the ridge of a cathedral roof. Bradley propped his ladder against the top beam and bravely wielded the squeege hanging in the middle of the air, as it were, all the while. All the windows and window screens got excellent cleaning, and after the work was finished, no trace was left outside of all the debris that came down from the roof.
The only complaint, they showed up about two hours ahead of schedule. I was in the middle of a work project and haven’t started yet removing things from decks and balcony when they arrived. Not to worry, it turned out: in the end, they left the decks cleaner than they were before.
We’ve used Clear View several times before, with good results most of the time. But this time beats all previous services. Next time I’m using the company, I’ll be sure to ask for Bradley.
